The end for this trilogy was beautiful, it was a hell of ride to get here but it was worth it!

Lightning Returns is my least favorite game in this trilogy and that's mainly because the time restriction, but I have to say I never played something like LR before and it was quite the experience. So I ended up doing a "100%" run on my 1st playthrough it took me 60 hours doing everything basically, the remaining trophies can only be done in NG+ and I'll be getting those later, this platinum is right around the corner!

I have to admit that I honestly thought I was screwed when it came to getting the remaining decoration accessories I was missing, but that's because I ignored the sidequest I hadn't done. After getting those out of the way, it was time to get the ones you get from Puni. By following the video guide, I was able to get them, even though it took me a while to figure it out how exactly. At least you don't need that one you get from solving the statue puzzle, which I left undone.

 

Before I decided to face the optional boss, I wanted to make sure my gear was good enough. I also decided to make an Elixir with good traits, as that came in handy.

 

As for the boss itself, let me say the positive things first. Unlike the final boss, it never inflicts Curse. It also uses its ultimate attack three times (at the beginning, halfway and near the end). The negative? Everything else. This is easily the longest boss battle I've faced so far, and that's because it has a huge damage resistance. It took me 20+ minutes before I managed to beat it. Even with good gear, it still took that long. At least it's not hard. As long as you guard every time it attacks, you're good to go. You can also play cheaply by doing this: whenever the boss is about to attack (excluding its ultimate), use an item and the attack will be cancelled. This can be done in any battle, but I didn't mention that until now.

 

And thus, my journey with this game has reached its conclusion. Did I enjoy it? For the most part, yes. The sequel was better than I thought. Will I play the other games in the series? Maybe. I might try Atelier Sophie in the future, but right now, I'm taking a break from RPGs.

This game was quite the experience, it's not something I'll play casually but it was very fun, I liked the combat in this game and the free roam was a nice touch. Lightning Returns is my least favorite of the trilogy but this game was a good way to end the trilogy, the ending was just incredible. It sucks that this trilogy is over, I had a lot of fun with all 3 games and getting the plat for all three of them was an awesome challenge. This is going to be my last platinum trophy on the PS3 for a while, a good 2 years grinding platinums on the PS3 and what better way to end it with this amazing trilogy!

Two days ago I started the MyCAREER Mode of WWE 2K17 and it sadded me realizing how grindy it is, at that point that after just few hours I decided that I would have stopped playing it for some months, I was already burned out.

 

But weirdly enough, only yesterday I decided to give it a shot again and I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought, and I was even able to unlock this Trophy. Not sure why it is so rare, considering that it only took me roughly 10 hours to unlock it... And also, there is another similar Trophy that takes three times longer to unlock, and is more common. Well, easy UR I guess ?
