It was nice to see Sir Dan getting out of his crypt after these many years. I think this was a good remake, it plays just like the original one (Resurrection is still my favorite), it has its issues but nothing to worry about. Getting the plat for this game was hell of fun and very easy, I'll say the most "tedious" part was doing the lost souls side quests, the rest of the trophies were a breeze. 

Totally recommend playing this game, classic of classics!

(btw this game has the best reward for completing a game ever)

As you can see... I finally completed Gravity Rush Remastered last night and got the Platinum for it. My 10th Platinum. So I'm finally in the double digits for Platinums. No this wasn't planned. It's just how this turned out. Overall... I enjoyed the game for the most part. It had a bit of a slow start but did pick up eventually in terms of story. I feel like it was still too short though, exceedingly frustrating at times (especially when it came to getting the Platinum), and very disorientating as well. But I did enjoy it really. I wouldn't say there was anything 'outstanding' though.

 

So in case you couldn't tell or it wasn't obvious enough I also started the sequel, Gravity Rush 2, last night as well. Looks MUCH better graphically that's for sure. But I suppose I really shouldn't be surprised considering the first game was just a PS3 game that was 'remastered' but liking it so far. I am hoping to get the Platinum for this as well.

In a first for the series the game offers multiple routes through each level (with the exception of The Final Mission). Once you reach a branching path, save the game and follow a route to its end. After finishing a route pause the game and load your save, now complete the other route. Extremely frustrating as you can spend a loooong time going through ambushes with extreme-accuracy bulletproof enemies and a Drake who dies quickly. You have to be very patient, accurate, and fire at the right moment. QTE fights were tedious as no error were allowed and I got many input errors while I really made the right move with my finger.

 

Also, not my "latest trophy", but I managed to get Rub One Out on 22/02/22 at 22:02:22.
