Distortion's Progeny Completed "Natural Distortion." 74.17% Common Loved the weather puzzles in this one. True Potential Fully upgraded the special effect of a piece of equipment. 53.85% Common Did a quick upgrade for an easy silver trophy. A Landscape of Memory Completed "A Familiar Place." 71.14% Common That Chimera battle was fun, also loved the colours in this dungeon. Imbued Memories Used a weapon ability for the first time. 60.42% Common And my first weapon ability has been used. The Wind's Light Completed "Memories of Wind." 68.45% Common Tiamat was tough, on my second try I was able to win thankfully. Phantom Memories Completed "Phantoms of the Past." 63.75% Common I was glad when I was done with this place. Big Bully Knock someone over 69.52% Common Sometimes it's fun to be mean. Master of the Twin Sticks Defeated Ganryu's Sasaki Kojiro using only Dual Wooden Swords. (Cannot use a Visitor/Companion.) From Heaven on High Completed "The Sparrow Flies Again." What's a culverin? It's just another word for cannon. Fire all three cannons and it's yours. You're given the first two cannonballs by an NPC you meet early on, but you'll need to find the third. Using talismans is fine for MotTS. I did not use any bows or guns during the Kojiro duel. "The Sparrow Flies Again" is a boss gauntlet. Spoiler You fight Katakura, Shigezane (yokai form), then Masamune. Watch for Katakura to summon allies with ranged weaponry. Ultimate Shifter Collected every trophy. And that's Gravity Rush 2 complete. My 11th Platinum. Overall... I don't have much to say about this game or even the franchise in general honestly. It wasn't good... but it wasn't bad either (the franchise in general). Very disorientating for the most part and overly complicated and difficult at times. As far as Gravity Rush 2... I don't know. It was better than the first game at times... and also worse than the first game at times. The story... felt too all over the place. I'm not sure how to describe it. I'm not good at this sort of thing honestly. But I'm not about to say I regret buying or playing these games. Because I got 2 Platinum Trophies out of them. Complaining about getting Platinum trophies... seems like a hypocritical contradiction for me. But I'm not saying I was disappointed. That belongs to another game right now. Which I won't name until the end of the year maybe unless another game overtakes it obviously. That's about all I can really say. Not good... not bad. Mediocre? I guess? Just not my kind of game I guess but I completed them and got their Platinums so I suppose that's all that really matters. Would I get a Gravity Rush 3 if it were to be made? Well... let's just say if that was to get announced/revealed... I'd probably feel obligated to buy/play it even if I may not necessarily want to. But again it wouldn't matter if I got another Platinum out of it. So yeah. Sorry. I'm just really not great at this sort of thing and I'm still not in the best mood unfortunately. I'm feeling better than I did this morning but not by much (yes it has to do with the Nintendo Direct being confirmed to be the shit ones from 2020) But the game is done and that's what is important here. If you really must know what's next for me... it's Tales of Graces f which I'm hoping to begin tonight. If I'm in the mood of course. Don't expect a lot of trophies from me for that game either. Genshin Impact (PS5): Scarlet Sprouts (III) Portal Knights (DLC): Nosy Nellie Portal Knights: Dedicated Knight which finally unlocked... Ultimate Portal Knight I'm really happy to have completed the first of five games in my Summer Backlog challenge. I have to admit the buggy game play in the High Rift frustrated me almost to the point of swapping the title out. We're talking slowdowns and stuttering since the first release of Odin Sphere that made me watch helplessly while the timed gameplay ticks down. Ugh! I also reminded myself that it's my job this summer to relax after a very busy past few years of work. So, I cleaned off my whiteboard and decided, hey, I'm going to enjoy gaming and much needed down time. Good luck everyone! CMM4 was a breeze, but CMM3 was riddled with bad luck - four resets. Ended up finishing with a new crew, and CMM2 was shockingly breezy (I lucked out, my partner was an absolute beast) except for GTA online cutting off RIGHT AT THE END OF the Act 3 finale. I don't believe in curses, but that shit got to me. Not that it matters now, cuz the long hard month has finally paid off.
