Yet again, I tried to get this ASAP (with Azure I did with ×3.00), I should've tried later when I'm more powerful, but it was an interesting challenge which required a lot of luck.

That's the end of the first chapter, that was great. Already looking forward to the events of the next one!

In my opinion, Agnea's story started as the most uninteresting one, but in the end it was awesome. That final boss theme, I can't stop listening to it. And it was a hard boss, I had to use hired help to win, I've seen some people on Twitch call it cheap, but I don't care. I lost 3 times and I wanted to win.

These were a hell of a grind. There are 64 story missions you need to play and most need to be done multiple times to complete all the objectives and to play as each character that's available for each.  Some of the levels require you to play them at least 5 times and with each run lasting around 10 - 15 mins it can get quite boring. Now on to the second grind of the game, chronicle mode.

At last I have finally completed Arkham City at 100% completion. It was a kick to the teeth for me as the challenges were 5x longer then Arkham Asylum. Seems like getting those 400 Riddler Trophies were a pain in the royal ass for me when gathering and finding more intel from the enemies themselves. I have also completed the DLC packs and everything else off my bucket list and therefore I am very happy that I chose Arkham City for my 1100th platinum milestone and everything went according to planned. I have already started on Arkham Knight for my 1150th platinum milestone and that's where the final Batman game will begin now.

 

Thank you Kevin Conroy for voice acting Bruce Wayne/Batman, Thomas Elliot/Hush, Thomas Wayne and other characters too.

The hunt continues with Ratchet & Clank 2. My first run was more challenging than I expected, I farmed some bolts so I could get the RYNO pretty fast and that was pretty much easy mode unlocked haha. This type of final bosses are so nostalgic!

Whelp, here we are again... just another piece of DLC asked for by precisely nobody, for a game that does not need it. So far, so Valhalla. Hey, at least it's free this time, right? Best get to it, completion waits for no man or woman or whatever Odin or Havi or whatever their name is, is. However... as unlikely as it seems, this outwardly nondescript Roguelite experiment turned out to be the most fun I've had with ACV since the base game, and that has been a bloody bit since, yeah?

The impermanent and procedural nature of Roguelikes is usually not to my liking... progression is at least half the reason I enjoy games. But, not only does this prove a good match for the base gameplay, and the smattering of right proper Creedage that it oh-so-joyously brought back (though whomever suggested it be expunged to begin with should still be thrown into a vat of acid, razors, and Funko Pops), but it offers enough retention of progress and meaningful bits of permanence to make any run regardless of level of success feel worthwhile to some degree.

Through compounded runs and accrued skill, most players should be able to bend the mechanics in their favour, even to the point of defeating a dragon without staggin', as the trophy requires. This is my polite manner of denoting brokenness, something this game seemingly cannot escape no matter its style of play. However, avoiding damage is infinitely more important than in the base game, as there is no instantaneous way of healing in a fight unless you wear certain equipment, and even that will punish the careless and unwary. This means, of course, that ACV had to first become a Roguelite to fulfill any of its ambition of being a Soulslike. Kinda fucked, huh?

Maybe I'm just lacking experience as the concept does tend to scare me off, but this is about the closest I've come to genuinely enjoying the Rogue-adjacent... even if the tepid storytelling fell short of the mark, as with all the DLC. I guess the Isu can't help but be harbingers of anemic boredom no matter their permutation. Though finished, I'm still doing a run here and there, as it might be... not only do I want to fill up that skill tree... well, I enjoy it. With a bit more fine tuning, and maybe a deepened focus on the true Creedage of yore, I may well indeed be up for a full-game experience of same, one they could give the ever so  effervescent name of Assassin's Creed Rogu--oh, wait. Its name of the "Forgotten Saga" is ill-judged, as this is way ahead of the curve in a series full of infinitely more forgettable cruft.
