Music While Gaming On Console

Mostly no. If its something that allows you to use your own music via the console such as Burnout Paradise I rather listen to my own music. Or for repetitive grinding. Who wants to hear the same annoying music over and over? Other than that, I rather actually listen to the the game while playing. Thats what its there for.

Yes sometimes, listening to Cheerleader while playing Bloodborne is surprsing enjoyable ahaha, and usually external and sometimes spotify

I synched my PS4 to my PC, so I just use the PS4 Media Player to play the tracks that are on my PC.

I just use Media Player when I'm just Grinding, or playing some online matches casually

I just put on music when i'm playing MP sometimes, or playing a game i've played before.

It depends on the game and the soundtrack - I'll always listen to the in-game music the first time I'm playing it, but if I have to grind, it requires multiple playthroughs and/or the music isn't my cup of tea then I'll either make my way through my Youtube subscriptions, find a twitch stream or burn through a lot of 8tracks playlists while playing. It's always nice to have something on the background when doing the same thing over and over again

I can't play a game if I'm listening to something else. Well, the only exceptions are:

- games with hours and hours of grinding (Star Ocean TLH for example; Diablo III definitely NOT - gotta love those screams)

- NIS games (let's face it, their OSTs are goddamn awful)

I listen to music through the spotify, but just listen to games I have played several times!

On multiplayer? never! the concentration has to be maximum..

if i'm grinding for a tedious trophy then i will listen to my music just to keep my sanity a bit

I usually just clip my Shuffle onto my shirt and use that. Not very often, though. If I'm grinding or don't like the game's music, yes. Otherwise, no.

I listen to music on youtube or put the radio on in the background with my headphones on if I'm playing a game like FIFA that doesn't require much attention or need to watch a story. I also do it while grinding a trophy to help pass the time

I play music from my laptop and play without a headset if I have to grind / don't have to focus on anything. When I play multiplayers, I have my headset on but I might still have music on in the background. It depends though.
