Ah, the days I used to play this game collection with my friend (and later, with siblings). Playing the classic games in co-op or facing each other in Vs mode. Oh, and can't forget about the extras either. Reading the first issue of the comic, watching videos... Those were the good old days.

Uncharted 4 Remix - Nate's Theme 4.0 Epic Orchestra Music (Main Theme)

 

Might be quite a common one, but I've always loved Nate's Theme from the Uncharted series.

This Orchestral version makes it feel more dramatic for sure.

Seaside Hill for me is a perfect opening stage for a Sonic game, and the theme does so much to convey the vibe for the game. The guitars, the surf rock vibe, the drums and synth, and such a brilliant bassline.

Having finished playing this game again, I honestly think it's a shame the level didn't make it to the final version. The song actually sounds beautiful.

 

Also, this was one of the first few channels I discovered back in the day, as I always used to visit it and listen to these songs. I still do that, but not as frequently. I also wouldn't have known about his untimely passing if it wasn't for a video I saw a long time ago. Rip, sonicKai.

Recently played Sonic Frontiers and thought the OST was excellent and boasts a fairly wide range of genres. I think it deserves to be up there with the many great soundtracks the series has produced. Surprised that Crush 40 didn't feature as they've been such a staple for 3D Sonic games, but appears Jun Senoue had limited involvement only on the recording side of things. Then again they went with more aggressive vocals which suited the boss fights really well, so Johnny Gioeli's 80's metal vocal style may not have been as effective (no disrespect to Gioeli, he's an outstanding and very underrated vocalist).
