PSNP Interviews Dragon-Archon!

Awesome interview! I'm glad my question was answered.

Also...

The Weather: The Netherlands has its own rain magnet, which we call “The United Kingdom”. Seriously, most of the rain gets dumped there (it’s a miracle the UK hasn’t sunk into the ocean yet), leaving all the sunshine for us

This is so true unfortunately...

  • With an army of dragons I could realize my dream of world domination and make it a paradise for gamers, anime lovers, music lovers, and rap haters  :awesome:

You have my vote!

I’d be able to learn Fire Dragon-slaying magic from them, wear a dandy scarf made from white dragon scales, change my hair colour to pink, and join the wizard guild ‘Fairy Tail’. Then I’d be able to eat fire. Now I only need to find a cat, name him ‘Happy’, paint his fur blue, let it grow wings, and teach him to walk on 2 legs and to talk.

You, sir, are awesome.

Funny thing is, I was in Ireland and England last month for a week and it was pretty much as sunny as it usually is here, in Portugal (and we're known for our sunny weather!). Only time we've ever caught rain was when we were in the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge in Northern Ireland and it was only for about 10 minutes. Afterwards, it was just as sunny as before. And curiously enough, as soon as we got in the plane back home, rain clouds started gathering...

Bloody hell, no wonder it took you guys so long to put that together. lol1-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862512 I think I would've only put about 10% of the effort in all those answers if that was me. :P

Very informative though, I noticed a lot of your answers were very similar (or the same) as what I would've said. We aren't related or anything, are we? The current avatar I'm using does have Dragon blood flowing through him. :P

This was quite a great read, I especially loved the parts about the guide team (all 100% accurate information) :P

I loved how ridiculously detailed the response was to "Favorite Pokemon?" xD

Also, Mirror's Edge for life!  :highfive:

So worth the wait (though I did really want your answers to all my questions, aww). Now I can die happy know our future is going to be just fine after Dragon-Archon takes over the world. I think we need more rounds of "PSNP Interviews Dragon-Archon!" though - there are still plenty of important questions which that brain needs to tackle and give insightful and entirely accurate answers to.

Great read overall ^^ as someone from the UK, who lived in the Netherlands for 6 months, you're lucky it doesn't rain as much as it does over here, otherwise your low lying country would be underwater : P

Looks at list of friends, didn't think I'd be there. Looks at list of people you'd like to know better. Also not there. Nooooooo. I want to be friends with everyone!

Seriously though, I was like, what's taking him so long? And I can see it was worth the wait. Very good ^^ I just wonder who's next to be interviewed.

Such a great read, it really does help a lot of us see the man that has become the legend known as dragon-archon :)

Thank you dragon for such in depth answers to some amazing questions :) and also thank you Parker for bringing this back an asking such an awesome guy to answer the questions :D

9. Worst game you've ever played?

I guess that award goes to Super Rub A Dub. It’s a game where you play as a yellow toy duck and have to avoid the sharks, collect other ducks, and safely escort them to the drainage without falling out of the bathtub. You can also play as a shark and try to eat as many ducks as fast as possible. It’s such a boring game and the only reason I played it is because I got a redeemable code for it when I bought the PS3 Slim. Deleted it the same day from the HDD.

:jaymon: YOU MEAN BUBBERDUCKY!?! Was it really that bad? xD

I can post it if you like, but it's in Dutch. Although I could translate it, it's a few pages long .

Since Shepard is based on a dutch model, i always kind of saw him as a dutchie anyway. Although it's good they didn't ask the model to act as a voice actor, i don't think anyone could bear listening an entire game to that horrible English accent that the dutchies have  :awesome:

Awesome interview! I'm glad my question was answered.

Thnx :D.

If it's any consolation: we're very grateful for your role as Rain Magnet ;).

You have my vote!

You, sir, are awesome.

Sweet, thnx :D.

Oh god. I didn't expect this to be so long when I read it. Glad I did read though!

I take it you've never read any of my guides before :P.

You weren't kidding when you said you were writing a novel! Great read though, looking forward to the sequel  :giggle:

Yeah, thnx :D. Well I first want to know how well the first volume sells before starting on the sequel. That movie Prinny is directing should also help with the sales, so a sequel is very likely.

I have a couple of things to say, the first is a question. If you met some of our fellow members in real life would you tell them your name or would you all speak in PSNP language? The second part is: Biker Mice from Mars was amazing!!!!!!!

To be honest, I hadn't thought of that :hmm:. I guess we could wear name tags with the usernames and tell the real names too.

Yeah I agree :highfive:.

Why do I have this sudden urge to want to have dragons?

This was a very mooi read  :yay:

Because dragons are amazing  :pimp: .

Parker chose the questions, which other ones did you ask? Thnx, it's good to see that many people would be ok with it if I took over the world :awesome:.

Lol, well xZoneHunter did ask about a sequel. Which questions do you have in mind?

This was an excellent read.

Thnx :D.

Thnx bud, glad you liked it :D.

You're welcome.

LMAO, yeah most Dutchies have a horrible accent. Luckily, I'm not one of them :D. Can't do a British accent either, but I passed as an American student more than once B).

I know, just stating I wanted to know what you would have answered on each one :P I'm just overall happy two of mine made it in (including the question I most wanted you to answer - the one about your most fulfilling solo guide/collaboration experience).

These were the other questions:

Have you given up on any trophy guides (for any reason) that you wish you had gone ahead and written?

Are there any trophy guides you are personally surprised to not yet see written on PSNP?

Your 50th and 100th Platinums - did you decide on your choices for them early on (meaning you started working on other games in order to get these specific games as the milestones) or did they come more naturally to be the milestone games?

What got you interested in trophy hunting and what got you interested in helping others by writing trophy guides?

Look back at the past year - what has been your favourite gaming moment (it can be something you personally experienced such as while playing a game, something you saw such as a game reveal/trailer/gameplay video/etc, or something else entirely)?

Lol, that's so true. The reason it's called The Netherlands is because our country is below the sea level. We Dutch are proud of the fact that we claim a part of the ocean, put dykes around it, drain it, and call it land . If those dykes ever break, half the country will become Atlantis.

If you want to be added on the list, you must join the weekly forum games drinking night more often ;).

:jaymon: YOU MEAN BUBBERDUCKY!?! Was it really that bad? xD

Take a look for yourself:

I forgot this game only uses the sixaxis move controls, which makes it even worse.

Good to know more about you sir!

You're welcome :highfive:.

These were the other questions:

  1. Have you given up on any trophy guides (for any reason) that you wish you had gone ahead and written?
  2. Are there any trophy guides you are personally surprised to not yet see written on PSNP?
  3. Your 50th and 100th Platinums - did you decide on your choices for them early on (meaning you started working on other games in order to get these specific games as the milestones) or did they come more naturally to be the milestone games?
  4. What got you interested in trophy hunting and what got you interested in helping others by writing trophy guides?
  5. Look back at the past year - what has been your favourite gaming moment (it can be something you personally experienced such as while playing a game, something you saw such as a game reveal/trailer/gameplay video/etc, or something else entirely)?

Lol, ok.

Here are the answers to those other questions:

  1. I once started a Mass Effect 2 guide and noticed afterwards PSNP already had one . Wanted to move on to Mass Effect 3, but the entire trilogy already had a guide.
  2. I was surpised some Ratchet & Clank games had no guide.
  3. Once I found this site and its milestones, I saved Mass Effect and Persona 4 Golden for plat #50 and #100. For #100 I had no idea which gam to use. P4G was supposed to become plat #88 or something like that, but I really liked the story and the characters and saved it.
  4. I believe Prince of Persia 2008 is the first game I played with that had trophies. At first I thought "what the hell, what just happened". After finding out about the trophies, I wanted to collect them all. I always try to collect and explore everything in all the other games before the trophy support. For example I got all the orbs in the Jak games, all skill points in Ratchet & Clank, etc. So collecting all the trophies was just the next step. As for the guides, I've always wanted to try it but didn't, because I had zero experience and .org would just lock it once a pro wrote one. Seemed like such a waste of time and effort.
  5. Hmm, I guess it's the Overlord 3 Fellowship of Evil reveal. Overlord is one of my favourite PS3 series, where you have to be evil in a funny way. It started out as a Lord of the Rings parody, where the Overlord (Sauron) has to beat the fellowship that killed the previous Overlord. In Overlord 2, you play as the son of the main character from the first game. I really wanted a sequel and now my wish has been granted :D

Here's a trailer from Overlord 2 that always made me laugh:
