Hey all,

 

I may have a potential strategy to get the opponent to join forces. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but I noticed an increased amount of times the opponent joined forces by using this strategy. What I did was simple: I used joint attacks for all 4 party members (I used Volley of Flame). Prior to this strategy, I just defended with all players, but it would not trigger the opponent joining forces. By using the joint attack strategy, the enemy joined forces an average of 2-3 times on each raid (I played on Fanatical Difficulty). The game counts progress if the opponent joined forces in battle (it doesn't matter how many join forces) and you killed them, NOT how many oni you killed attempting to join. If anyone can try this strategy and see if it works for you please post below and confirm! Hope this helps!

Will try this method. I say that because everyone I have is OP at the moment.

Ive noticed an increase but it isnt 100%. The enemies still do it randomly or just attack and buff each other. 

 

An easy way to stop it aside from killing everyone is just using lullaby or the confusion spell. It is helpful when they beat you to the joint spell.
