I've had all the 'main' consoles/handheld since SNES/Megadrive and Game Boy (thought I had to get rid of a few of 'em) but the 360 is the only one that ever broke. Replaced that damn thing 3 times before I just gave up with it. Wasn't worth the hassle just to occasionally play Viva Pinata and Halo.

Zero, I try to keep them clean and use them from time to time to see if they keep working. I only have one problem with my DS and PS3 but they still work perfectly

SNES, PS3, PS4, Switch. (I sold my Wii and Vita to get the Switch, Wii hadn't been used in months (and before then only to get Netflix in the living room but we have a smart-tv now) and I figured I'd stop using the Vita once I had a Switch)

 

SNES, PS3 and PS4 are all hooked up to the television in the mancave. The dock of the Switch is hooked up to the television in the living room.

 

Technically no consoles "died" on me but the reset buttons of both my N64 and GameCube eventually got stuck, became a bit annoying. Eventually the N64 refused to actually start games more and more, what a test on my lungs that was...

In my lifetime I have owned every console ever made since the Atari 2600. Growing up tho I would sell my systems as new ones game out... I was young and foolish. I am currently trying to acquire a Turbografx 16... that system is probably my favorite system from my childhood.

 

My living room has 3 TVs side by side... 55" 4K Sony Bravia X850 in the middle and 2 32" tvs on each side of it. All 3 PS4s and all 3 PS3s are set up on those tvs for easy self boosting of games. The wife absolutely hates it. I have about 2,000 games across all consoles but most of those are PS3,PS4 & Vita. I am a huge video game collector if you can't tell. I also have 4 guitars, 2 sets of drums, multiple microphones, all move accessories x4, a camera, 2 eye toys and the PSVR. I also have 14 PS3 controllers of every color (6 still never opened) and even a FFXIII LE (never opened) and 8 PS4 controllers of every color from the LE consoles and a COD BO3 edition & a 20th anniversary edition. I also have over 150 different collector's editions (I won't name them all lol).

 

I have had my FAT system get the YLOD and get repaired. I have owned a total of 7 PS4s since launch. I bought 2 at launch and would trade one in each time a new Limited Edition model would release. I recently sold my Batman Silver PS4 for $350 and the black PS4 I have now (that was an offer I couldn't refuse).

My family also has a Xbox 360 S and a Xbox One I play on too, but my brother plays much more than me on those.

 

Unfortunately, only my PS3 and PS2 since my apartment's TV only has two HDMIs, the other is reserved for my TV. As for the Gamecube, the Wii, the PSP and the PS1 they are all at my parents' house.

 

I remember breaking my DS Lite, two PS2 Slim and a PSP 3004. Oh and it seems that I broke my father's PS1 when I was young. Woops. It counts too.
