skidmarkgn
So... what the hell did Vince expect? "Hey, I know, we'll bring Brock out in his hometown where the Goldgerg chants will be absolutely overwhelming a-herp-a-derp". Hey Vince, now put Daniel Bryan in a feud as the supposed heel and bring him out in Seattle expecting a bunch of boo's too you dumbass. I love that that segment absolutely blew up in Vince's face.
jackmadrox
I feel like Vince would've learned by now it's extremely hard to control who the fans chant for and boo. Vince learn? That's a laugh. But that whole segment just boggles the mind, what the hell were they thinking? You wanted the people of Minnesota, Brock's home state, to boo Brock and cheer for Goldberg? Uh yeah, that isn't happening. Of course they'll cheer for Brock. Vince can't be that stupid, can he? Vince, hand over the reigns to someone else, please. You're drunk.

Vince, hand over the reigns to someone else, please. You're drunk. I was listening to Dave Meltzer as well and he brought up a good point. Brock vs Goldberg is going to be in Toronto. A) Brock lives in Canada now so there is a HUGE chance that the Canadian crowd is going to cheer for him B ) Brock has been tearing it up for the past couple of years and Goldberg has been gone...so chances are the Canadian crowd is going to cheer for Brock and C) Goldberg ended Bret's career...so the Canadian crowd is going to cheer Brock. There is NO WAY that Goldberg isn't going to get booed in Toronto over Brock
jackmadrox
And now I'm hearing more bullshit from last Monday's RAW, apparently WWE was confiscating Curtis Axel signs in the front row. They didn't say anything derogatory, just supporting Curtis Axel. I bet if they were signs supporting Roman Reigns they wouldn't get confiscated. Fuck you Vince. I hope your days of being in charge are almost over.
PREDRAG-K
Eh, decent PPV. They did a lot more in that Charlotte/Sasha match than I was expecting. I enjoyed the match. Still a shitty ending though. I don't really like how often the Women's Title is changing hands, and it's just going back and forth with Charlotte and Sasha. Yes I know it sets them as equals, but maybe it's time for another woman to step into the title picture? The only other highlight of the night was Jericho. He will never not be funny. Sasha and Charlotte was the match of the night in my opinion. They really tore it up and put on a great match. I just didn't like the end of it. I mean, it's Sasha's hometown, why not let her retain her title? Did anyone notice how quiet it was after the match was over? I couldn't decide if that was disappointment, or if it was a kind of shocked awe at what they had just seen. But I'm going to guess it was disappointment because everyone wanted Sasha to win. What is it with Vince and trying to make wrestlers look bad in their own hometowns?

Karnacharya
- The Goldberg bit was fine; I'm not a Goldberg fan, but I'm happy for the people that are. His match with Lesnar should be kept at about ten minutes though, or it's going to get pretty boring. - Nobody should let Reigns near a mic for a while. That "stupid idiot" costume crack made me cringe. His match with Jericho was a pretty solid TV match, though. - The Battle Royale wasn't bad. I really wanted Zayn to win though, because the man needs SOMETHING. Edited November 5, 2016 by darkamdusias

I'll say Cesaro/Neville need the push more, both were injured before yes but being in the company that long they really have nothing to show for it imo. Sami got on the scene not that long ago and while I agree he does need a push as well i'll put those two before him first.
SkyesUnholy
I'm literally just finding out about this now but on the 22nd of September, Ryback officially and legally changed his real first name from Ryan to Ryback, apparently so he can continue to use the name outside of WWE

The yellow brand desperately needs more star power at the moment, and these guys would help it a lot - also, Nakamura vs Cesaro has Match of the Year written all over it. On a side note this topic is pretty awesome. I re-visited the GameFAQs pro-wrestling board after being away for a few years and it reminded me of walking through a dumpster fire - flames and garbage posts everywhere.

That is why I always shook my head when you would see people crying "bring this guy up from NXT, bring Bailey up from NXT" Why? First off the only reason NXT is any good is because it had the best wrestlers on it. If you bring them all up then NXT stops being the "must see show". Second if you bring everyone up they just get lost in the shuffle (Crews, Bailey, Tyler Breeze etc). So yeah they need people down there and guys like Cesaro, Zayn, Crews or Neville would be ideal since they aren't really doing that much on the main roster.
Karnacharya
Well, at the very least, a Bayley vs Flair feud seems to be planned, so that might be pretty cool. That said though, all the women should have just been on one brand. Edited November 5, 2016 by darkamdusias

Yeah, it's kind of funny how Vince just doesn't learn from his mistakes anymore. We only really need one set of WWE, Women's and Tag Team champions. Having two sets of each dilutes the championships, and makes it hard for the two vrands to differentiate themselves from each other.

Karnacharya
The fact they don't seem to use Neville AT ALL is a bit disturbing. Vince seems to have a really hard time getting behind foreign-born talent or non-white wrestlers (with certain exceptions like Reigns, Lashley, etc.); I'm not saying that he's racist, but...actually, wait, I am saying that he's racist. Or maybe it's because Neville has the charisma of a wet rag? Don't get me wrong, he's very talented in the ring. But we live in an era where half of the indie wrestlers that WWE signs can do pretty much the same thing that Neville does. Hell, most of the cruiserweights in the CwC were doing stuff more impressive than him. Trying to say that Vince is racist for not pushing foreign/non white talent is silly. How far did he go with The Rock? How about Roman Reigns? How many times has he tried to push Sheamus? How hard did he try to push Great Khali? What about New Day? Or Sasha Banks? And just wait until Nakamura gets to the main roster. If you can connect with the crowd one way or another and prove that you can make him money, Vince doesn't give a fuck where you're from. Frankly, given the sheer amount of non-white wrestlers that have worked for Vince, the percentage of names you've listed is pretty small. Reigns, Sheamus, and The Rock are valid examples, but The New Day and Sasha Banks got themselves over - largely without help from Vince. Furthermore former talent Gail Kim, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio Jr., etc.) have all talked about how hard it is to get Vince to take you seriously if you're not white. The obvious exception to this seems to be Samoan wrestlers (Rikishi, The Rock, Reigns, etc.) as Vince has a long relationship with that family, dating back to when his Dad ran the WWWF. I would say that Gail Kim has that claim. Not sure what the fuck Rey would be talking about. He was one of the biggest stars they had. So much so that they basically wouldn't let him out of his contract early, because he was a huge merch mover. Del Rio was another that Vince tried to push multiple times, but every time he tried Del Rio went into "I don't give a fuck" mode. If Vince was really a racist, he would've had New Day buried for trying to get themselves over. Yet they get 20 minutes of promo time every week, they have their own freaking cereal, and Xavier Woods runs his own kayfabe breaking Youtube show. Sasha Banks isn't getting the Alicia Fox or Summer Rae treatment because she's black and got over. She's one of the most protected superstars on the roster. Even though Charlotte is currently champ, Sasha is being pushed as the face of the Women's division. I will agree that back in the day it was difficult for them. But now that they keep pushing WWE as a global brand, I don't think so. The whole reason Khali was around so long is because he connected with the Indian audiences so well. They are actually going out of their way to get stars from all these different ethnicities, just so they can expand the WWE name in those places. They just signed the Bollywood Boys to NXT. Obviously Nakamura, Asuka, and Hitami are there. They just signed Akira Tozawa. We have Finn Balor, Cesaro, Rusev, and Sheamus on the main Roster. They tried pushing the Lucha Dragons, then Kalisto. Just signed Lince Dorado. Andrade Almas is big on NXT. You get the idea, WWE is way more diverse now than it has ever been. No, not all of them are going to reach John Cena levels. Do some deserve a bigger push? Absolutely. But it's hardly about race at this point. They'll give anyone a chance, if you can prove that you're actually a star. Gail was around when the entire women's division was irrelevant. Del Rio got pushed to the moon more than once and the crowd rejected him. Rey's opinion is the only semi-respectable one. The list of non-white/foreign main eventers is just fine. Edited November 13, 2016 by skidmarkgn

Trini
Just to throw that out there Neville was scheduled to win the intercontinental championship at Wrestlemania earlier this year but his injury prevented him from doing so sadly. Sometimes it's not the wrestlers fault that they don't give them the opportunity to shine on the mic. New day is the biggest example, when they first took off as a unit everyone hated them because they were had no type of charisma and their gimmick sucked, give them a mic now and they entertain millions despite their tiresome act now. All I'm saying is wrestling would be so much better if the wrestlers had some type of control of their characters instead of a script of nonsense, we would have better storylines between wrestlers and hell we might actually be invested in it for once. Cesaro, Neville, Crews (just to name a few) might not be bursting with charisma but they are incredible performers and if Vince (Or someone else since Vince can messed shit up at times) can't at least find a way to invest into them and improve their characters then why waste their time at all?
