The problem with PS2 remasters these days is that lots of them don't have platinums .....and yes I do enjoy a game more if it has an obtainable platinum.

 

But here is my list of a few games i enjoyed

I'm sure there's more... doubt I'll get some of those due to licensing, but I really want Crimson Sea 2. It's a PS2 Classic already, so surely there wouldn't be an issue. Really want to play that with trophies.

Whoa whoa... what?! LINK?!

 

I wouldn't at all say that though, especially given if the tweets were recent. Decisions like this would take time to make. If Jak X didn't deceivingly score so low in the past, it likely would have had a remaster, definitely a port, back in the PS3 generation. I will say this however, Jak X would gain a shit-load of benefits if remastered on the PS4. PS3 would have made it great to, but PS4? (Way better.) 

 

I spoke with Naughty Dog years ago on Facebook asking about the remastering of the game and the PERSON I spoke with said it had never come across their mind to do so, which is thus suppose to mean they never considered it, which I guess hence why it never was in the remastered collection. (They were quick to however make it public BEFORE release why Golden Abyss wouldn't be in the Uncharted Collection.) Developers, including ND especially, lie all the time and contradict themselves, so im not fully into that statement that I got. But them again, they weren't the ones who actively seeked out to get the trilogy remastered, Mass Media contacted them (and ND barely supported them. HIG got more support with The Lost Frontier from ND than MM got from ND with the Trilogy Collection).

 

(And) Whether or not Neil Drunkman was kidding, he said his favorite game he worked on was Jak X (when he was asked what it was between the Uncharteds 1-3 and The Last of Us). Part of that statement makes sense, for certain reasons (his role and status in the industry at the time), and then some of it doesn't when you consider that easter egg and trophy reference of Jak X in Left Behind. However, I can't exactly blame him there since I don't know who came up with that decision directly to put that into LB.

Kya: Dark Lineage please! 3D Platformers seem to be coming back, and Kya was a fun one that was criminally neglected. Plus, it's colorful, cartoony visuals have helped it age rather nicely...especially compared to other PS2 titles.

My list of PS2 Games that should come to PS4:

 

• Jak X: Combat Racing 
• Sonic Riders and Sonic Riders Zero Gravity (Dual Collection) 
• Jak X: Combat Racing
• Dragon Ball Tenkaichi 1, 2, and 3, or 2 and 3 
• Jak X: Combat Racing
• Sonic Heroes (NA doesn't have it, EU/UK does though)
• Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier

 

And especially Jak X: Combat Racing among all. (Didn't play too many PS2 games growing up, and I can't recommend the 2D Naruto games just because I had fun with them. They would seem redundant given the advanced series.)

Chaos Legion, God Hand and all Persona series.

 

I grew a bit of interest for the Persona series over the time so I too want to see Persona 3 making its way to the PS4! although can you tell me if their stories are related between 1, 2, 4 and 5 or is it like the Final Fantasy/Tales of series were each installment has its own unique story (except for some exceptions here and there)?
