How To Beat Dragon King In IF7

Another major problem on your way to Amon, is "Dragon King". Minamida mentions that he is the greatest opponent you'll face. Upon entering the battle, you'll find yourself fighting against yourself, Kazuma Kiryu. Dragon King does not lose stamina (health) easily so you need a simple but efficient method to defeat him. You should worry about those things

-His massive health bar

-His powerful blow attacks (May reduce your health to half)

-Time Limit(Which will be your greatest opponent in this fight)

Okay, so to defeat Dragon King easily, once the fight begins press in succession , , to hopefully throw him down.

IF HE FALLS: Press once again to reduce his health even more. Once he gets back on his feet, rinse and repeat

IF HE DOESN'T FALL: If Dragon King block your attack, stop! Probably he'll start hitting you again. You need to counter his attacks so you can attack again. Press + and that should do it.

 

You should reach the cutcene where you have to press some button in order to reduce "Kiryu"'s stamina (health) with 50-60 seconds left. Then it's up to you to defeat him before time runs out.

Just run away to bait him into attacking you then tiger drop him. Rinse repeat. Easy fight.

Pretty much the answer to any 'how to beat' in any Kiryu starring Yakuza game is Tiger Drop ?

 

There's obviously exceptions (characters who can't use it, it's efficacy is reduced in 6 but there are no 'hard' battles in 6 anyway) but otherwise there's rarely a problem that can't be tiger dropped out of
