Game breaking glitch

I've only found 1 other person on the web talking about this so it's probably very rare but still, a heads up for anyone currently playing.

 

When you reach 'Sewage repurposing' in the 'Processing' section of the world you're gonna be tasked with 'Proceed to the industrial zone'. You're gonna need to fight through multiple levels of those insect enemies.

 

 

 

I passed the objective marker which is right on top of the bug section  and then my game saved at a nearby save pod. When I died I respawned at the save pod but the objective was still 'Proceed to the industrial zone', and when I reach the objective nothing happens, so I'm gonna have to start over.
