Question about Boreas discoverer

Recommended Posts

Let's see what's out there. Set foot on every island of Boreas.

So the trophy description is a bit misleading for me. Do they just mean that you have to reach every level (Nexus, rabbit village, sky fleet, mountains, desert etc.) at least once or do they mean all those small islands in the levels, meaning you have to travel all available paths that you can reach via the various swords and explore them to the fullest?

I'm only asking because I read on Steam that several progression-based achievements are/were bugged.

EDIT: I may add that I haven't done any path yet that starts with acquiring the armature (second option on first decision). If this option leads to a new area, I may be fine, or?

Just reach every level; you don't need to touch every island (that would be a pain, considering how many alternate paths are scattered everywhere!).

It unlocked for me during one of the armature thingie playthroughs, after finishing the stage. It unlocks upon finishing every unique level at least once, it seems.

There's definitely at least one unique stage when looking for either the armature or the Iblis stone that you don't encounter when you ignore those two paths, but by the time you unlock the "True Hero" ending, you should have this trophy already.

Thank you for the fast reply. I already wondered if it had bugged on me but when there's another level than I'm glad. :)

And you can actually reach the True Hero-ending without going the armature path. The endings starting from Lapinos rescue lead up to three different truths. Only the Iblis-stone is linked to it's own path.

Seems bugged indeed. I just finished all 24 stories without getting this trophy.

Huh. So it is bugged in some circumstances...

I also see you don't have the trophy that comes with getting everything in the skill tree.... Now I'm a bit horrified over how many playthroughs that's going to take....

That's sad to hear. At least it's a rather easy earnable trophy as you only have to play of the three primary branches first.

Additionally you may also send the developers a tweet and tell them about the problem. They said that they will release a patch for the PSN-version:

Popped to me at 1/4 of the game. If you have already done every possible storypath, try to delete the game and, keeping your savefiles, play through a couple of Stories that covers every level.
BTW you do NOT need to visit every little piece of the map, just every type of level (like the first one where Lapino is, the Caverns, the Temple etc)

Yes, the trophy is still bugged, and no one knows exactly what causes it or how to fix it. For me, it popped (2 days ago) early-on in my 23rd story, after doing the desert section (to get the Iblis Stone) for at least the 6th or 7th time.

Did you re-do story or just keep playing on same save file ?

Guys please help me!

I've complete this game two times, deleted saves and reinstalled the game but trophy doesn't pop yet, what can i do?

Ouch!! That 97% would annoy me. I'm afraid I can't be of much help. According to the dev's facebook page they are currently working on a patch for the game that will hopefully be released later this year.

They don't mention if the patch will fix the trophy bug though. They also mention that they are a small indie studio so most of their resources are going towards their next game so the patch isn't really a top priority.

My only other suggestion is to start a new game again, focus on the stories that bring you to all 9 locations, ensure you also pass through all gates in these locations (somebody mentioned this might pop the trophy) before playing the TRUE ending. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. :(

I've already complete stories from 1 to 24 in numerical order, now i'll play random stories until trophy pop if there is no other solution :(
