I don't really like consoles with flashy colors, as I don't want anything in my line of sight distracting me when I'm watching TV or gaming. I like getting the "original" model, not to mention it's the best color to prevent the yellowing effect. I don't have a PS4 yet (and at this point, I'll wait for the NEO), but when I get one, it'll also be black.
