DorianSpace
Hi all I'm pretty interested in getting this game this week, but before I do so I wish to ask you people; are most of the trophies managable and doable in solo? Or it's very difficult and therefore need online players all the time for the trophies? I'm asking because on the guide it said it is mainly a co-op game and it has only 2 online trophies. Anyone can confirme to me? Thank you
SnowxSakura
No it can't. Trophies like short fuse need at least 3 people. You also need another player to catch a bag mid-air for "I got it, I got it." Edited June 1, 2016 by SnowxSakura
Saionji
You also need another player to catch a bag mid-air for "I got it, I got it." I did it solo right at the start in tutorial just look up throw it and mash R2 when it falls to catch it.

ilumixZ
I got every trophy solo except for "short fuse" and "You shall not pass" Although it is recommended to play with other players to make things easier.

Popular Post ihadalifeb4this
Hi all I'm pretty interested in getting this game this week, but before I do so I wish to ask you people; are most of the trophies managable and doable in solo? Or it's very difficult and therefore need online players all the time for the trophies? I'm asking because on the guide it said it is mainly a co-op game and it has only 2 online trophies. Anyone can confirme to me? Thank you I just want to say that I don't completly agree with ReimiSaionj about Guessing Game. Yes, getting two right boxes is luck based, but in my opinion the biggest problem is that people struggle with concept of stealth in this game. Part because game doesn't explain it and part because people that write guides didn't really master stealth themself so tips they give you are not very good starting point. Here are some basics to save you some time. Detection risk: When you pick your guns and armour you will see detection risk in bottom right corner. The lower the number the closer you can be to guards and cameras without getting spotted. To get it to minimum of 3 you will need two piece suite, two guns with concealment 27, or higher ( you will have to mod them ) and you will have to unlock 4th tire of ghost tree to get concealment bonus. Skills: Set up for optimal performance changes from job to job, but this are needed for most. Aced cable guy, basic dominator (won't hurt if it's aced, but it's not must) and basic smooth talker from mastermind skill tree. From ghost skill tree you need aced cleaner, aced fast hands, aced shinobi, aced ecm specialist and aced ecm overdrive. And last aced transporter from enforcer tree. Few tips for solo 2nd day of Firestarter: Avoid shooting guards and cameras. Guards can report broken camera and if you kill guard body can be spotted by camera, or other guard. Even if you hide body game will send more guards from elevator. If you have to kill guard still try to be 10 meters away from him before you take the shot. if you're not detected one bullet will kill him. it doesn't matter if you shoot head, or foot as long as guard isn't alerted. If there's camera outside back door looking at it stand under camera and shoot the lock with silenced pistol. If your detection is low you will have no problem getting in and out without shooting the camera. Use glass wall at back room to your advantage. Pay attention to catwallk on 2nd floor to avoid running into gurd on stairway. Guards can see open box from big distance even if your detection is low make sure there's no guards looking at box when you're cutting wire. Make sure you close it when you are done. Cameras will also spot open box. In locked office on 2nd floor sometime safe will spawn. If you have lockpicking expert (high in ghost tree) aced you can take keycard from it to open 2nd door of server room and save your jammer for escape. Lockpicking aced is pretty much must for stealthing this solo. If server room spawns on 2nd floor guards can pass by server room door and report server was taken. My advice try to get to catwalk over loby. Put server down (make sure there's no camera, or gurd) and place jammer. Then pick up server, throw it down in lobby, jump down, pick up server, shoot glass and go to the van. Fully upgraded jammer should block all cameras and gurds on map from raising alarm for 30 seconds after you place it. That's enough time to get to van from lobby. I never had guard raise alarm when server room spawned on 1st floor. Online you will find posts that explain how to increase your chance to find wires you have to cut. I did Guessing Game around 15 times and all theories I saw online didn't help at all. That' part is random and it's pure luck will you find right box, or not.

Andrea
If you have a PC I would strongly recommend buying this game on there (unless you're just in it for the platinum.) The PC version is still being supported to this day with paid and free updates, with plans to continue until at least the end of 2017. You can also find it on steam sales quite regularly for 50-75% off. I don't recall exactly when support stopped for PS3 edition but know that the console versions of this game have been maligned for their lack of updates. Also, planning to play it solo is really not maximizing what you can get out of the game. The bots are rubbish and without teammates and coordination it is a pretty mediocre shooter. Given the lack of trophies that require you to play on the highest difficulty, I would say nearly all of them are attainable alone. Level 1-100 will be a hideous grind without playing maps on Overkill difficulty however, so keep that in mind.
DEYBAJ
Hey I can confirm that all the trophies can be obtained solo expect one called short fuse were you need at least 3 to 4 player To help you out with that

Unfortunately for this to work though, you need some serious RNG. Here's a video of someone solo'ing it. It is possible, I pulled it off once (took like 3 days of constantly restarting) but then panicked and missed the helicopter. I ended up getting it as a duo as you only need the first briefcase to be empty for that to work. With that said, that pretty much makes the plat entirely soloable!
