Euro 2016

honestly, now after reading some of the reports...players were quite shaken from the whole thing, perišić said that the last 10 minutes he didn't feel like he was even playing, he didn't see the point, others didn't really want to comment on the thing with hooligans but they said that it's hard to get back into the game with the same attitude and will and tbh that is probably what happened with Vida, he jumped and forgot where his arms should be
and I read what could happen to us and none of it is pretty, we might get disqualified from EURO, we might lose a point (the best option) or we might get kicked from world cup qualifiers...
oh and they found facebook profiles and messages of people responsible for this whole mess, it was an organised thing that wanted to stop the game period not just for 5 minutes, they hid the flares and torches under the seats and we know exactly which seats and which row so there was an obvious (again) failure in security, it's kinda dumb to punish a nation just because of couple stupid fans but it's even worse when those weren't fans at all

I'm just sickened from all the problems these so called "fans" give us and disgusted with what happened today...also sorry for a long post eheh

Wouldn't doubt some of the players are just hiding behind the incident to excuse themselves from their piss-poor end-game performance, but that's just conjecture on my part.

I see where you're coming from regarding the punishment's "severity", given it's a handful of people fucking over a whole country, but that's the way things are. Liverpool fans were responsible for Heysel and the whole country paid the price (and I dare say it helped educate them in the long-run, though this year they seem to want to say otherwise), and it wouldn't be the first time a handful of fans harm a club as a whole. They've gotta do something to deter anyone from any similar actions from here on out though, so a penalty of sorts is to be expected.

Also, I'm really surprised this is happening in Europe. It tends to be, as far as football is concerned (and specially on the west-side of the continent), the educated side of the world. I'd expect that kind of crap from all those apes down in Argentina or other Latin American countries, but it never happens during any qualyfing matches, let alone the World Cup or even the Copa America. I certainly hope (and expect) the French security to try to step up their game to avoid any future incidents, but with the way things are with the new labor reform and the terrorist boogeyman I don't think it'll be enough.

unfortunately it's a big problem here with this kind of "fans", Bilić talked about it on british television, whenever there is a big game between Zagreb (Dinamo) and Split (Hajduk) you know there is going to be problems, people don't take children on those games etc.

and even out of games you can get beat up if you are fan of one of those clubs and you are in the other club's "turf", I remember like 5-6 years ago my parents had 4 of their car's tires blown (like with a knife or smth) because we were in Split and we had Zagreb's licence plates...it's horrible

but this is something different, especially if you know that we knew what was going to happen and when (we knew exactly which minute of the match) and told that to french security and officials but apparently they didn't take us seriously and now croatian football association and football team are going to pay...just a horrible horrible situation, I just want to imagine what would've happened if that wasn't a flare or a torch but a bomb and the security let it happen

EDIT: now they are saying they'll do it again in our match against Spain, the same page on facebook that posted the plan of this "terrorism" hour and a half before the match yesterday, posted this image today, with a message that there will be more of them this time

authorities didn't listen last time, I sure hope they'll listen this time and check under the seats, check everyone going in the stadium and make sure that that doesn't happen again, these are not our fans, these are sports "terrorists"

Ronaldo is shit atm. I'm disgusted by his passive gameplay.

If the coach had balls he wouldn't play again, all his team mates giving everything and he just stands still when loses the ball.

How could he be surprised the freekick header goal was off side? He was there way before the shot, what was he thinking?

Portugal don't have benzema, marcelo, sergio ramos, bale etc.. that's the difference why ronaldo fail too much !

We have a poor coach without balls!

Portugal can beat euro with this team:

Rui patricio, cedric, josé fonte, pepe, raphael guerreiro, william carvalho, adrien, joão mario, renato sanches, quaresma and ronaldo !

But this is me :)

Germany or france will win the euro !
