I'm late to ask but..

In the Knockout Stage, do you count the final time results?

I'm pretty sure it's the score after 90 mins, but we could do with a definitive answer on this just to clear up any potential confusion.

The final score, so if you think its going to be 2-1 and it finishes that score in extra time then you get the 3 points. If you think its gonna be a game that goes to penalties then you say 1-1 or something

Ok, thanks for the clarification. Might have to go back and rethink some of my predictions.

Croatia has many good players like rakitic, modric, mandzukic, srna ....but we have ricardo quaresma ! the gipsy king :D

Of course ! What else? Portugal keeps acumulating draws in the 90 minutes but in the end they alaways have the lucky charm to progress and if this continues maybe Portugal will reach the final  :awesome:

Problem with Croatia is that they always start strong each tournament and then in elimination, bam, they're out. Same happened back in 2008, had 3 wins in group. and then got eliminated by Turkey in quarterfinals.

Will see how Portugal plays next game... Ronaldo must wake up

Well if Poland only keep their eyes on Ronaldo and forget about Quaresma on the field , Quaresma will not forgive   Croatia payed the price unfortunately

You don't need to worry about our defence because Portugal has the worst defenders on a whole euro. Also I believe this'll be the easiest match for Poland.

Worst defenders ? You must not have seen how Pepe played and Ricardo Carvalho is like the sensei of the defense (38 years old) , he's like beast on the defense. Portugal might not been playing well but it got to be the luckiest team on the whole Euro. Passing with 3 draws on the group stage , the first team ever todo that in a Euro , getting in 3rd instead of 2nd cause Iceland won on the last minute against Austria and avoided England and ended playing with Croatia and this last game was so lucky for Portugal side  xD

He's resting for the finals , give the man a break .He just score 2 goals on the 3rd game of group stage so Portugal could continue on the tournament . In this match he wasn't really needed , the gipsy king , Quaresma , was summoned to achieve the victory.

Group stages had finished, Croatia set themselves as favourites and Portugal only did their job, beating them. The coach, Fernando Santos, is still tunning the team but we're definetly improving.

Ronaldo was also pretty good at defending today, well he only got one shot today so that explains it :P

I'd say that was true on the Hungary 3 - 3 Portugal match but this match against Croatia the defence was pretty damn good! We didn't see a single dangerous pass from Modric or Rakitic, we didn't see a dangerous shot by Perisic or Mandzukic, the defence was brilliant and Pepe was the best of the 4 defenders.

The most dangerous man from Croatia was Vida who shot 2 or 3 times really close to the goal, and he's a defender.

You know most European teams are falling short when the Colombia-US match is better than most matches in the Eurocup - and it was still rather awful.

And once again, Croatia shows they suck when they have to prove themselves, against another sucky teaml. It's quite sad to think that out of Italy, Germany and Spain, only one will reach the semi-finals yet Poland or Portugal will also be there. They've alll fallen short on at least one match so far, but at least they play organized and structured football - much more than anything any of the Ps can say.

Shame Ronaldo didn't score. Great thing Portugal's goal came off his shot. Yay for Croatia getting kicked. They seemed to start having an ego out of their win against Spain.

But if he wants 10 EURO goals, he better step up his game =D

Unless he plans to participate in EURO 2020 =D

We should thank a kid called Renato sanches! it was he who gave new soul to midfield !! our new "edgar davids" :D

Poland wasn't strong than croatia IMO ! but they have the second best striker in the world : robert lewandowski

I must admit Pepe is a good defender, however he plays too roughly for our style of play what works against his team and I believe this could be a key for this match.

Regarding Carvalho.. tell me why he didn't play in such a crutial match? :P  He has his best years behind him, so I think it won't be the best option to put him in the first team (don't forget how fast are our wingers especially Grosicki).
