Certified and Painted Item Info

Ok so there is a lot of questions and confusion with these 2 items in this recent update. Been looking into things and here's pretty much all the info I got.

As you all probably know right now, both items are completely random drops. There is no order of when you get them. I got my certified item before my painted.

 

So here's some stuff I've come across:

1:) There seems to be a 10 hour limit per-week for earning items which resets 7 days after your last item drop of that week. Unless you equip a new antenna each week to track the time spent there is no in-game timer to let you know how long you've played. This is frustrating as you don't really know if you have hit the "limit" or it's due to the rarity of the item drops.

"I used to get an item after each game, even if I won or lost" I hear you say.

Well, thats cause those items are common items. They hand them out like there's no tomorrow. If you stop getting items each match...then you are into the more rare items territory.

I am unaware if you can get a painted or certified COMMON item.....

 

2:) Both items will only drop in Public Online or Ranked. You cannot farm them in Private matches or Exhibition, unlike most other trophies.

 

3:) Certified items have 3 Ranks to get to Veteran. So lets get onto those.....

 

 

CERTIFIED ITEMS

 

Here is an example of a certified item:

 

Certified items come with requirements. These are little missions for you to do and can only be done ONLINE. Just as the drops, they cannot be done in Exhibition or Private.

There are ways to boost this online as I have seen some sessions, but that's left for you guys to sort out.

When you finally get one of these items, go into your garage and you can then see the requirement that item has for you to get to. You will see it here:

 

So here's some Requirements and how many you need for Veteran:

Requirement                       Amount Needed                                      How To

Centering:                                         200                     <Hit the ball in front of the other team's goal>
Clear Balls:                                        200                    <Hitting the ball out of the area around your goal>
Assists:                                              ???                    <Hit the ball with a teammate scoring on the next hit>
Shots on Goal:                                   200                   <Hitting the ball at your opponents goal>
Saves:                                                100                   <Blocking a ball from going in your goal>
Epic Saves:                                        100                   <Block the ball when part of it is in the goal>
Goals:                                                 100                  <Score.....>
Wins:                                                   50                     <....>
MVP:                                                    30                    <Be the highest scoring player>
Longshot Goals:                                 ???                   <Goals from your side of the field>
Backwards Goals:                               100                   <Score a goal while driving in reverse, or with your rear bumper>
Aerial Goals:                                       ???                   <Score from a hit above the height of the goal>
Juggles:                                              ???                   <Hit the ball multiple times in a row without it touching the ground>
Turtle Goals:                                       ???                   <Score from a hit while upside down>
Bicycle Goals:                                       50                   <Score with a Bicycle Hit>

 

Thats all I could find on them so far. If you have any that are not on this list then please let me know and I will add it here......or if you know the amount for the ??? items.

 

One last thing. It is possible to get more than 1 certified item. So if you are stuck with one you hate/cannot do, there is hope for you to get a different one.

Just pray you dont get one of the harder items.

 

PAINTED ITEMS

(There is no need to post a painted item example, as you unlock the trophy at the end screen before you even get the item, so you'd know if you got one.)

 

I have seen some people post that they have got a painted item through trading in other items.

To do this you: Go to GARAGE < MANAGE INVENTORY < SELECT 5 ITEMS < ACCEPT

 

Aside from that, as I said before.....it's totally random.

Been reading on some other sites that "random drops" happen on average once in every ten online games once you have unlocked the common items. Painted or certified item drop then may or may not happen in that 1/10 average. So lots of online games are certainly needed!

About the common certified items, I'm pretty sure that a common item becomes uncommon if it's certified. I've got the hard hat certified item. I'm pretty sure (not positive) that he hard hat topper is common, but the certified hard hat is uncommon.

The time is for actual matches or it also count if you start the game and leave it on the main menu or while searching for a match?

 

Finally got my first certificated item.

 

Its not the easiest stat to level up but I don't mind cause I really enjoy playing this game

I believe it is game time and not while you are in menus for example.

In that case its looking like 75 is the total assists needed for Veteran rank.

 

25 Capable

50 Skillful

75 Veteran

I played about 12 hours since the update and still no luck with the Certified, even though i got 2 Painted ones...

I played for the first time since the update and got a certified topper after about 8 games.  It is for longshot goals and after playing a few more games 1v1 only 1 of my 3 long goals counted.  Not entirely sure what is up with that, but I called it quits at that point.

Finally got a certified item after 30 hours of farming. You can still get items after 10 hours of active play per week -- anyone who says otherwise is wrong, even if they're the developer.

 

The item was for turtle goals (where you gotta score while upside down) -- got 100 of them in about 5 hours. Hope this is the last batch of DLC trophies for the game!

And i think i need to center 200 times, but they don't always register it.

Can it be you need to be in full matches ? That they not count when you enter a game that is already started.

if it doesnt count then you have to close the app and reboot the game, its a common glitch

So i had some troubles with the counter for my centering.

What i find out is it stopped permantly counting when i equipped my new painted item.

Several games and reboots later, i unequipped them and the counter works perfect.

 

Maybe for the people that have the same issue they can try this method if they installed painted item.

That didn't work for me. I played a long time to get this Certified (Goalkeeper), made about 15 saves and the game didn't count even one.

This didn't work for me. I've been trying for 3 hours to get mine to start tracking and I'm just giving up. I'll wait for a patch that fixes the issue.

I don't know if it helps or not but I got turtle goals and I always get backwards at the same time because I'm flipping over to hit the ball. May be worth tryingit out.
