I used the guide with the name platinum in 10 hours more or less... found that very helpful to complete the game...

A short glimpse over the other two written guides i suggest using the third text guide from your ist just because it seems to be more text aka more details on how to progress through the game

The Class doesn't matter and the level up is possible after the first boss (phalanx) and then you can go up to whatever level you want if you use the glitch to reproduce items :D

And the chains you mentioned are destroyables in the first tower you can go up and create something like a shortcut... when you see the big closed gate right at the start of the boletarian palace, look to the left and you see a smaller gate closed off. You need to open that gate to get a collectible (jade amulett i think it was) by attacking the chains on a balcony on some higher level in that tower

YEah i mean like there is a lot of stuff like this in the guid that i just dont know what they are. Could you look over the video guide as it might be same thing as the text but would be easier for me to use a video guide ???

Starter class doesn't really matter, but unless you are going for a luck build, you're better off with one that starts with little luck and has invested in things you want to upgrade. In other words, Royal for mage and Temple Knight for melee. The only thing it does is decide the stats you start out with. The 3rd guide listed earlier is okay, but it takes you through the game the hard way. If you pick male or female matters more, and it just decides if you can wear one of two armors or so. I like male, because then I can use the old king armor.

I've already told you that you can just play through the game, don't kill 1-4 boss and do everything you can. Don't kill any friendly NPCs except for Yurt (level 3-2), which you should kill, and then I can give you the few items you are likely to be locked out from. Worst case scenario, you gotta do a couple of things early in NG+.

If you really need a guide for this game, you don't when I give you the few stuff you can "miss", then I recommend the following:

If you want to do everything on your own, no help from me: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/demon-s-souls/70166-how-platinum-demons-souls-10-hours.html

If you just want to play through the game and enjoy, then follow my earlier tips and follow this: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/demon-s-souls/143019-basic-guide-demons-souls.html

^ I made that to post everything useful with as little reading required as possible, but you don't really need to play offline and world tendency stuff when I give you the stuff you can miss.

If you want an easy time for early part of the game, then I did write this: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/demon-s-souls/194358-demons-souls-platinum-made-easy-fast.html

^ But I never finished it, I probably should, but it's basically just how to beat the game easily (2/10 difficulty) step for step.

Anyway, you can find most info you need for the game here: http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/

but I've organized it all better in the basic guide to demon's souls guide. :P

I honestly wouldn't use any big "official" trophy guide anywhere.

I recommend something i did too: i changed the language of my console to english so that the game was fully translated and then it became somewhat easier to go through the level and look especially for the unique weapons which have sometimes different names in my own language (german)... (another good thing of this were the english subtitles which were activated, cuz i don't like playing games with english audio and german subtitles :SxD )

Im just getting mixed up with this whole World thing ? like 1-1 and 1-2 o 1-3 you know

If you look at the stones for each world, from left to right, world 1 to 5. World 1 is the first one you can enter. First level in first world is 1-1, second level in first world is 1-2 etc.

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/

That site will have you covered with all the details you will ever need. It's just a matter of extracting it. xD

If I or someone else help you with some items, you don't really need to care about tendency. If you want to do it on your own, then:

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/world-tendency  <--- there you can also see an image of the worlds and level numbering! :) World Tendency is also the reason why people tell you to play offline, but if you can get the items you may miss from messing up world tendency from someone online, then it doesn't really matter.

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/character-tendency

To learn all magic and miracles you need to save three mages:

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/freke

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/yuria

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/urbain

They can be killed by Yurt:

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/yurt

So kill him when you first meet him in 3-2.

If you mess up the mages part, you can do it in NG+ just fine. Pretty much everything, except some key items, carry over to NG+. Would take you like max an hour to get to any of them. For me it would take like 15-20 mins max.

The reason why I say don't kill 1-4 boss before you are ready for NG+ is because once you kill all the normal bosses you will be locked out from leveling up until you beat 1-1 in NG+, that's all. You need like 10 int and faith or something to learn all the magic and miracles.

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/ostrava

You need to get the key from him. If you miss it, you can get it in 1-1 in NG+. If you mess it up then, you can always start a new character, get the key from him in 1-1, dupe glitch level up and kill the old king in 1-1 that way. No biggie to miss really. Worst case scenario, you're looking at an hour of extra play.

The reason why I say not to follow any big trophy guides, then it is because they will tell you how to do everything the hard way. If you want to do it that way, fine. You can however mix, and I personally recommend just playing through the game, enjoy it and get the stuff you can't get to at the end of the game from someone online.  If you wanna do it the hard way, the game is like almost 4 playthroughs and a lot of grinding for certain upgrading stones. Using duping glitches will allow you to skip grinding, but you will still need to get all items (care about WT, world tendency, and CT, character tendency), and get to and do most of 1-3 in NG+ (learn one spell from Yuria). With online you can get everything you can miss except for freeing the mages and a key in NG. Yes, platinum the game when you finish the last boss. If you miss this one key, you can get it early in 1-1 in NG+ and kill the Old King then. If you mess up a mage, that shouldn't take you much time in NG+ to do either.

That's the short names of levels considering 1-1 first level or first archstone (boletarian palace)... 1-2 means second archstone after defeating first boss - there named Archstone of Phalanx... 1-3 is tower knight boss, 1-4 is the Penetrator etc. etc.

Wow you're really skillfull explaining

Good job! :D
