The game is free, you have a community where you are able to talk about the game if you have any queries. But back to the pokemon go point, for a normal league of real footballers etc, you are able to train them and buy on the transfer market. You can message players in game. But now the game have released a special league called the Pokemon league. The league contains teams named by all the types and the players have pokemon names. Cannot trade or buy players in the league and it's smart because then you can maintain the types in a team.
