So, about this trophy. Does this have to be done online, or could I just turn on a second controller and attempt it locally? I feel like this would be difficult to do online with people attacking you.

I would like to know the answer too. I tried to get this trophy today, but it's really hard when other people is using their power-ups.

I'm pretty certain that it can be done locally with a second controller.

Can confirm that you can use two controllers. It's still a pain to earn though.

 

Also should work fine if you have a Vita + one controller using a guest account.

Alright, thanks. It does seem like it's still a tough trophy, but without the pressure of outside forces, it seems more doable.

Also got it yesterday, and got the plat today.

I have to say that this trophy must be the platinum killer, which need luck and quick réactions. My time was 1.18

I've noticed that if you are playing online in either a single match or a cup, and the other player drops connection or leaves, you are granted a victory. If you are doing a normal race online against an opponent, and they leave the match for whatever reason, does the Speed. Precision. trophy pop as long as you haven't dropped any bricks?
