Update (November 9): with the LEGO Harry Potter Collection already released for PS4 last month, Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection is finally coming to current gen next week. Update (September 8): Thanks to snakebit10 for sharing the following Gamespot article, which confirms that the LEGO Harry Potter Collection is coming exclusively to PS4 on October 18 with a $50 price tag:
 
"The Lego Harry Potter games are being remastered in a new collection that will launch this October, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer TT Games announced today.

Included in the package, which is only being released on PlayStation 4, are remastered versions of Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 and Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7. There are "enhanced graphics," along with better lighting and visual effects.

No footage of the game has been released, but the key art is below.



The collection also comes with the Character Pack and the Spell Pack. The Character Pack adds 10 characters, including special variations on some characters like Hermione in a pink dress and Lockhart in a straightjacket.
 
The Spell Pack, meanwhile, adds these five spells for players to use: Cantis (makes you sing), Densaugeo (makes your teeth grow way too much), Ducklifors (turns you into a duck), Melofors (turns your head into a pumpkin), and Tentaclifors (turns your head into a tentacle).

As for why Warner Bros. is releasing this Lego Harry Potter package now, some five years after the release of Years 5-7, it may have something to do with the new movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Warner Bros. said the game, which comes out on October 18 for $50, "serves as a perfect gift" for people who are interested in seeing the movie..."

"According to a marketing image obtained by French site Gameblog, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, which was recently rated in Korea, will release in November 2016. Additionally, they have heard that the three included games – Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – will be remastered in 1080p/30 frames-per-second, complete with reworked textures.

Gameblog adds that The Ezio Collection will bundle in all previously released DLC, as well as two animated films based on Ezio (Lineage and Embers).
 
Amazon Italy backs up what Gameblog says, listing The Ezio Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a November 17 release date, priced at €50.82. The description says it includes Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, the games are “remastered for the first time on consoles,” all of the DLC is packed in, and there’s also two short films.

Ubisoft has yet to announce The Ezio Collection, but if it’s releasing in November, expect details soon."

Update (August 31):  Thanks to FlareXV we got some new information regarding the Ezio Collection:
 
"I was browsing NeoGAF and saw some promotional stuff about the Ezio collection. Apparently the collection is 1080p/30FPS with some work done to the textures, and will include the two animations about Ezio's life after and during the creed. This collection will also include all the DLC. The target release is around November time and the pricing will be around 70 euros."

According to a new rating by the Korean Game Rating Board, an Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Judging from the title, the Ezio Collection should bundle together Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
 
Ubisoft hasn’t said anything about the Ezio Collection yet, but with no new Assassin’s Creed game this year and the movie in theaters this December, it would make sense for something Assassin’s Creed-related to come out this holiday. If/when Ubisoft confirms this new collection, we’ll let you know.
 
In other ratings news, a LEGO Harry Potter Collection was rated in Brazil for PlayStation 4, though the listing has since been removed. If the rating proves to be true, expect the Harry Potter Collection to include LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7.

As much as I liked the Ezio games, I still haven't played Unity or Syndicate yet, so I have enough AC stuff to keep me busy in the future, and I doubt I'd replay them.

 

But my girlfriend LOVED the Lego Harry Potters.  I'd probably wait for some kind of significant sale on that bundle, and then pick them up and replay them with her.

Yeah, since I played the original AC without trophy support, I'd be a lot more likely to pick up a remaster of the original with trophies.  That's the one AC game I'd probably rebuy and replay.

Assassin's Creed II was the best in the series and Brotherhood was better than expected. I haven't played Unity or Syndicate though.

Thanks for the intel, I would love to play Harry Potter again without having to go back to my PS3. These two are among the best Lego games and I wish there were more like them. Would be nice if they were kind enough to remove at least the game breaking bugs.

I would love to play the AC Ezio games again. They always had the best soundtrack in my opinion.

Brotherhood actually did receive a 100% DLC trophy, so it wouldn't be such a stretch to see another one included this time around.  Besides, the main reason why 100% on AC3 was so hard for many people was because of all the ridiculously BS limitations that every 2nd mission imposed on the player - don't take any damage, don't kill anyone, don't be seen, finish within X seconds/minutes, don't use weapon Y.... it just went on and on.  AC games should give the player the freedom to approach most missions in the manner of their choosing - we shouldn't be led hand in hand through every single mission.

 

And the MP in Revelations was hardly a drag.  You only had to reach level 20 and do 8 or 9 other fairly easy trophies, which didn't take long at all.

I absolutely loved the Ezio trilogy (and every game after that, to be fair, but especially the Ezio games), and LEGO Harry Potter 1-4 was one of my favourite LEGO games (wasn't as fond of 5-7, but still enjoyable). I'm definitely going to be getting both of these at some point, although priority would go to AC.

Might get the AC games, that would turn in to a definite if AC1 was included with trophy support though.

 

As for Lego Potter, probably will one day since I love the Lego games. But not too interested since I've already got them on both PS3 & 360 already. Would love to see a Lego Star Wars remaster though...

The Ezio collection would be welcome. I don't give a fuck about Harry Potter, but a Ezio collection with 3 of the best games in the series could be good if they put effort into it.
