Civilian kills

For the weapon kills, do civilians count? Such as for umbrellas and other annoying weapons? As I did try and kill someone with an umbrella, an enemy in particular, but after like, two or three swings, the umbrella was used up and said enemy was not killed.

 

So would it be easier for to kill civilians with such weapons and that they would count towards said trophy?

Nope, they do not count.

If you going for the "Whats ever handy" trophy then you can kill cilivlians with the cooking wok, purse and umberella and so on. Or are you referring to another trophy because I got that trophy on the PS3 and PS4 versions

It was that one I was referring to... but at least I now know I can kill them for it to count towards said trophy.

Yeap, they do. Mine popped after using a briefcase on some random pedestrian.
