Accel World Vs. Sword Art Online: Millenium Twilight

Teaser trailer:

Game will be released in Japan in 2017, no confirmation for West yet.

The idea is pretty cool, it has been long discussed that SAO and Accel World are in one timeline and that Accel World is actually only a late successor of SAO, but the anime never made that connection once. Cool to see this crossover in the games now (not counting the cameo appearence of Kurohime in Lost Song). :D

I think you're referring to SAO Hollow Realization, which is different from this game.

So when Haruyuki was reading up on the NerveGear during the Dusk Robber arc that wasn't hinting at anything?

Pretty sure it was that arc if I remember right.

Also fixed.

I never watched Accel World and I only read up on this (had also heard of the potential connection before), so I didn't know about that scene.

Lol, I feel your pain. Having a backlog of games makes it easier to wait until a game is on sale.

Yeah, it was during that arc.

Oh god, there will be some explanations required if SAO cast ends up in the future =D

How about something like: the events from the first game, that allowed AW cast to go back to the past, has caused a time paradox in the future, so now the SAO cast must go there and fix it?

I'll know more once I get deeper into the digital universe

edit- just saw this is the game lol. this will be an interesting combo

Nice, have fun with it :D . It's from the same author who wrote Sword Art Online and happens about 20 years after it.
