I'm just trying to add JP games for all of the Japanese lovers. If it's about that, then I'd say to count them separately from # games. It's not terribly difficult to find a JP game for cheap. Han_the_Dragon Posted October 9, 2016 Share Posted October 9, 2016 I think that the Japanese named games (or any game using a different alphabet other then the English one) should be thrown into a an extra group "&" or something, since those aren't numerical characters at the start and translating/romanji the names could later be proven to be wrong if the game is localized and the localized title doesn't fit the same letter as what we assumed it would be.. This way at least all games would be counted, but it would force people to play a game with a Japanese name to complete the list, so I can see why a lot of people wouldn't want this group/option (I personally would also have a hard time filling it, since even if I play a lot of JRPGs and so on, I don't import from Japan, nor do I understand any form of Japanese, other then a few random words/expressions..). How I know where to put this (結城友奈は勇者である 樹海の記憶) It's pretty easy =) Either use Google Translator or jisho.org to copy the runes For example, the game you posted would be categorized under Y because it's Yuuki Yuuna =) Since you only need the first letter, it's pretty easy to find =) If you exclude Japanese games completely, you exclude any Japanese players and players that have only Japanese lists because they could not participate since they would have only one letter no matter what they would do. Or, you can make a rule people who want to participate with their Japanese list would have to list the kanji and their transcription. Anything above a 5/10 on the difficulty scale tends to scare me off, too. :/ 3D Dot Game Heroes is listed as a 7.5/10 on pst.org, and a 7/10 here. I had all my letters planned out; Quantum of Solace and Xblaze(not really because it's easy. I just like Visual Novels, and have always been interested in trying Blazblue out. Have one of those on the Vita, that I really should start). But now this # thing.. Again, why Winston!? The plat difficulty for 3D Dot Game Heroes really isn't too bad. Originally, some of the times for the Dash Circuit minigame were ridiculously hard but they released a patch that added 5 seconds to the time limits so they are much more doable now. However, that patch was never released for the EU versions so anyone interested should definitely be aware of that. Other than that though, the game isn't too difficult and there are some tricks to make some trophies a lot easier. I'd definitely recommend the game for anyone looking for a # game. I'd still buy, play, and Plat it regardless, though. ^^ Honestly 3D Dot is only difficult if you have a non-North American copy. North America has 2 benefits. The time is easier on Dash Circuit AND you can carry over Block Swords from playthrough to playthrough meaning you can bring a fully levelled up Excalibur into your FROM playthrough Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
