CHANGELOG

ATTENTION: I'm no longer carrying strangers, only some closer people now. Guide is still here for reference to them.

First off, this guide is only to be used by people getting carried by me, in case the title didn't give that away yet. The current fastest achiever was carried by myself a few months ago and so did many other users in the past years. If you ever read any of my other non-official guides in the past, you should expect some harsh language here. That's the way I do things, being polite would make this whole thing too boring. Having this guide up doesn't mean that I'll help everyone that ask for help. I will NOT do carries just because you stumbled upon this. You can, however, message me on PSN and ask me if I can help you (if you add me, you are wrong already. If you add me with a blank friend request, you are double wrong. Read topic again, restart life system). I rather play with people with higher percentage (80%+), so people with around 50% or less shouldn't be too hyped about this.

I'm not always in the charity mood, but in case I accept to do a carry, make a CAREFUL read of this thread. I'll check your trophies through your PSNP trophy page and check what you need, then organize with you how the plan is going to unfold. Everything that you need to keep track of will have its own checklist (Bosses Checklist / Slimes Checklist) which you should PRINT and cross off whatever you are done with. I no longer help with slimes, so you are going to need to hunt all of them (except for Crimslime, King Slime and obviously Blue Slime) solo and also work on the solo grind trophies which will be mentioned at the last step. Even though it's a solo step, I'll join your world to set up some things so it can hasten your solo grinding process, including an overnight slimes method. Good luck with pinky/red/yellow.

Be warned: If I carry you through every trophy and you stay at 37/39 trophies (Slimer + plat left), I'll won't ever boost with you again. Because fuck you, that's why. Either you intend going until the very end with this or don't bother messaging me AT ALL.

Step 0: Start and Finish the Tutorial
You are going to learn how to play the game and the basics, but don't stay on this world for any longer than you have to. When you think you know everything the tutorial could teach you, quit back to main menu and move on to the next step. You can skip this step if you have done it before and still remember how to play the game at least decently.

After this step, you must have the following trophies (2/38):

Step 1: Joining Hallow World and work on both crafting trophies, KISA and Pet Hoarder.

Create a new character before joining!

Is This Heaven?: As soon as you spawn the flying island trophy should pop. Open the chest close to you and use the Loot All button to grab all the gear, as it will be what you are going to use from this moment onwards.

Trash your initial gear and rearrange your inventory like in the next picture. You can either move the items to the trash can or press on them.

Set a few pieces of the equipment you just grabbed to your hotkeys (if you can't set hotkeys, you need to press , go to Options > Controls and mark the checkbox for hotkeys first). Set like the black box in the screenshot above:

Legendary Terra Blade as

Legendary Pickaxe as

Legendary Death Sickle as

Magic Mirror as

Jumping and holding will make you fly up for a certain ammount of time and glide until you either hook something or hit the ground. Pressing will use the hook which will pull you toward anything it grabs and stick you to it until you hook something else, destroy what is hooked or jump.

Maxed Out: Use all the Crystal Hearts, then use all the Life Fruits to make all 20 hearts golden. Now all you gotta do is use 10 Mana Crystals and you will be maxed out. If you do everything right, your health and mana should be just as it's highlighterd in the next picture.

Homicidal: If you set the hotkeys like previously said, use to bring out your sword and attack the guide to kill him and unlock Homicidal.

After the guide is dead, press to open then inventory and then R1/R to change to the equip tab. Find the Guide Voodoo Doll and drop it by pressing and then on it like the picture above says. I will give you the mechanical glove to replace it and increase your overall DPS (remind me if I forget to).

Engineer: Now use the wrench to place wires until you run out of wires. You should trash the wrench after you get the trophy to save space, you are not going to need it anymore from this point.

Move all your items to the bottom like in this picture so you make space to get all the pets from the chests. Trash the wrench if you didn't yet.

Open the Slime (blue) chest to your left called Pet Hoarder now. Use the loot all button to put them in your inventory like in the picture below.

The orange bar is your active bar, fill it with pets, close the inventory and then manually use every one of them. After you use every pet in the active bar, trash them and move more pets from the inventory to the active bar until you have used every one of them.

Pet Hoarder: You need to use every pet once with to make them count. You can go from one active bar item to the next using or the touchscreen in case you are a vita player. Trophy should pop after you use the last one. Two of those pets are extras, but I can't recall which. If you wanna have a pet to keep, the Zombie (brain) does contact damage. Not much, but better than nothing.

Now open your inventory again and this time move all your items to the top bar. Your inventory should be clear like in the picture above since you are supposed to trash all the pets. You should also move the coins from the coins slot to the top so you can make sure no active slot is empty. Reason for this is to make every armor piece go straight to the inventory without using any of the active bar slots, so you can loot and deposit them very quickly.

Now open the first Knight In Shining Armors chest (KISA). Like the first picture shows, the KISA chests are the Bone (grey) chests. Chests are numbered like a P

And use the loot all button.

Close the chest menu and open the Pet chest again, the use the deposit all button there, so you transfer all the armor you picked up from the last chest into this one.

Go back to the first KISA chest and loot the remaining pieces, then move those to the Slime chest as well, just like you did before.

Knight In Shining Armors: If you did it right, you should have moved all the content from the first KISA chest to the empty Pet chest. Now repeat the process moving the content from the 2nd KISA chest to the 1st KISA chest (which is now empty), and then the 3rd to the 2nd, the 4th to the 3rd and the 5th to the 4th. Knight In Shining Armors should pop when you loot the last pieces of equipment from the final chest, regardless of the order you take. Using the manual cursor over the smart cursor is highly recommended, you can switch by pressing or touching the button, if you are playing on the vita.

To your right will be the furnace, the anvils and a Steampunker (dark grey and gold) chest with a lot of lead ore. While you can manually move the ore to your inventory, I recommend dropping it on the ground and picking it up back again since that's faster. I don't recommend moving more than 4 stacks at once because you need to have space for the bars you are going to make.

Open your inventory and use /L to move the the Crafting Menu (remember this, you are going to use this menu a lot in the next step fro Crafty!) then press like the picture shows to toogle between all recipes and avaiable only.

You should notice that all your recipes are gone, that's intended. Use the Right still to the right side to change submenus and find the Lead Ore recipe. Hold on that recipe until your inventory fills up.

I'm Smelting/Blacksmith: You will need to turn 30 stacks of 999 lead ore + 30 stray lead ores to craft the total 10.000 bars and you should use 300 of those 10.000 bars to craft 3.000 chains. Focus on creating the bars and trash every single 99 stack of them as your inventory fills up. If you need more ore, use the Steampunker chest to retrieve it. When you get I'm Smealthing, use the bars to make chains so you also get Blacksmith. If by now Hallowed By Thy Name popped, then you can leave to join the next world. If it didn't, wait until it does before leaving.

After this step, you must have the following trophies (14/38):

Step 2: Join Crimson World, use all crafting stations and more

As soon as you spawn, you are going to see two teleporters below you. The right one takes you to the Skeleton fight, the left one to the Crafty area. Use the right one to reach the dungeon entrance and ready up for the arguably hardest ever boss fight you will ever face.

After the incredible and struggling whole 4 seconds boss fight against Skeletron, run all the way left until you get Gone In 60 Seconds.

Gone In 60 Seconds: I've numbered this area from 1 to 16 only to make the run less boring, but the trophy should pop about 10 seconds after the last number.

When the trophy pops, you are free to use the Magic Mirror to warp back to the beginning and use the left teleporter; or keep running to the left until you reach the Crafty area. It's up to you what you gonna choose, but warping back and using the teleporter is faster.

Get to the middle of this area and ready up´for a boss fight, Brain of Tchululu and King Slime are going to be summoned.

After both bosses are dead focus on the Crafting Stations, you will find all of them placed closed to each other, except for the 2 special ones that require special attention. In the images above, all the normal stations are underlined by a white line. To count a CS as used, all you need to do is opening the crafting menu next to them, you don't actually need to craft anything in them.

After completing all the normal CS, you can now use the two special stations above with the chest, the extractinator and the campfire. Jump up to the platform and open the chest in the middle.

Inside the chest you will find a marshmallow on a stick and a block of silt, loot them both.

Use Silt into the extractinator to make coins or materials pop out of it. Imagine that you are building a wall using using the Silt block and aim at the Extractinator. If you are doing this using the manual cursor, you need to manually put the cursor over the extractinator and hold /R on it. On smart cursor, holding the action button and moving towards it seems to make it work too.

Crafty: Hold the marshmallow on a stick next to the campfire until it's roasted (you need to stand still for about 10 seconds), when Crafty pops, leave the world and move on to step 3.

Don't forget to cross off the crimslime from the SCL, so you don't need to have crimson in your solo world to get that one. You can see how crimslimes look like in the picture above, but you really should have killed at least one of them without noticing during the boss fight.

After this step, you must have the following trophies:

Step 3: Join Main World, finish coop trophies.

As soon as you join, you are going to be pretty close to the teleporter that takes you to heaven, move right to reach it.

Icarus: Move left as soon as you spawn takes you to Hell, so do that right now.

Rock Bottom: When in Hell, move right to teleport back to spawn. You should now have all the vertical trophies, except for Airtime which is solo.. I'll be killing the guide with lava since a lava kill ignores who used it, giving you the Appease the Volcano Gods trophy even if you weren't the one to burn him. In a few in-game hours at daytime, the guide will respawn, thus giving you both NPC trophies.

To Hell and Back: When back to spawn, use the Clorophyte/Lizhard teleporter to get into the boss arena.

As soon as you warp, drop down and prepare for the big fight.

Dive yourself into honey for a second to get the buff that increases your life regen for 30 seconds and jump back up in the platform.

Use the staffs you picked up to summon the Ice Dragon, Spider Queen and a tiki minion, they will aid us in the following fight.

Bona Fide/Ophthalmologist/Ride The Worm: In this arena a lot of bosses will be fought at the same time. Attack everything you can, but don't focus on the big worm with red blobs, it's best to leave The Destroyer alive as much as possible since it releases probes that gives health upon death what helps you tanking damage. Use Legendary Terra Blade for the whole duration of the fights since the penetrating damage will be extremely useful. You can and should tank all the damage by standing still, so don't move unless you are half a bar away from death.. All other bosses attack you from a certain distance and it's easier to attack them standind still, so they don't move either. Makes it easier for both of us, trust me.

Back For Seconds: After the first wave is dead, the second wave of Mechanical bosses will be called forth and upon their death.

After the 2 waves of bosses are dead, latch yourself (/L) to the top left wall and use the Legendary Death Sickle to attack the Golem boss which is glitched above.

Home Sweet Home/All in The Family/Corruptible: If you didn't get these 3 trophies yet, then you gotta wait until they pop. Guide will move it at daytime (all bosses are killed during night time, so you need to wait until the dawn) and Corruptible, just like Hallowed by thy name requires you to spend a certain ammount of time in the world to trigger the trophy.

After this step, you must have the following trophies:

Step 4: Wall of Flesh kill, Hellevator, To Hell and Back.

Last world and last coop step of this journey, you are going to join the very last world made exclusively for killing the Wall of Flesh. because even though we could have killed it in any of the previous worlds, only a pre-hardmode world will trigger Challenge Accepted, thus it's pointless to kill it in a hardmode world for Exterminator if you will need to kill it again in a pre-hardmode later.

As soon as you join, you are going to be on top of the teleporter to Hell. Jump on it and you will be teleported to the Wall of Flesh arena.

WoF will come from the right side (since that's the side I was facing when the GVD was hurled into lava, but shouldn't take more than 10 seconds do die. Using the Legendary Terra Blade, focus your attacks on its eyes and avoid being touched, this fight will be over pretty quickly.

When he is dead, loot the Flesh (red/pink) Chest called Clentaminator + Ammo, then leave. You are now done with the carry and off to the solo step of this journey toward the plat.

Inside the chest will be a GVD, the clentaminator gun (yellow box), hallow ammo (light blue box), corruption ammo (dark purple box) and purifier ammo (green box). You are going to use all those individual solutions in a separate world in the solo step to hunt solely the hardmode slimes. All the other slimes will be hunt in a pre-hardmode world because there is less enemy variety to face, so it's more likely to kill whatever you are looking for.

After this step, you must have the following trophies (32/38):

Step 5: Solo grinding the 'natural' trophies and Slimer.

In this step, you take your time grinding the last trophies. You will need to walk 42km in total, remove 10k blocks, spend a lot of time in the air, survive a red moon (it's random when you get one, you might already had by now) and kill all slimes.

Marathon Runner: I'll set up two teleporters in a straight line for you so you can AFK running a straight line and keep getting teleported to the beginning over and over again. Pretty easy and should be done within one hour tops. The gap between the 2 teleporters are going to be bigger than the one shown above, I just made that one smaller to show both in a single screenshot.

Airtime: I recommend digging a hole straight to Hell from spawn, so you can start falling as soon as you use the Magic Mirror and keep using it over and over again until Airtime is done. However, I highly recommend grinding this ONLY after you are done hunting all the slimes as you are more than likely to have the trophy before it.

Landscaper: You get this one by removing blocks from the world, just use the Legendary Pickaxe anywhere you want, but making Hellevators downwards are the easiest and brainless way to do it since you just need to hold the left stick down and /R until you reach the underworld.I highly recommend grinding this ONLY after you are done hunting all the slimes as you are more than likely to have the trophy before it.

Slimer (pinky/red/yellow)/Red Moon Rises:There is one afk overnight method that I help building to kill pinky overnight, as shown in the picture above. With this method, in a night or two you should get your pinky kill since all you need to do is staying at the same spot with the Legendary Terra Blade swinging forward, so it kills anything that comes in front of you while the lava destroys anything coming from behind while the workbench+water candle close to you are going to increase enemy spawn rate. Since one night doing this method you should spend several day/night cycles, you are more than likely to survive a blood moon without trying.you still must kill the majority of the other slimes manually. While the checklist has a raw location of their spawn, use the Terraria Slime Wiki (you only need to kill the ones listed in the checklist, ignore all the others slimes there.

After that is complete, you shall have your platinum, congratulations! All of the remaining slimes can (and probably are easier to) be found on a pre-hard mode (aka before Wall of Flesh kill). Good luck finding pinky/dungeon and post back when you get your platinum so I can add you to the Hall of Fame.

I'm way more likely to help active forum members than randoms. My main concern when putting this up was getting random friend requests from dozens of people begging to be carried. I still have my games to play and sometimes I just would like to be on my own for a while, I remember last year running 12 people within a week, it was tiring and had 2 or 3 who never finished the plat. I would murder them if I could.

Anyway, message me when your time comes and we can get this done. My part, steps 1-3 can easily be done within an hour or two, then you can do your part, steps 0 and 4, at your own pace, whenever you want to.

Crimson world is almost ready now, all I need is the guide to spawn so I can lock him into the rainbow room. Moved all CS in place and put several torches in the area. I'll add another point to the list regarding Brain of Tchulhulu. I've done so much stuff and it only increased the version by .38 points. My points system was horrible, should have balanced it better to make it feel more rewarding all the effort I'm putting into it.

All final guide info has now been added to the guide. Please note that my world is not Corrupt yet, so step 3 is slightly false for pointing that it will net the Corruptible trophy, but I chose to post like it will be when I'm done corrupting my world, rather than posting it right and changing later.

Every time I look at this game, it seems like there are more pets or crafting stations I didn't remember from before. Ugh. Trophywise, every update gets worse. Thankfully I finished long ago.

Would take me like 3 hours, but sadly I only have the vita version and it isn't cross buy.

Let me know whenever, man. Maybe you wanna consider beating the fastest achiever too, shouldn't take long when my worlds are all set up and ready. I'm still working on the last details and updating this day by day.

I'm using the vita too and there is full crossplay between all versions. When the thread is complete, I'll do another NABQ and mention that kind of thing there,

After the new update on consoles, PS4 is unable to join the PS3 version. The PS4 just crashes to XMB menu. So PS3 will never be getting new patches and it makes it incompatible.

No, PS4 cannot join the PS3.

But PS3 can join the PS4.

It's only 1 way. I've been dealing with this for a while now and over 20 people failing to join it's definitely broken.

Definetely not the same with the vita, he joined me more more than once. I had the issue you are talking about on my second run with TehUberChessCat. We connected fine first day, a week later he crashed every attempt to join me, but I joined him fine. Not sure if this error is random or what.

He actually came to my world to get the corrupt trophy done so he kinda tried to plat. We also tried one of my slimes world to see if it would pop but he's still missing some I guess. Not hard to use the wiki and search the biomes for the specific slime you need. Granted, pinky is random as hell!

He actually came to my world to get the corrupt trophy done so he kinda tried to plat. We also tried one of my slimes world to see if it would pop but he's still missing some I guess. Not hard to use the wiki and search the biomes for the specific slime you need. Granted, pinky is random as hell!

He needs pinky, didn't bother to try getting it after 2 hours, I was checking his progress through friends menu, then he quit to never come back.

You don't get to be added to the hall of shame up to a week after the carry is over, but you get added to the hall of fame as soon as I get to know you have the plat. Got another runner to do this week as well, God bless me.

Hi TheYuriG.

I have been spending 20+ hours to find Pinky.

What DARKB1KE said is true, that I joined his world to help me with the slimes. However he didn't have Pinky in his Slime World, so I started playing the game a lot.

Yesterday I left the Playstation open during the night with a Water Candle in my hand to get more enemies to spawn. Came home from work today at evening and still had not killed Pinky.

Then I started farming the Water Candles and put them all on a table, this made Pinky spawn and it was the one I needed.

So now I have all the trophies. Thanks to both of you

I forgot to mention that you wrote down Hallow slime, but I think you meant the Shadow slime. I had to cross reference it with the trophy guide.
