Popular Post xZoneHunter
List of 3rd party partners The first thing to know about the new Nintendo Switch home gaming system: it’s really fun to play. With great graphics, loads of game titles and incredible performance, the Nintendo Switch will provide people with many hours of engaging and interactive gaming entertainment. But creating a device so fun required some serious engineering. The development encompassed 500 man-years of effort across every facet of creating a new gaming platform: algorithms, computer architecture, system design, system software, APIs, game engines and peripherals. They all had to be rethought and redesigned for Nintendo to deliver the best experience for gamers, whether they’re in the living room or on the move. A Console Architecture for the Living Room and Beyond Nintendo Switch is powered by the performance of the custom Tegra processor. The high-efficiency scalable processor includes an NVIDIA GPU based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards. Nintendo SwitchThe Nintendo Switch’s gaming experience is also supported by fully custom software, including a revamped physics engine, new libraries, advanced game tools and libraries. NVIDIA additionally created new gaming APIs to fully harness this performance. The newest API, NVN, was built specifically to bring lightweight, fast gaming to the masses. Gameplay is further enhanced by hardware-accelerated video playback and custom software for audio effects and rendering. We’ve optimized the full suite of hardware and software for gaming and mobile use cases. This includes custom operating system integration with the GPU to increase both performance and efficiency. NVIDIA gaming technology is integrated into all aspects of the new Nintendo Switch home gaming system, which promises to deliver a great experience to gamers. IMaySlayLizDaw94
Really not expecting much Nintendo drops the ball with every console and they're all a huge disappointment Couldn't give a damn about the NX as we all know it's going to be yet another irrelevant behind the times piece of trash They need to give up the console race and just make games for the consoles that do well

They just can't help themselves. I think it looks perfectly fine. I'll wait for more info though. For a reveal trailer, I think they did a good job. FlareXV
The promotional trailer is awesome, I can proudly say that if the Nintendo Switch was here at the beginning, I would have got that first before the other two. The console looks beautiful and I feel the console can bring something different. The problems that plague the Wii U seem to have gone and the console (handheld) look beautiful. I can now say that I believe Nintendo can be a first choice if they do right by the Switch.

jasondm300
I'm very intreiged. It looks like a perfect marriage of home and portable, which is nice for me as I am away from my home more than not, hence why my Vita gets way more playtime than my PS$, unfortunatly. I'm just thinking how amazing it would be come November, for example, Start FF xV at home, go to work and continue it on a tablet-type screen with an actual controller on my lunch
RachelCharlotte
So we bascially get a Wii U with better support from other developers, but it doesn't play Wii games and most of the upcoming Nintendo Games we already own but can't use because it uses cartridges? I was really hoping they'd have a better idea than making Wii U into a handheld
Dragon-Archon
List of partners Those are a lot of partners, here's hoping they won't do some console-exclusive releases like Bayonetta 2.
Undead Wolf
What better way to show off a new console than showing old games running on it? Such innovation. And did they have to show the name of the console like 20 times throughout the trailer? We get it... Speaking of, I'm not a fan of the name at all. I guess it's better than their regular naming scheme though. I was almost expect this to be called Super Wii U DS 64 XL or something. But yeah, it could be interesting. I won't write it off right away. Japan will love this thing.
IMaySlayLizDaw94
I sincerely hope that games don't end up being dumbed down for PS4 and Xbone just so they can run on the Switch I'll be fuming
Brawler
I'm hoping the core console doesn't suffer for the sake of the "On the go" aspects. I'm not much of a gamer outside of the home so that part of it doesn't appeal to me as much. Looks neat so far for those who are interested in that sorta thing, though. F-Zero or riot! madbuk
Probably not going to be getting this. Got a Wii U and never really played it apart from as a Wii, and Nintendo needs to earn back my trust for that. However, that new Mario game looked superb. Can't stand the gameplay of 3D Land (I didn't play 3D World because of that, but I doubt it's much different) because it was essentially just a 2D platformer in a wasted 3D plain. This new one looks like it'll actually be a fully explorable 3D area like 64/Sunshine though, which is amazing.
