Can single play trophies be earned with 2 controllers?

Well, it might sound like a dumb question, but is it possible? I'm planning to return to this game soon when my holiday starts, and would love to know, as some of the trophies seem a little tedious with a A.I.

Sorry for the late reply (I didn't see this thread until now), but I was able to get the trophy for winning 180 rivalry matches with two controllers.

I just recently found out that using 2 controllers doesn't work on the others. I would have posted sooner, but I wanted to be sure first. 50 universe wins, 50 different superstar wins and 20 different matches shouldn't take too long. Just set the game to easy, and set the A.I. reversal rates to zero and finisher/foreign object strength to maximum in the game balancing options to speed things up.

That should be all you really need going for those trophies. I've seen it personally but the A.I. can still counter from time to time but its not often. Being on easy difficulty, sometimes one signature move and/or finisher is all it takes. Maybe an hour or so should be all you need to put into getting the trophies.

Cheers for both of your answers. I just wanted to know before popping the game back in to do those trophies, as i haven't touched it after the online went down.
