Popular Post xPolydeucesx
Behold, zero escapists! Aksys Games and Spike Chunsoft proudly announce that Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is making its way to PS4 and PS Vita in Spring 2017! Exclusive to PS4 and PS Vita, The Nonary Games is a double pack collection of Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999) and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward (VLR). Nonary Game uninitiated who missed out on these two mind-shredding titles before now have the perfect chance to grab both in one collection. Pretty great, right? What’s that? You’ve already managed to escape the clutches of death and played both games through to completion? Fear not! 999 has been rebuilt from the ground up and now features HD graphics, as well as English and Japanese voice acting. Prepare to experience 999 as it was intended, and lose yourself in unparalleled immersion. So what exactly is a Nonary Game? In essence, the game contains nine “players” or participants. You assume the role of one of these participants and compete towards a common goal. “No big deal, I love a good, friendly competition!” you say to yourself. Well, not so fast… The rules of each game vary from title to title, but the end goal is always the same: you must fight for survival and do everything in your power to escape with your life! That’s right, the price for losing this game is death. Did we mention that you’ve been “entered” against your will? The main antagonist in both games is the enigmatic Zero. Who is Zero? What does Zero want? Why are you in this situation to begin with? Fair questions to be sure, but to answer any of these would simply ruin the experience! A special feature of each Nonary Game is the implementation of a watch-like device, which is attached to each participant’s wrist. Unique to each game, the watch serves a few sinister functions, most notably as the very probable agent of your demise! Needless to say, your quest will focus on solving the mystery of your surroundings and successfully removing the lethal time piece. The Zero Escape franchise is renowned for its engrossing narrative and complex story, and The Nonary Games collection serves as the definitive version of the first two games. For both the uninitiated and seasoned escapists, The Nonary Games is the perfect gateway into this deadly and thought-provoking world. Prepare yourselves gamers, Zero Escape: The Nonary Games makes its way to PS4 and PS Vita next year! Undead Wolf
WOOOO! We knew it was coming, but I'm so happy that I finally get to play 999 on my Vita. I've never even played that one before, but I love the later two games, so I imagine I'm gonna love that one too. I'm just glad I didn't spoil it for myself by watching a playthrough on YouTube or something. I had a feeling that a PS4 version was gonna get announced as well. I don't know why you'd want to play these kinds of games on a console, but oh well. I'm curious as to how many new trophy lists there are gonna be. We can safely assume the PS4 versions are going to get new trophy lists, but I wonder if VLR will get a new list on Vita as well. I really hope so, because I'd love to get that platinum again. EDIT: I just noticed that Zero Time Dilemma isn't included in this. How strange... Edited October 31, 2016 by Undead Wolf

xPolydeucesx
Why would ZTD get a new list? It isn't being rereleased. Welp, because if the first two games have release on PS4, then there is high chances for ZTD on PS4 as well.
Undead Wolf
Why would ZTD get a new list? It isn't being rereleased. Like I said in the edit, I didn't see that ZTD wasn't included at first.

Suicide_Tortuga
Hopefully you can be able to buy 999 on it's own, since I already have played VLR on Vita.
FlareXV
Does anyone think 3 will appear on PS4?
Undead Wolf
I'd also like to buy 999 separately as a physical copy just so I can complete the whole set. If VLR gets another trophy list on Vita though, I'll buy that too. Does anyone think 3 will appear on PS4? It has to at some point. I mean it's not a complete story without ZTD. Maybe the reason they didn't include it in this collection is because the game is still new, so they're planning to release it separately to make more money. That would be my guess anyway. The game is already on PC, so I don't see why not. Edited October 31, 2016 by Undead Wolf
Cleggworth
I just finished VLR and it was a revelation so I shall definitely be picking up 999 for the vita if you can buy it separately Edited October 31, 2016 by Cleggworth

dmsleight
Great news. I have VLR, and I was holding out on ZTD for when/if 999 would make it. I'll definitely pick those up (hopefully physical) at some point. Thanks for the news!

Sigma999
Curently playing ZTD on 3DS and already played 999( DS version) and VLR both on 3DS and replayed VLR on Vita . This such great news for everyone that hasn't played 999 yet or what to replay it with better and upgraded features i hope like skipping scenes you already played before like on VLR or ZTD. I would totally buy 999 for Vita if it comes out separately , don't wanna pay extra money on Nonary Game pack to get also VLR again for the 3rd time

(character and story wise mostly) The story is incredible. Some seriously mind-blowing stuff, let me tell ya. The characters are great too, but the story is where it really shines. Without a doubt some of the best VN's I've ever played.
