WORST PSN Games?

I was thinking today about how many games there are on the PlayStation store now and how many of them are just so far from even being called an "Indie" game. A couple that come to mind are "My Name Is Mayo" and "Inner Kung Fu Game". Now I'm not gonna go on a whole thing about how these games shouldn't even be allowed on the store nor do I wants this to turn into that. I'm just interested in what are some of THE WORST games you have come across on the PSN store, I'm talking about the bottom of the barrel digital only games that make you wonder how could such a game even be put on the store.

Overlord has a spin-off on PS4 (Fellowship of Evil I believe) that has atrocious loading times and at no point runs smoothly despite its relatively simple graphics. Additionally it's not much fun and if you want to go for the platinum (which I didn't) you have to grind for days. Another thing you have to do for a long time: trying to connect to someone else's PS4 for online trophies, that almost never works. Shame on Sony for not asserting the quality of the games uploaded to the store whatsoever.

Defiantly agree with you there the worst PSN game ever then Albedo comes in second place to that i feel so dirty for having both of those platinum's.

Yeah, it was on sale this week so i picked it up because i want to get to 100 platinums as quick as possible, and it was so bad.

Still have to play Albedo so it's going to be a boring evening again

Who are we to say whether a game has absolutely no value and shouldn't be on the store? Personally, I'm in favour of the market sorting itself out on this one.

Getting through certification isn't free, so acts as a natural barrier to entry against the worst on Steam. A dev actually has to invest some cash to get into Sony's ecosystem, so the likes of Digital Homicide and other devs who clearly don't care about their games are less likely to even try to get on.

I will agree that Sony could be doing more to aid the "discoverability" of some of the games on the store though. Something like the Summer of Arcade promotion that Microsoft used to run on the XBLA was great for highlighting standout indies and Sony could be doing something similar. Browsing the store is a painful experience at the best of times - just a long list which is hard enough to navigate and resets to the top if you do dip into a game page to see what it has got going on.

The algorithms that Sony uses to highlight games that might interest you are also crap, IMO. All the suggestions are either games I already own (but haven't purchased digitally, so the store doesn't count me as an owner), the latest [iNSERT AAA SHOOTER GAME HERE] that everyone and their dog is currently playing, or just woefully wrong for my tastes. Something better might be a curator system so that the user could get recommendations from media personalities or reviewers with whom the user tends to agree.

I wouldn't want to see games like My Name is Mayo taken off or banned from the store if they haven't broken any of Sony's rules though. Sony should not be an arbiter of value - that's ultimately up to the end user, and what you like/dislike in a game and are willing to pay for it might not be applicable to the next person.

Sony should only prevent a game from coming onto the ecosystem where there has been/will be a breach of their terms and conditions (which will generally be caught in certification, e.g. this game will not function with the intended hardware) or abuse of their users (e.g. false advertising).

I find you people's pov interesting. My name is mayo is getting a lot hate but the game is only 0.99$. I believe we should rate games based on few things like price , content and gameplay.

• Thief. I was more stupid than teenagers whose 16 birthday was on MTV's my sweet 16. I mean, l paid full price for it and only played a couple of hours. Horrible game.

• The Order. Well, l loved that a lot but another 59.99$ for an incomplete game. It was one of the worst until it got a price drop.

•No Man's Sky. A rip off. Enough said.

No Man's Sky offered us a feeling that we could never get from any other game, how could you hate such a masterpiece?
