I really can't be the only one who dislikes the current Beyond: Two Souls header, can I? there's so many great scenes of Jodie throughout that game!

Yeah, I recommended the one that's currently up, the one we had before that was absolute rubbish, lol. Some of your recommendations aren't bad but I like the one that's up now, it has a lot of color and activity going on in it - I guess you realized after posting the links that there weren't very many that were on par or better than the current one =P I tried to find the best one I could when I found that one, I thought it fit perfectly, lol

She just doesn't look like herself in my opinion. After playing through the entire game, I feel like that angle on her in the picture is a horrible angle and doesn't really show how gorgeous the character looks in parts of the game =/ It's a tough call though, for sure, considering how little there is available for header images.. =[

Yeah, I definitely see what you mean, I tried to find an image exactly like that but over 1,000 pixels wide when looking for a header image but couldn't find any. The ones I found that were similar were too zoomed in and looked way too awkward on a wide format for a header.

 

After some poking around just now, I did manage to find an image just like that one you linked to above that wasn't all zoomed in and stuff, however it had some terrible, washed out color quality, so I edited it and made the color quality better. I also flipped the image so that if this new recommendation is liked by Legend and added, then her head won't be trapped behind the trophy card on the main page when it's shown, lol (Almost like the Far Cry 3 one, which we still should probably fix). Nice, thanks! Well we'll see what Legend decided to do when he comes in and catches up with the headers in a few days, If he decided he likes the new one then he'll put it up but if he liked the old one and decided not to put the new one up he'll most likely tell us in the forum that he decided not to change it, so stick to the forums to see what he decided to do in a few days if you're interested!

Damn! I think I missed the 'new' banner since all I see is the old one! I love the trophy card for what it is but if we do find an exceptional photo that might be a good look for a trophy card, would you change that?

My 2 cents in the incredible header war for this game :lol:  . Really there's a lot of material on the web but most is not "header ready" for PSNP. Also many of in-game screenshots have color banding, aliasing, etc... Well, found these 2 easy to crop and enough space given for stat bars...

I have updated the header again.  How do you all feel about this one? As a reminder, right now its just a battle between personal taste.  The header fits the guidelines and standards that we have at PSNP for these headers.  I hope we can find something everyone is happy with. :).

 

A question came across about the trophy card.  Yes, if we can find a good image to justify a change in the trophy card, I wouldn't mind changing that either!

Her head would still be covered by the trophy card on the main page, plus, yeah we could do better, eh just put the original back up, lmao

See, that section of the game is very, very small. It's misleading for a great deal of the game. Personally, I think it's okay if she's somewhat behind the trophy card on the main page. The real fixation is going to be on game page, not the home page. Least, this is what I think.

 

Personally, I like the current one. The one where she's laying in the snow. It's also a small part of the game but it's a great way to represent her, in the cold, alone. Though I'm sure others have opinions on that. Still, This doesn't really show her, her eyes and her face in a detailed expression, so I'm not too sure about it. I really like the way it looks though.. Arggghhh.

I think if we had a good version of the Trophy Card image for the header, that would be a nice fit. Maybe after a while there will be some more edits in higher resolution that would fit our needs here.

Thanks for the reply on this! I'll keep my eyes out! I created a dummy version of the Trophy interface and the Header, so I'll monkey around with images if I find them for other games.

Okay, I agree with Blankmar's comment about how the image of her in the military uniform isn't good because it doesn't represent the entire game and actually misleading but I don't think Legend liked it much either because he didn't choose that one to put up, so we're all in agreement there =P I also agree with Blankmar that I don't like the one of her in the snow because it doesn't show her face and the blue artwork of the game is so much better to have as a header.

 

Now, Legend said that he didn't like the one of the side of her face because it was too heavily modified, when i edited it i made the blues more vibrant in it but did not change the coloring of her face when I modified it, however here's the unmodified version of that image but just simply flipped so her face wont be hidden behind the trophy card on the main page:

I like both of these, Legend likes the second one and may even like the first one now that it's not modified, and Blankmar seems to prefer the first one but still likes the second one. Okay, that's the two, choose one of them Legend, haha

For some reason, the Vita version, which is a different game than the PS3 version and therefore has different trophies, shows up as "PS3, Vita", while the PS3 version is correctly identified as "PS3".
