Popular Post SirDave1988
Patch Notes:- V1.0 - Initial Release V2.0 - Minor text fixes About Me I have been playing video games for over 20 years since I was 5 years old, with my first console being the SEGA Master System 2. Since Feb 1998, I have pretty much been an exclusive PlayStation gamer. I own and have enjoyed every main PlayStation system that has been released. I started collecting trophies pretty much since they have existed, the first set being with Street Fighter IV when it launched back in Feb 2009. Between the years 2009 and 2012, I considered Trophies a nice addition to a game's experience, but I never actively sought them out and focused more on online multiplayer games such as Call of Duty. However, after obtaining the Dead Space platinum in May of 2013, I got addicted to collecting Trophies as I enjoyed fully completing games and I realized I had the gaming skills to do it as well. Since then, I have been more of a full-time Trophy Hunter. Here is the (long) list of Platinums/100% I have accumulated in my time. Thanks for taking the time to check out my list! Obviously, I would recommend it most to wrestling fans, but for non-fans, it's still a fun game with an easy platinum. Date Earned - 3rd September 2009 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - True Legend Killer #2 - Tekken 6 (PS3) Spoiler I remember being so hyped for this game when I first saw it on YouTube back in 2007. The end game was OK, but not all it could have been. Nightmare Train wasn't too bad for me, but I know some other people have had problems with it. Date Earned - 28th May 2010 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - What A Nightmare #3 - Resident Evil 5 (PS3) Spoiler I actually really enjoyed this game and I got really hooked on it, despite the fact it wasn't as good as 4. Date Earned - 1st September 2010 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - The Works #4 - Tekken Tag Tournament HD (PS3) Spoiler I'm so glad that they chose to re-release my all time favourite fighting game and my first PS2 game in HD. Date Earned - 30th October 2012 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Chicken! #5 - Dead Space (PS3) Spoiler I think that in years to come, this will be considered an all-time classic, up there with the original Resident Evil. Why they aren't making a live-action film of this game I don't know. This is the platinum that got me into Trophy Hunting. Date Earned - 4th May 2013 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Epic Tier 3 Engineer #6 - Resident Evil 6 (PS3) Spoiler The Marmite of gaming, you either love it or hate it. I enjoyed it for what it was, but I can understand why some people don't like it as it's not like classic Resident Evil anymore. Date Earned - 14th May 2013 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Heirlooms #7 - Terminator Salvation (PS3) Spoiler The game wasn't too bad I suppose, but yeah nothing amazing or anything. The infamous trophy list of 11 golds and the platinum is what most people remember about this game. Date Earned - 14th June 2013 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 4/10 Hardest Trophy - Veteran Commander #8 - Ratchet & Clank (PS3) Spoiler This game was so awesome and memorable, my favourite platforming series on the PS2. Grinding for the 1 million bolts trophy was a pain though. Date Earned - 29th October 2013 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Bolt Collector #9 - Green Lantern - Rise Of The Manhunters (PS3) Spoiler Don't be fooled by the fact that this is a movie tie-in game, it was actually pretty fun, albeit a complete copy of the God Of War style of game. Platinum was pretty easy as well. Date Earned - 4th December 2013 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Shut Your Mouth #10 - SoulCalibur II HD Online (PS3) Spoiler A great fighting game from the PS2 days. Platinum trophy is a bit of a grind in Weapon Master mode, but great fun nonetheless. Date Earned - 15th January 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Against All Odds #11 - #20 Spoiler #11 - God Of War (PS3) Spoiler This was actually my first time playing the God Of War series in this HD collection, I missed it back on the PS2. I can see now why it was held in such high regard. Challenge of the Gods was an absolute nightmare . Date Earned - 26th January 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - I'll Take The Physical Challenge #12 - Ratchet & Clank 2 (PS3) Spoiler Same as Ratchet & Clank 1, albeit with less grinding. I actually slightly enjoy this one more over the first one. Date Earned - 10th February 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Platinum Power #13 - God Of War II (PS3) Spoiler Same as God Of War 1, but thankfully, the Challenge Of The Titans is easier in this one. Date Earned - 10th March 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Bleeding Thumbs #14 - Jak and Daxter : The Precursor Legacy (PS3) Spoiler Back on the PS2, I only got about a 1/3rd of the way through this before I got bored of it. Playing it through now reminds me of the original Crash Bandicoot. Good fun and an easy platinum. Date Earned - 18th April 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - The Super Orberator #15 - Batman : Arkham Asylum (PS3) Spoiler Like Dead Space, an all-time classic from the 7th generation of consoles. I actually prefer this game to Arkham City and Origins. For me, this one had a better atmosphere and is more memorable. Date Earned - 29th April 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Predator Gold #16 - Jak II (PS3) Spoiler My favourite of the Jak series and the only one I have completed previously on the PS2. This was a lot harder than I remember it being, I guess modern day games really are a lot easier in general. If you're having trouble with this platinum, I recommend looking up the orb glitch. Date Earned - 30th May 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - The Collectationator! #17 - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (PS3) Spoiler When I heard this was coming to consoles, I was so excited, and I told myself I was going to platinum it no matter what. Tekken Tag 1 is probably my favourite my favourite fighting game ever next to the Street Fighter IV series, and I feel this game modernises the original game and is the definitive Tekken game. Date Earned - 8th June 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Super Combot DX Complete #18 - Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 (PS3) Spoiler I know almost everyone gives the Call Of Duty series a lot of stick, but for me, this was my first Call Of Duty and for me is in my top 10 games of all time. The platinum took all of 4 years and 6 months due to the enormously frustrating Spec Ops mode, but apart from that, it was a lot of fun. Date Earned - 11th July 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Star 69 #19 - Jak 3 (PS3) Spoiler So that's the Jak and Daxter trilogy platinumed on PS3, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I still think that Jak 2 is probably the best of the trilogy, but after completing Jak 3 for the first time, I thought it was really good and told a good, funny at times, story. Not much else to say, great series of games! Date Earned - 11th July 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - The Orbiter Of Record #20 - Darksiders (PS3) Spoiler Overall, it was a very enjoyable hack-and-slash that plays like a mix of Zelda, God Of War and Devil May Cry with a moderately difficult trophy list. Apart from a couple of trophies here and there, it was not too difficult. Date Earned - 23rd July 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Aerial Predator #21 - #30 Spoiler #21 - Final Fantasy X HD Remaster (PS3/PS4/Vita) Spoiler So glad that I was able to achieve the platinum on my favourite Final Fantasy game ever. I remember putting 200+ hours into this back on the PS2 version and I never got bored of it. So when I found out that it was being remade in HD for the PS3, I had to get it and I was going to get the platinum no matter what. Date Earned - 6th August 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Perseverance #22 - Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 (PS3) Spoiler Glad I finally got this out of the way, stupid Spec Ops missions! Apart from those, it was actually not too hard. As for the game, I enjoyed it, even if it is extremely similar to MW2. The multi-player was mega fun back when it was the latest CoD, way more than Ghosts. Date Earned - 14th August 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Overachiever #23 - Batman : Arkham City (PS3) Spoiler I can definitely say that this was much, much harder than Arkham Asylum. The Riddler challenges, especially the Predator Master campaign, were very challenging and the Perfect Free flow trophy was so hard, I wanted to throw my controller out the window at one point. Overall, I really enjoyed this game, even though by New Game Plus, it got really repetitive with the side missions. Date Earned - 24th August 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Perfect Freeflow 2.0 #24 - Medal Of Honor Frontline (PS3) Spoiler Back when Call Of Duty didn't exist, this was the FPS of choice when it came out on the PS2, and I enjoyed as much now as I did back in 2003, even if it is dated by this point. What I liked however about this HD port is that they actually tried to improve the original game in some areas, such as adding an ADS option, which was never in the game originally. Date Earned - 7th September 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - You Still Aren't As Tough As Audie Murphy #25 - Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3) Spoiler It was okay, not the best fighting game ever but is generally fun overall, however by the time you've finished doing all of the Arcade Mode playthroughs, the novelty starts to wear off and you're just glad to finish it by then. Date Earned - 11th September 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - This Is Living #26 - Ratchet & Clank 3 : Up Your Arsenal (PS3) Spoiler This was the first time I completed the 3rd instalment of the series on the PS2 and I had a blast (literately) playing this. Everything about it is great, from the funny characters (Lawrence playing a bass solo at the final boss battle ) to the Qwark vid comics (I would happily play an entire game of just those). Date Earned - 16th September 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Thorough #27 - God Of War III (PS3) Spoiler Finally completed this epic trilogy of games and in my opinion, this was the hardest and also most enjoyable of the three. I really enjoyed everything about this game, awesome graphics, great story and tried and tested gameplay all combine to make a great package. Date Earned - 5th October 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Unhuman #28 - WWE 2K14 (PS3) Spoiler Really enjoyed the game overall with the 30 Years Of WrestleMania mode being my favourite part even though the gameplay is a tad clunky and the graphics are average. Also there were quite a few frustrating trophies including the online play and The Streak mode trophies, but being a wrestling fan, it was a good game. Date Earned - 12th October 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - A winner is you! #29 - inFamous (PS3) Spoiler Very enjoyable game, even if by now it is starting to show it's age. Many compare this game to GTA but it reminded me most of Spider-Man 2 on the PS2, in a good way. Date Earned - 23rd November 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Stunt Master #30 - Dante's Inferno (PS3) Spoiler Very enjoyable hack 'n' slash game. The similarities between this and God of War are startling, in fact, it looks and plays almost the same as the first God of War HD collection. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just it kinda feels like a watered down version of that at times. Date Earned - 7th December 2014 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Well Done, Judas #31 - #40 Spoiler #31 - SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection (PS3) Spoiler If you grew up in the 90's and were playing these kind of games as a kid like I was, this is a must-buy. They did a great job not only putting most if not all of the Mega Drive/Genesis classics on here but also throwing in a few Master System and Arcade classics from this time too! Trophy List was pretty easy also! Date Earned - 3rd January 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Easy as Pie #32 - Call Of Duty : Advanced Warfare (PS4) Spoiler Being a big Call of Duty fan since MW2, I was glad to see that this series has redeemed itself after the abomination that was Ghosts. The Exo suit really does change up the game massively, despite it still being Call of Duty at it's core. I think Sledgehammer Games did a great job with the franchise and I'm really looking forward to AW2 when that comes out in 2017! Date Earned - 6th January 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Flip Flop #33 - Plants vs Zombies : Garden Warfare (PS4) Spoiler This was a mega amount of fun, some of the most fun I've had on PS4 so far. As the name would suggest, it's meant to be a parody of like a Call of Duty : Modern Warfare game in the PvZ universe, and they did a really good job. The only downer about it is that there is little to no single-player or offline content at all, so if you aren't connected to the internet, it loses nearly all of it's appeal. Date Earned - 18th February 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Garden Dioxide #34 - inFamous 2 (PS3) Spoiler Overall, I'd say I enjoyed inFamous 2 more than inFamous 1, despite the fact that they are very similar. The biggest improvement I thought over the original were the graphics. Gameplay wise, if you liked inFamous 1, you'll like this. If you didn't, I'd stay clear of it. Trophy-wise, I found the platinum was easier than the first one. Date Earned - 2nd March 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Pain Builds Character #35 - Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (PS3) Spoiler This was my first time playing the Sly Cooper series in this HD collection as like the God Of War series, I missed it on the PS2 for one reason or another. At first, I didn't like it as much as the Ratchet & Clank or the Jak & Daxter series, but the more I got into it, the more I enjoyed it and I consider it as good as those aforementioned series. Date Earned - 12th March 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Greedy Raccoon #36 - Uncharted : Drake's Fortune (PS3) Spoiler Really enjoyed it, just like watching a 7 1/2 hour Hollywood movie. Even though I had to play it through 3 times as I didn't know that Crushing was only unlocked through Hard, I didn't get bored of it. I guess that shows that Naughty Dog are a quality development studio. Date Earned - 7th April 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Charted! - Crushing #37 - Wanted - Weapons Of Fate (PS3) Spoiler This was an OK third-person shooter, not great or bad, just OK. Trophy-wise, it wasn't too difficult, even the hardest difficulty was pretty forgiving compared to say Uncharted 1's Crushing. The only difficult one was getting all the collectables, and I admit, I used a guide for that in the end. Date Earned - 19th April 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Compulsive Hoarder #38 - inFamous : Second Son (PS4) Spoiler This is actually the inFamous that I have enjoyed the most so far in the series. The gameplay is now really smooth and streamlined. Graphically, this is one of the best video-games I have ever seen on any platform. YouTube videos really don't do it justice. The story was great as well, the interaction between some of the characters was really funny sometimes. Date Earned - 3rd May 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Unstoppable #39 - inFamous : First Light (PS4) Spoiler As usual with the inFamous series, I really enjoyed the game. It was quite short, but for the price point, you'd kind of expect that. The way to think of what this game is like, it's kind of like an DLC story for inFamous : Second Son with challenge maps thrown in. Date Earned - 18th May 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Perfectionist #40 - Star Wars : The Force Unleashed II (PS3) Spoiler Gameplay and graphics wise, this is better than the sequel, however it is incredibly short. Apart from that, it is a good game, it's just such a shame the story was dropped and is no longer canon to the Star Wars universe! Date Earned - 30th May 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Champion #41 - #50 Spoiler #41 - Captain America : Super Soldier (PS3) Spoiler If Green Lantern played like God Of War, then Captain America, you can tell, was definitely inspired by the Batman : Arkham series of games. One of the easiest platinums in my collection as no trophies are missable and the game itself is pretty easy on Normal difficulty and can be finished in around 7-8 hours. Date Earned - 16th June 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Two Hands And A Sword #42 - Star Wars : The Force Unleashed (PS3) Spoiler If you take the hardest difficulty out of it, the platinum was actually not too bad, it was very similar to it's sequel. However, Sith Master difficulty is probably the hardest I have played in this style of game. Somehow, I did this without cheating, which I never thought I would do. I heard that using cheats makes it a lot easier, but I wanted to resist the Dark Side and challenge myself. Date Completed - 21st June 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Sith Master #43 - God Of War : Ascension (PS3) Spoiler The game was good, gameplay and graphics-wise, just like all other entries in the God of War franchise. However, compared to the epicness of the God of War 3 story, the story for Ascension was almost kind of boring in comparison which was a shame. Date Completed - 17th July 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Legendary Warrior #44 - God Of War : Chains Of Olympus (PS3) Spoiler Considering this was originally a PSP game, it holds up surprisingly well on consoles. It plays as well as any of the main numbered series of games. Obviously, the graphics don't hold up so well to entries like GOW 3 and Ascension, but they do the job OK. Date Completed - 8th August 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Piece of Cake #45 - God Of War : Ghost Of Sparta (PS3) Spoiler Compared to Chains of Olympus, I have to say the gameplay was pretty much the same, however I enjoyed the story more in this one. I felt the story in this one was almost good enough to be considered a main numbered entry in the story. Also, the graphics were better than Chains of Olympus, they were pretty much on par with GOW 1 and 2 HD. Date Completed - 17th August 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Zeus May Cry #46 - Super Exploding Zoo! (PS4/Vita) Spoiler I enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. It's a very enjoyable cutesy puzzle/strategy game with a really colourful art style and an easy trophy list. Even the online trophies were easy as I managed to boost them with my Vita and my back-up PSN account. Date Completed - 23rd August 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Prepared For The Ark #47 - Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves (PS3) Spoiler Arguably one of the best third-person adventure games ever made and it improves on the original in every single way possible. I will say that I feel that Crushing was more difficult than the original to beat, but with a little patience, it is definitely possible. Date Completed - 13th September 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Charted! - Crushing #48 - LEGO Lord Of The Rings (PS3) Spoiler This game was awesome, because it reminded me how great the Lord Of The Rings trilogy of movies was as I hadn't seen them in a long time and it does a good job of reminding you how epic it was with the original music and the voice acting, but it also manages to throw in some of the LEGO silliness that we know without overdoing it. Date Completed - 5th October 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - There and Back Again. #49 - Eat Lead : The Return Of Matt Hazard (PS3) Spoiler This was a fairly decent 3rd person cover-based shooter, not anything amazing but it's not that bad either. However, the main thing that makes this game unique is that is essentially a parody of gaming as a whole. I can't even begin to say how many references there are to other games there are so many in here, even the main character Matt Hazard is a poor man's Duke Nukem in my opinion haha. Date Completed - 26th October 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 4/10 Hardest Trophy - Hazard Master #50 - Uncharted 3 : Drake's Deception (PS3) Spoiler This game was all kinds of awesome. I felt that the biggest improvement that they made was the melee combat, which was clearly inspired by the Batman Arkham series of games. Besides that, the gunplay was still as strong as ever, the story was another Hollywood style thrill ride, and the graphics are amongst the best you can get on the PS3. Date Completed - 17th November 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Charted! - Crushing #51 - #60 Spoiler #51 - Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (Vita) Spoiler Not much to say really, I enjoyed it just as much as on the Vita as I did on the PS3, but it was equal parts easier and harder than last time. It was easier because I'd played the game before and knew where some of the more difficult clue bottles were, but it was also harder purely because the controls are a little more difficult on the Vita with the smaller thumb stick and screen. Date Completed - 29th November 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Greedy Raccoon #52 - Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (Vita) Spoiler I was surprised as to how well this port held up compared to the PS3 version, the graphics are pretty much comparable between the two. Unfortunately, it didn't make all the arcade playthroughs any less boring. Very special thanks has to go to CypherNova139 for helping me with the Friendly Competition trophy which got me this platinum. Date Completed - 6th December 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - This Is Living #53 - Lara Croft - Tomb Raider : Legend (PS3) Spoiler Apart from the Excalibur glitch on the penultimate time trial level, which really got me angry (and I hardly ever get angry at games), it was an enjoyable plat with a wide variety of challenge within the trophy list. Date Completed - 23rd December 2015 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - You Wear It Well #54 - The Order 1886 (PS4) Spoiler My first plat of 2016 and I have some mixed feelings about this one! . The graphics, the art direction and the attention to detail in this game are outstanding, the gameplay is pretty solid, and the game is pretty bug and glitch free which is rare these days. Unfortunately, the story was pretty confusing and unfulfilling by the end, and there is zero replay value to this game. Date Completed - 15th January 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Inspector First Class #55 - Final Fantasy VII (PS4) Spoiler Well, this is definitely one platinum that I never thought that I would one day obtain. It might not be the best Final Fantasy ever made, but it is still a great game and for me, probably the most nostalgic videogame of all time, I felt like I was being beaten over the head with nostalgia every 5 minutes haha . Date Completed - 1st Feburary 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Best Bromance #56 - Sly 2 : Band Of Thieves (PS3) Spoiler Platinum trophies really don't come much easier than this one, all you have to do really is just play the game, collect a handful of things, and um, that's it, you don't even technically have to beat the game at the end because it gives you the final trophy just before you perform the final action to beat the boss, so it was kind of anti-climatic in that respect. Date Completed - 28th March 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Soda Popped #57 - Ratchet & Clank : Into The Nexus (PS3) Spoiler It was a very enjoyable but short Ratchet & Clank experience. Having played most of the previous entries, it seems that they took a few different elements from previous entries, such as the arena battles from A Crack In Time, the museum where they revisit old characters and story lines and a planet where you can go out and hunt for crystals (or in this case horns, but it's essentially the same) a la Ratchet & Clank 2. So, I almost look on this game as a sort of 'The Best Of' compilation for Ratchet and Clank. Date Completed - 29th April 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - The Legend #58 - Ratchet & Clank : A Crack In Time (PS3) Spoiler It's weird playing this after Into The Nexus because actually, I would say the graphics in A Crack In Time are far smoother and run better than the next entry 4 years later, which is odd. Gameplay is classic Ratchet and Clank, and the trophies on the whole are pretty easy apart from the infamous My Blaster Runs Really, Really Hot one. Date Completed - 15th May 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - My Blaster Runs Really, Really Hot #59 - Ratchet & Clank (PS4) Spoiler What I liked with this reboot is that if you played the original back in the day like I did, you get all the little nods and references to previous games in the series (particularly the 2002 original) that are scattered throughout, it's a real fan service game in that regard. Graphics + gameplay are top notch also. Date Completed - 16th June 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Safecracker #60 - God Of War III Remastered (PS4) Spoiler I believe this is the first instance where I have earned the platinum on the remastered version of a game I have previously platted before. In this case, I have to say, the remastered version of God Of War III isn't really worth it if you've already played the game on PS3. There isn't a whole hell of a lot of difference to be honest, but it was still fun to play through it again nonetheless. Date Completed - 3rd July 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Unhuman #61 - #70 Spoiler #61 - WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2010 (PS3) Spoiler A mere 6 years and 9 months after beginning this list, I have FINALLY finished it, the biggest gap I have between starting a list and completing it, so far. As for the game itself, it hasn't aged to well to be honest, mainly in terms of the graphics, but it's still pretty fun and the platinum isn't all that difficult to obtain. Date Completed - 20th August 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - And STILL Champion... #62 - Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (PS3) Spoiler Having completed the Mega Drive collection previously, this was not too bad. However, for some reason, I struggled way more on Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine this time around. It seriously took me around about 50-60 attempts to finally beat him. Apart from that, it was fun to play these classics again, and add another relatively easy plat to the collection. Date Completed - 14th September 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Yatta! #63 - Rocket League (PS4) Spoiler Overall, wasn't too difficult, although I did have a bit of trouble with the Far, Far Away trophy. Definitely would recommend this game though, honestly some of the most casual fun I've had on the PS4 so far. Special thanks also goes to Matttrent101 for helping me with the Barras Bravas trophy a while back too! Date Completed - 18th September 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Break Shot #64 - Resident Evil 5 (PS4) Spoiler Much like the God Of War III Remaster before it, if you've played the original on PS3, there's, to be honest, little reason to invest in this title again. Still, I very much enjoyed going back to this after 6 years, it really is a great game IMO. Date Completed - 9th December 2016 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - War Hero #65 - God Of War (Vita) Spoiler My first plat of 2017 and boy is this one a doozy! The rarity of this one really doesn't do it justice of how gosh darn difficult this is. That Challenge 10 of Challenge of The Gods is one of the most frustrating tasks I have ever had to complete in my 20+ year gaming history. Apart from that, the game is still great to play and holds up well on the Vita in my opinion. Date Completed - 6th January 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 10/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - I'll Take The Physical Challenge #66 - God Of War II (Vita) Spoiler Like the original, it held up very well on the Vita system. You could tell it struggled here and there in places and the visual quality is not as good as the PS3 version, but it was still great fun to play. Also, Trophies something not unlocking was a bit of nuisance at times. Date Completed - 18th January 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Bleeding Thumbs #67 - Color Guardians (PS4/Vita) Spoiler This is a great example of what seems like a simple premise on paper, but turns into an interactive experience that really forces you to concentrate hard. I really enjoyed it for what it was and the fact that there wasn't anything too mindbogglingly difficult helped as well. Date Completed - 30th January 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Everybody has a chance #68 - Sonic Generations (PS3) Spoiler Having been a Sonic fan since my childhood, it was a lot of fun to play through, even if I'm not the best at Sonic titles by my own admission. As is the way with some Sonic titles, there are some tricky tasks to collect all the trophies, such as collecting all the Red Star Rings and not being hit by the final boss, but besides that, it was a very enjoyable and relatively easy experience. Date Completed - 26th February 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Can't Touch This #69 - Sly 2 : Band of Thieves (Vita) Spoiler Sly 2 is a good game in essence, however, there are a few frustrating aspects about it. Not even being able to find your way to a mission, let alone undertaking it, largely killed some of the fun for me unfortunately. I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as the 1st one, but it is still fun to play. Date Completed - 2nd March 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Soda Popped #70 - Jak And Daxter : The Precursor Legacy (Vita) Spoiler Much like the original God of War on the Vita, the slightly worse controls and slightly nerfed port of this PS2 classic turn this platinum from slightly to very difficult indeed. While the game is still pretty enjoyable, this is in my opinion, the worse Vita port of a PS2 HD remaster I've played yet, with a noticeably reduced frame rate making for trickier controls. Date Completed - 8th May 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Maximum Power! #71 - #80 Spoiler #71 - Resident Evil 6 (PS4) Spoiler Not much to say about this that hasn't already been said really. It was weird going back to this after Resi 7, seeing how over the top and action film-esque the series had become before it was semi-rebooted. Pretty much plays identically to the PS3 version, it just runs and looks a tad nicer and comes with all the DLC in it for a reasonable price. It is the best version of RE6, but if you disliked the original, steer clear, as nothing has really changed. Even the trophy list is identical. Date Completed - 3rd June 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Heirlooms #72 - Tekken 7 (PS4) Spoiler Being a Tekken fan since the 2nd iteration, and having a tattoo taken straight from this series, I was very much anticipating this game for some time. The end result was pretty good in my opinion, albeit with some notable absentees. The graphics and the core fighting are very top notch indeed, a high point to possibly end the series on. Date Completed - 8th June 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Master Of Iron Fist #73 - The Little Acre (PS4) Spoiler Well, this one is a little bit of a hidden gem, emphasis on the little part, the whole game is 1 1/2 - 2 hours long at best. However, this is a good example of quality over quantity. I haven't played many point and clicks in my time, but that might change if others are of similar quality to this. Really enjoyed it despite it's criminally short length, and one of the easiest plats in PSN history. Date Completed - 21st June 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - The Little Speedrun #74 - Crash Bandicoot (PS4) Spoiler As a veteran of the Crash Bandicoot series for the better part of 20 years, I was really looking forward to this, like a childhood dream game come true. Then, I start dying and struggling an awful lot on the 1st night of playing. Confused, and thinking it was my lack of skill, I then saw other comments and videos of people mentioning it's difficulty. They weren't lying, this is insanely hard, never have I been so frustrated with a challenge in a game until The High Road's time trial. Date Completed - 9th July 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 10/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Practice Makes Perfect! #75 - Crash Bandicoot 2 : Cortex Strikes Back (PS4) Spoiler In my opinion, this is just as, if not more challenging, than Crash 1 in this trilogy re-release (excluding The High Road). The time trials in particular are more challenging as it requires you run at a higher max speed than normal constantly. As such, mistakes are far easier to make this way, even if the jumping is a touch easier than in Crash 1. Date Completed - 22nd July 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Wumpa-Burner Engaged! #76 - Crash Bandicoot 3 : Warped (PS4) Spoiler Crash 3 is the easiest one of the trilogy as others have said. It's still challenging, but not hair tearingly so haha. You don't even need to gather all the gems to finish this one off, which surprised me actually. Date Completed - 9th August 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Boo-yah, Grandma! Boo-yah! #77 - Darksiders Warmastered Edition (PS4) Spoiler Great to replay this underrated gem from the PS3 era once again for the new gen. Playing it through from the start on hardest difficulty was far more difficult than doing 2 playthroughs on the original, but far less time consuming. Date Completed - 2nd November 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - The True Horseman #78 - LEGO Star Wars : The Force Awakens (PS4) Spoiler Another very easy, enjoyable, if grindy, LEGO plat. Mind you, I think all LEGO plats could be summed up with that statement. I've only done 2 of them, but I'm already seeing a trend haha. Date Completed - 6th November 2017 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Force Is Strong With This One #79 - Sly 3 : Honor Among Thieves (PS3) Spoiler I get the feeling that this is most people's least favourite of the original Sly trilogy from PS2. While the 1st is a classic, I actually enjoyed it more than the 2nd one and not just because I didn't get frustrated this time just trying to find missions on the map, never mind do them. Date Completed - 20th January 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - 100% Pure Cooper #80 - Ratchet & Clank (Vita) Spoiler Loved it on PS2 15 years (!) ago and still is just as good now. It ran pretty well on the Vita as well bar a few audio glitches here and there, but the controls, with the L2 and R2 buttons on the back touchpad, made certain aspects such as the hoverboarding much more difficult to control. Date Completed - 4th February 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Twisted Hoverboard #81 - #90 Spoiler #81 - Wolfenstein - The Old Blood (PS4) Spoiler Very good FPS title, plays very solidly, looks great, crunchy explosions, great stuff all round haha. The only real kind of big challenge with the plat on this one were the challenge rooms, they were a real test of patience and accuracy, puts how relatively easy the main game was in retrospect. Date Completed - 14th February 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Prison docks combat master #82 - Wolfenstein - The New Order (PS4) Spoiler Compared to the Old Blood, it was slightly on the easier side due to the fact that there were no challenges to get gold medals on this one and overall, you can definitely tell that is an overall better package. Date Completed - 25th February 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Über hero #83 - Arcade Game Series : Pac-Man (PS4) Spoiler I remember back in college spending day after day playing a free PC version in my IT Class. Never thought that I would plat it on a PlayStation console one day in the future, although I'm still just as bad at it now haha Date Completed - 19th March 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Picky Eater #84 - Arcade Game Series : Ms. Pac-Man (PS4) Spoiler Even with the Cloud save exploit for PS Plus/USB, take it from me, this and the original are far from easy, more frustrating and luck based than anything else. I can see the appeal in Ms. Pac-Man as well as the original, particularly if you grew up playing them in arcades back in the day. Date Completed - 19th March 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Picky Eater #85 - Call of Duty : Modern Warfare Remastered (PS4) Spoiler This game is an absolute FPS classic. In fact, the entire trilogy is I think one of the best videogame trilogies of all time. For me, MW2 is where the real nostalgia lies, as it was my first CoD and first online multiplayer game ever. However, I can see why people love this and why it was so well recieved a decade ago (jeez, I'm old) ?? Date Completed - 14th April 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Mile High Club #86 - Sly 3 : Honor Among Thieves (Vita) Spoiler That's the original Sly trilogy now finished on both PS3 and PS Vita. Overall, I did really enjoy it, and I'm glad I was able to experience it as I never played it originally on PS2 and it is considered one of the premier platforming franchises from that era, which I agree with. Date Completed - 22nd May 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - 100% Pure Cooper #87 - Killzone HD (PS3) Spoiler Sadly, this hasn't aged as particularly well as many other HD re-releases I have played. Modern titles such as Call Of Duty, Battlefield and such have really advanced the FPS genre and made it far more flowing and nice to play compared to this 2004 title. Might sound like I hated this game haha, but it was alright really, there is far worse out there. Date Completed - 3rd June 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - General #88 - Splatterhouse (PS3) Spoiler Pretty decent game. It's not gonna stand out in gaming history like a GTA V or Last of Us, but it's just a good fun, hack-n-slasher with copious amounts of nudity, gore and metal thrown in there, so it was... interesting haha. The only real challenging part was S ranking all the survival arenas. Once you've done that, Hard difficulty becomes such a breeze as you have to get pretty damn good at all the nuances of the game to do the S ranks. Date Completed - 22nd June 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Jason Schmason #89 - LEGO Star Wars III - The Clone Wars (PS3) Spoiler Overall, despite not seeing the Clone Wars TV series that I'm to understand this game is based upon, I still enjoyed this game for the most part. My first LEGO game was the original Star Wars one back on PS2, so it's nice to plat one of them. Date Completed - 29th August 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Impressive, most impressive #90 - LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (PS4) Spoiler Another LEGO plat down, and this one was quite enjoyable actually. The side missions were well done, almost done in a GTA-like style of missions across a city. If you've ever plated a LEGO game before, they all follow a similar formula, and this one's no exception. Being a PS4 launch title, the graphics aren't that much better, but they weren't bad to begin with. Date Completed - 20th September 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - You Win a No-Prize! #91 - #100 Spoiler #91 - Day of the Tentacle Remastered (PS4/Vita) Spoiler It's one of those old-school point and click LucasArts adventures that is much deeper than you initially think. It's quite impressive actually how they programmed in all the different permutations that the player could select. It's a really well made game. As for the trophies, I HAD to follow a guide for this one as you need to do incredibly, unbelievably specific things at specific times and I didn't want to mess up something 1 and a half hours in and have to do the whole game again. Date Completed - 30th September 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Yesterday's News #92 - Uncharted 4 : A Thief's End (PS4) Spoiler That's all the main series of Uncharted games platted (aside from remasters and spinoffs) and what a journey it was. Hard to tell which of the 4 is my personal favourite, but aside from the late game and trophy related repetitiveness, I would actually say number 4. Date Completed - 31st October 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Charted! - Speedrun #93 - Burly Men At Sea (PS4/Vita) Spoiler A fun little indie game this. Basically, it's half visual novel, half point-and-click that can be finished in the average time it takes to watch a movie, and is not in any way taxing that I can remember. Date Completed - 17th November 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 1/10 My Game Rating - 4/10 Hardest Trophy - Nice Day #94 - Spyro The Dragon (PS4) Spoiler It was great to finally play through the original Spyro in full, as I only had the demo of it from the official UK Playstation magazine, way back 20 years ago. But even from the small amount I know, my god, the nostalgia haha. Even weirder, there were some secret (ish) areas that I still remembered how to get to 2 decades later, just awesome. Date Completed - 26th November 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - I'm in the Money! #95 - Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (PS4) Spoiler Not only is this my personal favourite of the original Spyro trilogy by virtue of only having the demo for the first and having never played any of the 3rd one, but the original PS1 version would definitely be in contention for my top 10 favourite games of all time. Like the first game, this is a fantastic re-imagining of the classic 2nd game, although I personally feel that the PS1 original has a little more charm to it, probably due to the nostalgia. Date Completed - 3rd December 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Conservationist 2 #96 - Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late (PS3) Spoiler This was a pretty good beat em up done in the style of Blazblue. That's the nearest game that I can compare it to, but I think done better. I thought that I was going to really struggle on the combo trophies for this one, but actually, a quick bit of research for each one usually yielded a pretty easy solution. Even the Survival mode wasn't too bad with the right solution. Date Completed - 9th December 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?! #97 - Spyro 3 : Year Of The Dragon (PS4) Spoiler First time ever playing the last game in the original Spyro trilogy, and it was pretty damn good. It's pretty much the best elements of the previous 2 games come together to make the best game that they could on the limited hardware at that time. Date Completed - 19th December 2018 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Who's Your Crawdaddy? #98 - LEGO The Hobbit (PS4) Spoiler Another enjoyable LEGO experience. The aspect of the game that makes this one different is the crafting and looting system, which fits in well with the many Dwarf characters in the game. This Plat also marks my 10,000th trophy milestone. Mental haha. Date Completed - 7th January 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - To Be Continued... #99 - Parappa The Rapper Remastered (PS4) Spoiler Had this game back on a PS1 demo disc (Registered Users Demo 3 for those in the UK) and played the first Onion Master stage to death. That was one of my earliest Playstation memories over 20 years ago now. This was the first time playing the full game and it was enjoyable in it's own unique way, apart from maybe Stage 4. Date Completed - 23rd January 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - A Cake You've Never Seen Before #100 - Resident Evil 2 (PS4) Spoiler Like many other people, I was practically chomping at the bit like a zombie for this remake. The build-up and anticipation for this release doesn't come around so often and I'm glad to say that the end result was worth every bit of build-up. Capcom did such a great job of blending familiarity with originality with this remake, it's pretty much a perfect balance. It has a lot of fan service but if you've haven't played an RE title before, it's perfectly fine on it's own. Date Completed - 26th February 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - A Small Carbon Footprint #101 - #110 Spoiler #101 - Prince Of Persia : The Forgotten Sands (PS3) Spoiler Really enjoyed this game once I got into it, it's just really good fun without too much BS like being excessively difficult. Platforming was really good, challenging but forgiving, exactly how it should be. The combat as well was great, didn't fell too repetitive and wasn't too taxing. The graphics were also pretty impressive in places, some of the sun/sand effects looked great, especially for a 2010 title. Date Completed - 5th March 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Got Walkthrough? #102 - Spy Chameleon (PS4/Vita) Spoiler I think this was a PS Plus game from back in mid-2017 that I'd started, enjoyed for a bit and then moved onto something else, kind of like the majority of my backlog. Decided to pick it back up again as I'm finishing old games up. Little did I know the challenge that was ahead of me!! Date Completed - 17th March 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Sprinter #103 - Devil May Cry (PS3) Spoiler I'm happy to have a Devil May Cry platinum finally, especially this one. It's one of the most nostalgic, brilliant games I've ever played on PlayStation, having played it way back on the PS2 in 2003 in school. This game would absolutely be up there in contention for my top 10 games of all time. It's not perfect, far from it, but there's just something about it that makes it like a time capsule to another part of my life. Date Completed - 31st March 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 10/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Combustible!!! #104 - LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean (PS3) Spoiler Literally exactly what you would expect. A retelling of the first 4 POTC films in the LEGO style with all the comedic beats that come along with that.... and.... yeah, that's kind of it. Date Completed - 20th April 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Now bring me that horizon #105 - Mortal Kombat 11 (PS4) Spoiler I'm a massive Mortal Kombat fan, particularly the first live-action movie, which was one of my favourite movies growing up, so I had to pick this up as soon as it came out, and for the most part, it was absolutely worth it. Date Completed - 15th May 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Have We Met #106 - Ratchet : Deadlocked (PS3) Spoiler As with pretty much all Ratchet & Clank titles past and present, this was a literal blast to go through. It's the perfect game to just chill out after work and have fun with shooting and platforming with a little bit of the trademark R&C humour thrown in. Date Completed - 26th May 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Maaaaadd Skills! #107 - Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4) Spoiler The easiest way to sum this up is if Spider-Man had his own Arkham City-style game, it really is exactly like that. Graphics are amazing, controls are pretty much faultless and the story is awesome, like watching a quality Spider-Man movie in it's own right. Date Completed - 26th August 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - I Heart Manhattan #108 - Medievil (PS4) Spoiler It's different enough to the original to not be considered a remaster but it's too similar to not be considered a remake, so I would classify it as a "remakester". Overall, it's great to see the franchise back at all after such a long time and a brand new entry wouldn't go amiss I reckon. Date Completed - 18th November 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Soul Saviour #109 - Call Of Duty Modern Warfare (PS4) Spoiler I really enjoyed Call of Duty this year, probably my favourite one since Black Ops 2 way back when. It's the first time since then that I really got this "new CoD" excitement back and I think Infinity Ward did a good job this year overall. Veteran mode was the easiest in the series yet, tough but very doable. Graphics were absolutely some of the best I've seen though, really outstanding. Gameplay was great too, JUST about different enough to CoD's past to feel new, but still retain that familiarity. Date Completed - 18th November 2019 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Out of the Fire #110 - Star Wars : Jedi Fallen Order (PS4) Spoiler A game of two halves for me. The story portion of it was brilliant, an intriguing story that fits in well with the new canon and the gameplay and graphics were what you would expect from a modern day AAA game in 2019/2020, really good quality. However, the post-game grind for collectables can get in the bin. Date Completed - 15th January 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Collector #111 - #120 Spoiler #111 - Uncharted Drake's Fortune Remastered (PS4) Spoiler Enjoyed going back to the origins of this series after first completing the original 5 years ago. Impressively, it still holds up even to this day, despite being 12+ years old at this stage. Date Completed - 11th February 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Charted! - Crushing #112 - God Of War (2018) (PS4) Spoiler For my money, this is one of the greatest all-round single player games of all time. It does require an element of needing to know what has happened in the story previously to get the full levels of enjoyment out of it, but with a series as good as this, that's not a bad thing. Date Completed - 3rd April 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Fire and Brimstone #113 - Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (PS4) Spoiler This is the game that got me into Call Of Duty and in effect, online gaming as a whole as it was the first one I played religiously back in the day. It baffles me how they released this without the multiplayer. Did they not think that people would ask en masse for that? Oh well, still enjoyed this throwback nonetheless. Date Completed - 19th April 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - The Student Surpasses The Master #114 - Uncharted 2 Among Thieves Remastered (PS4) Spoiler Another enjoyable run through a classic, was just as good as I remember it originally, made better by it running sliky smooth on the PS4. Date Completed - 27th April 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Charted! - Crushing #115 - Truck Racer (PS3) Spoiler Fortunately the platinum only took around 6 hours of gameplay time, because while I enjoyed it initially, by the end, it was getting very samey and repetitive. It's fun as a short arcade-style racer distraction with relatively decent graphics, but not much beyond that really. Date Completed - 31st May 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - A platinum championship #116 - Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception Remastered (PS4) Spoiler Completed the Uncharted trilogy now for the 2nd time through and enjoyed it every bit as much as the 1st. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually do prefer Uncharted 3 as my favourite from the original trilogy. It just seems like a more complete story somehow. Date Completed - 7th June 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Charted! - Crushing #117 - Jak and Daxter : The Precusor Legacy (PS4) Spoiler I believe this is the first game that I have platted individually across all 3 current PS systems, all 3 years apart from each other, which is weird. I never really get tired or bored of this game, it's just a nice way to chill out with a fun platformer for a few hours each day and it doesn't overstay it's welcome either. Nothing too difficult and somehow, I still remember many areas and what to do even years later. Date Completed - 1st July 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Maximum Power! #118 - Resident Evil 3 (PS4) Spoiler Overall, I enjoyed this game, especially on the initial playthrough when everything is completely new and fresh. It is pretty much a continuation of the kind of quality that RE2 Remake had established, only it is far, far too short in comparison. I just don't understand though why they would take big content like the Clock Tower area and Mercenaries mode from the PS1 original completely out. What a bizarre decision. Date Completed - 10th August 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Jill Valentine #119 - Cuphead (PS4) Spoiler I don't think I've ever been so stressed at trying to finish a platinum and yet enjoyed it so much as I have this one. Probably my most difficult platinum so far. I would best describe this game as the Dark Souls of side scrolling platformers in a 1930's aesthetic. The graphics are super colourful and smooth and it controls impeccably well, but my god is it unforgiving in it's difficulty. Date Completed - 8th November 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 10/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Beat The Devil At His Own Game #120 - Star Wars Battlefront II (PS4) Spoiler This is likely going to be my final platinum before the launch of PS5 over here in the UK and being a huge Star Wars fan, this is a pretty good way to see out the generation, although I will still continue to play all the Playstation legacy formats going forward. It looks absolutely stunning still, it plays quite well and conveys a really authentic Star Wars experience. Plus now that most of the microtransaction crap has been removed and you get a more logical system progression, it's an all round blast for Star Wars fans and covers all 3 trilogies. It is a shame that DICE have cut support for the game at this point as there is still untapped potential, but what there is, I did enjoy. Date Completed - 11th November 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Multi-tasking #121 - #130 Spoiler #121 - Astro's Playroom (PS5) Spoiler Sony have really outdone themselves with this decision to include such a fun 8-10 hour platformer completely for free for everyone who buys a PS5. It was such a trip to go through the entirety of PlayStation's history and to relive so many memories having been a loyal PlayStation player since 1998. To find all the easter eggs and references was an utter joy.The game itself isn't half bad either. It really is a fantastic showcase of all the new console's features, such as the beautiful graphics and performance, the lighting fast and genuinely impressive SSD (that song in this game is amazing) and of course, the DualSense. Date Completed - 24th November 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - A Grand Tour! #122 - Mortal Kombat 11 (PS5) Spoiler Was a breeze going through this game for a second time as many of the trophies auto popped starting them again. As far as the difference between this and the PS4 version, there isn't too much tbf, besides the improved graphics/resolution and drastically improved load times (seriously, it loads in like 2-3 seconds, if that). Other than that, it is pretty much exactly the same, but I hadn't played it since originally getting the platinum about 18 months prior, so re-learning the game again was a challenge lol. Date Completed - 13th December 2020 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Total Disrespect #123 - Middle Earth : Shadow Of Mordor (PS4) Spoiler Overall, I enjoyed the game and I liked how it tied in well with the larger Lord Of The Rings story. Without that context, I'm not sure how enjoyable the game is though. The graphics were not too bad considering it is around 6 years old at this point and the trophies were a good enjoyable mix of story, side stuff, collectables and of course, the Nemesis system which I didn't fully understand until right towards the end but I did like what they did with it. Date Completed - 2nd February 2021 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Stinking Rebels #124 - LEGO Batman 2 : DC Super Heroes (PS3) Spoiler Liked the Gotham City open-world main hub in this one, that was pretty cool and it ran surprisingly well, considering it was running on PS3. Apart from that, yeah, not much I can say really, a nice chill game to play after work/on the weekends since it doesn't require too much in the way of thought/concentration, apart from some of the Minikits/Gold Bricks being a tad confusing. Date Completed - 21st March 2021 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - The End #125 - Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (PS4) Spoiler Out of 7, 8 and 10, this is my least favourite of the Final Fantasy trilogy that I grew up playing but I still have great nostalgic memories of it from back in the day, so it was a lot of fun to replay this for the first time in over 15 years(!). Fundamentally, this game is flawed, in a lot of ways, but there's just something about it that still made it very entertaining to stick with and I can't put my finger on exactly what. Maybe it's the amazing soundtrack, the production values of it's time, or the sheer hype of the Final Fantasy name itself. Date Completed - 29th May 2021 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - End of Game #126 - Jak X : Combat Racing (PS4) Spoiler Despite playing the Jak trilogy across 3 different Playstation console generations, this is my very first time playing the 2005 racing spin-off (pun intended) originally released on PS2. Naughty Dog is no strangers to racing spin-offs of their franchises, as seen in Crash Team Racing. While it wasn't quite on the level of that game, I still quite enjoyed it. Date Completed - 31st May 2021 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Unanswered #127 - Star Wars : Jedi Fallen Order (PS5) Spoiler Already finished this once before and really enjoyed it, so had to do the PS5 version as well. I could have auto-synced it to get the plat right away, but I wanted to give it another full run through, not only 'cause it's great, but to see what the PS5 upgrade has to offer. Date Completed - 18th July 2021 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - A Galaxy Far, Far Away #128 - LEGO Batman 3 : Beyond Gotham (PS4) Spoiler Like all the other LEGO games I've played prior to this, it is reliably entertaining for the most part, but man, so many collectables, almost to a fault. I suppose though that you definitely get your money's worth with the amount of content in it. Date Completed - 11th January 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Bat's all, folks #129 - Ratchet & Clank 3 (Vita) Spoiler I definitely get a new sense of appreciation for these Vita ports of the classic Ratchet & Clank trilogy after playing the Jak trilogy ports on the same platform, which are so bad in comparison. So bad in fact that it makes the platinums for those games on the Vita damn near impossible for myself. Date Completed - 29th January 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Skill Master #130 - Uncharted : The Lost Legacy (PS4) Spoiler Great game this, proof that Uncharted doesn't necessarily need Nathan Drake in it to succeed. You can sort of tell it was originally meant to be a DLC for the the 4th main instalment, as things like the HUD, menus etc are all identical, but it works great as a standalone and I think that was the right decision ultimately. Date Completed - 24th May 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Best Driver In The Buisness #131 - #140 Spoiler #131 - Gran Turismo 7 (PS5) Spoiler This is a fantastic new game in the franchise, taking a lot of elements from GT Sport and fully fleshing them out into a numbered entry. The graphics are basically 99.9% real at this point and the driving physics are really impressive, the kind of quality you would expect from Polyphony Digital. Date Completed - 2nd June 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Hard Work Pays Off #132 - SpongeBob Squarepants - Battle For Bikini Bottom : Rehydrated (PS4) Spoiler This game reminded me a lot of the Spyro series, I think the developers of this back in 2003 took heavy inspiration. Overall, I did enjoy it, although the level design could be a bit confusing at times as how to get certain items, such as spatulas, some of them were Uncharted levels of hidden. Date Completed - 5th June 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - 100% SpongeBob #133 - Resident Evil 3 (PS5) Spoiler Overall, I enjoyed this game, especially on the initial playthrough when everything is completely new and fresh. It is pretty much a continuation of the kind of quality that RE2 Remake had established, only it is far, far too short in comparison. I just don't understand though why they would take big content like the Clock Tower area and Mercenaries mode from the PS1 original completely out. What a bizarre decision. Date Completed - 14th June 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 0/10 (Autopopped) My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - N/A #134 + #135 - Kurushi (PS5 + PS4) Spoiler I have such fond memories of playing the demo of this on the very first demo disc that came with my PS1 way back in February 1998. Maybe this explains why I found this platinum such a breeze, the 24-year-old muscle memory kicked right back in like I just played it yesterday. It was such a quick, easy game to finish I thought I might as well double down and finish both versions. Date Completed - 25th and 26th June 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - Perrrfffect/10 (5/10) Hardest Trophy - Final Countdown #136 + #137 - Syphon Filter (PS5 + PS4) Spoiler Syphon Filter is a classic 3rd person shooter/stealth game from the future creators of Days Gone, from 1999, inspired by Metal Gear Solid, which released a year prior. While it doesn't quite hold up to the smooth gameplay standards of today, it still is enjoyable for the most part. The most memorable part for me though is the music/voice acting, the music especially is just so classic. Date Completed - 13th and 14th July 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Droppin' Choppers #138 + #139 - Ape Escape (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler Overall, I quite enjoyed it. For it's time especially, it's really well done. Graphics are good, gameplay is good for a first-time use of the analog sticks especially, and the soundtrack is probably the best part, some great music in this. Date Completed - 30th July + 1st August 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Money Bags #140 - Resident Evil 2 (PS5) Spoiler Not much at all has changed from the PS4 version. From what I could tell, visually there was little difference and the only additions were DualSense features. Other than that, yeah it's the same. It's like having an amazing supercar, then buying the slightly more powerful version that comes out a few years later. Both are just as good as each other, but the latest version is just a tiny bit more well-rounded. Date Completed - 14th August 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - A Small Carbon Footprint #141 - #150 Spoiler #141 - FIA European Truck Racing Championship (PS4) Spoiler Weird that I have 2 platinums now based on truck racing, yet I've never even seen any of the real life sport, go figure haha, This one was very easy if you have even a modicum of racing knowledge, became a bit of a boring grind towards the end as well. Date Completed - 3rd October 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Conquerer of all #142 + #143 - Syphon Filter 2 (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler Syphon Filter 2 was my favourite of the original trilogy growing up, and still holds up fairly well to this day, a whole 22 years later. I just hope now that we get the 3rd game in the trilogy re-released with trophies at some point. Date Completed - 4th + 6th October 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Don't Hurt Me, I Just Work Here #144 + #145 - Everybody's Golf (PS5 + PS4) Spoiler My first memory of the Everybody's Golf franchise was playing the demo of the 2nd game back in the day. Turns out Everybody's Golf 2 wasn't much different at all from the 1st game, it felt extremely familiar despite me not playing the 1st game before. Date Completed - 16th + 22nd October 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Holey Smokes! #146 + #147 - Pinball Heroes (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler This would have been pretty cool back in the day to have a portable pinball title with PlayStation IP tables. In the emulation, however, the controls are a little off, so it's not quite as good, but I still had a good time with it, despite being rubbish at pinball haha. Date Completed - 30th + 31st December 2022 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Take the Plunge #148 - Everybody's Golf 2 (PS4) Spoiler Largely more of the same compared to the first game. The PlayStation mascot cameos, such as Sweet Tooth and Sir Dan Fortesque were a nice surprise, but that Albatross trophy was quite insane. Date Completed - 23rd January 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Spread Your Wings #149 - Syphon Filter 3 (PS4) Spoiler Not much different to the first 2 games, but more of the same is good when it comes to Syphon Filter. I grew up really enjoying this PS1 trilogy, so it's really cool to platinum all 3 some 20 years later. Date Completed - 24th January 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - End of an Era #150 - Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy (PS5) Spoiler I had heard good things about this game going in, and they were right. It's kind of like Uncharted meets Mass Effect, set in the MCU. It takes the funny banter between the characters from Uncharted and combines it with the dialogue/branching choices (albeit on a smaller scale) from Mass Effect. It also looked fantastic and ran well at 4K on the PS5 version. If that sounds good, I would definitely recommend playing it. Date Completed - 25th February 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Lore Hoarder #151 - #160 Spoiler #151 - Syphon Filter 3 (PS5) Spoiler Not much different to the first 2 games, but more of the same is good when it comes to Syphon Filter. I grew up really enjoying this PS1 trilogy, so it's really cool to platinum all 3 some 20 years later. Date Completed - 28th February 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - End of an Era #152 + #153 - Super Stardust Portable (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler This portable version, originally on PSP but re-released for PS4 and PS5, is very similar to the PS3 HD original and is a gaming formula that still works. It is a enjoyable twin-stick like shooter in the style of games like Smash TV. Date Completed - 30th April + 1st May 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Late Boomer #154 - Everybody's Golf 2 (PS5) Spoiler Largely more of the same compared to the first game. The PlayStation mascot cameos, such as Sweet Tooth and Sir Dan Fortesque were a nice surprise, but that Albatross trophy was quite insane. Date Completed - 7th May 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Spread Your Wings #155 - Ape Academy 2 (PS4) Spoiler Overall, I enjoyed it, it was something a little different, which is good, but I will wait a bit before doing the PS5 version as it got a little repetitive and very grindy toward the end, but it was fairly easy overall. Date Completed - 19th June 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - A is for Ape #156 - Ratchet & Clank : Rift Apart (PS5) Spoiler It's great to see the series come as far as it has over the years having played pretty much every entry there is. Rift Aprt is very technically impressive and graphically amazing. Highly recommend this game, you won't regret playing it! Date Completed - 1st July 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - UnBEARably Awesome #157 - Sonic Origins Plus (PS5) Spoiler My very first videogame that was ever bought for me when I was 5 years old was Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on the Master System. I instantly became a mega fan of Sonic, would buy Sonic The Comic's here in the UK and would try to play every entry on the PlayStation that I could. Now 30 years later, it's pretty cool to obtain the platinum in the original trilogy on the Genesis/Mega Drive, along with Sonic & knuckles and Sonic CD. Date Completed - 1st August 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Super Sonic #158 - Jak II (PS4) Spoiler My favourite of the Jak series and the only one I have completed previously on the PS2. This was a lot harder than I remember it being, I guess modern day games really are a lot easier in general. If you're having trouble with this platinum, I recommend looking up the debug menu method. Date Earned - 2nd August 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Pedal to the Metal #159 + #160 - Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler Resident Evil 7 is both a continuation and a soft reboot of the franchise after the over-the-top 6th entry in the series. What's unique about RE7 is that you do not need to have played any of the previous Resident Evil titles to fully appreciate the experience (save for one brief cameo at the end). It's kind of it's own self-contained story, which feels aimed at bringing in new fans, while satisfying existing ones by focusing more on the horror aspect compared to RE6. Date Completed - 29th + 31st August 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Who's Your Daddy Now? #161 - #170 Spoiler #161 + #162 - Twisted Metal (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler I'd never played any Twisted Metal title prior to this, so having gone in completely fresh, for it's time, I actually quite enjoyed it. Obviously, by modern standards, it can't really compare, but it was still a decent amount of fun. Date Completed - 18th + 22nd September 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Tank You for the Memories #163 - Horizon Zero Dawn : Complete Edition (PS4) Spoiler Really enjoyed the first Horizon game. The graphics upscaled and smoother on PS5 are fantastic, the gameplay is fun and engaging and the story was great, definitely could be adapted into a film one day. Trophy list was fun and varied too. All around, a great package. Date Completed - 16th October 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Blazing Suns at all Grounds #164 + #165 - Jet Moto (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler This was my first time playing this classic PS1 racer from back in the day, I liked it. Obviously, because it is from 1996, it has aged a bit, at least graphically, but it was good to experience this classic Sony IP for the first time. Date Completed - 22nd + 24th November 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Last One Standing #166 - Pursuit Force (PS4) Spoiler I remember someone in my college playing this on their PSP back in the day and I thought it looked pretty cool, but I was too poor at the time to buy a PSP sadly. Little did I know how damn difficult this game is haha. It was very challenging, even with the rewind feature, don't know how people did it without it. Glad I've finally played it though. Date Completed - 16th December 2023 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Dragon's Fury #167 - Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster (PS4) Spoiler First plat of 2024 and a good way to start it off with the origins of one of my favorite game franchises ever. It's one of the few platinums I have for a game that is older than me lol. Date Completed - 18th January 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Field Research - Professional #168 - Tekken 8 (PS5) Spoiler I have been playing the series since 1998 with Tekken 2 and I can confidently say that this is up there with some of the absolute best that the franchise has to offer. It's hard to really think of many faults to be honest, I feel they did the best job that they possibly could. Date Completed - 4th February 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - (Initiating Analysis) #169 - Pursuit Force : Extreme Justice (PS4) Spoiler Compared to the original Pursuit Force, everything has been improved, which is exactly what you want from a sequel. The graphics are improved, the gameplay is better and more varied, the difficulty is far easier and adjustable and there is overall just more content on offer too. Date Completed - 29th February 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Cowboy #170 - PowerWash Simulator (PS5) Spoiler What a unique experience this was. It was my first proper experience of a "simulator" style game, and I had no idea what to expect going in. Turns out, I would enjoy this so much, it ended up being my 6th most played game across all PS4 and PS5 titles, and I even ended up buying the DLC for it, which I NEVER usually do. Date Completed - 4th March 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Gold Standard #171 - #180 Spoiler #171 + #172 - Jet Rider 2 (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler Much like the original, I never played this one prior to it's PS4/PS5 re-release. It is a very similar game to the first one in almost every aspect. I noticed a slight graphical improvement, and there was overall more content, but gameplay wise, it felt nearly identical. Dates Completed - 5th and 6th March 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Abyss Watcher #173 + #174 - Rally Cross (PS4 + PS5) Spoiler Prior to this being re-released on the PS Plus Premium service, I'll be honest, I hadn't even heard of this series before, somehow managed to slip under my radar for some 26 years. Date Completed:- 9th March 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Hard to Beat #175 - Ratchet & Clank 2 (Vita) Spoiler For the most part, this is a reasonable Vita port of the HD rerelease of Ratchet & Clank 2 that runs much better than the comparable Jak ports on the system. However, the flight controls make it 10x harder to get the platinum than any other version. Date Completed - 18th March 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 10/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Platinum Power #176 - Jak 3 (PS4) Spoiler I still think that Jak 2 is probably the best of the trilogy, but, I thought it was really good and told a good, funny at times, story. Date Earned - 19th March 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - The Orbiter Of Record #177 - Jak 2 (Vita) Spoiler Still my favourite of the original Jak trilogy, it holds a lot of nostalgic memories for me, but the Vita port is pretty rough all round. Date Completed - 20th March 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 9/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Who Knew Krew Blew? #178 - Jak 3 (Vita) Spoiler And with that, the original Jak trilogy is now fully complete across all 3 systems that support trophies for it. It took me about 10 years in all, started on the PS3, finished the PS4 versions, then I gave up on the Vita versions for a long time as the ports were pretty bad, so much so that I found it hard to control and just finish the games. Date Completed - 23rd March 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Taking Him Down 100% Completed Non-Platinum Games #1 - #10 Spoiler #1 - Virtua Fighter 2 (PS3) Spoiler Old by today standards, I'm sure this was awesome back in the day. Only took a couple of hours to 100% it. Date Completed - 5th December 2012 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 4/10 Hardest Trophy - Excellent #2 - Sonic The Fighters (PS3) Spoiler Yeah, not the best fighting game by any stretch of the imagination, but at least it only took less than 20 minutes to 100% it. Date Completed - 7th April 2013 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 2/10 Hardest Trophy - Perfect #3 - After Burner Climax (PS3) Spoiler This was pretty enjoyable, it's like having a free-to-play arcade in you home haha. Date Completed - 18th June 2013 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - All Clear! #4 - Resident Evil 4 (PS3) Spoiler I would have to say that if it comes down to it, I would probably consider this in my top 10 of favourite games of all time. I played it though, not exaggerating, about 6 times on the PS2, and I bought it again on the PS3 just so I could play through it again with updated visuals. Date Completed - 7th December 2013 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - A Heart Of Steel #5 - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue (PS3) Spoiler It's weird having a trophy list for what is essentially a demo, but that is what this is. Not much else to say, pretty easy trophy list. Date Completed - 24th May 2014 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Are you even trying? #6 - Tekken Revolution (PS3) Spoiler If you have not played the Tekken series before, I recommend starting with this free-to-play one. It's free (obviously) and it's very simplified for newcomers. Date Completed - 10th June 2014 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Rising in the Ranks #7 - Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (PS3) Spoiler Yeah, you couldn't really ask for an easier trophy list. I haven't actually watched the cut scenes yet, which explains how I got the 100% in under 3 minutes, but I'll probably watch them in the run up to Kingdom Hearts 2 HD. Date Completed - 16th June 2014 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 0/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - 358/2 Days Master #8 - Soulcalibur Lost Swords (PS3) Spoiler Apart from the classic fun SoulCalibur gameplay, this game is dull, boring and repetitive. Why there is no multiplayer in a game where you need to be connected to PSN to play it is beyond me. Was glad to get this out of the way. Date Completed - 4th July 2014 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 2/10 Hardest Trophy - Armored Soul #9 - Alex Kidd In Miracle World (PS3) Spoiler This one is special for me because this is literally the first video game I ever played. It came built into my original SEGA Master System II and back then I could never beat it lol. I still find it frustratingly hard even today, but now that you can save wherever you like, I can finally get through it. Date Completed - 6th July 2014 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Amazing Score #10 - Kingdom Hears Re:coded (PS3) Spoiler Just like the first collection, the section with the HD cut-scenes has the easiest trophies you'll earn outside of just booting a game. You can earn 3 gold and 2 bronze trophies in 5 minutes with next to no effort required as long as you skip all the cutscenes, which would take over 3 hours to watch normally. Date Completed - 9th December 2014 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 0/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Re:coded Master #11 - #20 Spoiler #11 - Altered Beast (PS3) Spoiler Another Mega Drive classic with a pretty easy 100%. Not much to say really. Special thanks to PSN user Shadiochao for helping me with the only online trophy. Date Completed - 1st February 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 3/10 Hardest Trophy - Untouchable #12 - New Paint Park (Vita) Spoiler All this really is is Paint for Windows as an app on the Vita with an absurdly easy trophy list. Oh well, at least I have my first 100% on the Vita now Date Completed - 3rd March 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 1/10 My Game Rating - 2/10 Hardest Trophy - Artists know how to mix! #13 - Super Hang-On (PS3) Spoiler This is an arcade/Mega-Drive classic that I used to play in the arcades when I was a kid. In my opinion, it's held up pretty well for it's age, considering it's older than me! Date Completed - 16th March 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Thank You! Thank You! #14 - inFamous : Festival of Blood (PS3) Spoiler This was a cool Halloween-themed expansion to inFamous 2 which I really enjoyed, even though it was quite short. The fact that they theorised that vampires may be Conduits was a cool spin on things. Date Completed - 22nd March 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Bleeder's Digest #15 - Golden Axe (PS3) Spoiler Everyone knows this classic side-scroller. It's still really unforgiving to play after all these years. This was actually my first time playing the Mega-Drive/Genesis version as I used to play the Master System version back in the day. Special thanks to PSN user Arthmarellion for helping me with the online trophy. Date Completed - 22nd March 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Perfect Win #16 - Gunstar Heroes (PS3) Spoiler This was my first time playing this side-scrolling shoot-em up, and although I enjoyed it, it was very challenging even on Easy difficulty and took multiple re-tries. Date Completed - 23rd March 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Complete The Game #17 - Welcome Park (Vita) Spoiler A nice free "game" they give you for the Vita on boot-up. To be fair, it dos a pretty good job of teaching you the features of the system and it has a challenging trophy list to boot with a fake platinum for finishing the list. Date Completed - 8th July 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 4/10 Hardest Trophy - Digit Chase Prize #18 - The Revenge Of Shinobi (PS3) Spoiler Another Mega-Drive/Genesis classic down. Thank god for the save feature that they implemented in the PS3 version, otherwise this would have been impossible. If you managed to complete this back in the day, I have nothing but respect for you because this was brutally hard. Date Completed - 12th July 2015 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - For Naoko. For peace. Shinobi forever! #19 - Virtua Fighter 5 : Final Showdown (PS3) Spoiler The original Virtua Fighter 5 was my first PS3 game before trophies even existed, I used to play it quite a bit towards the end of 2007, so I have some experience with the game prior to this which helped with getting the 100%. Date Completed - 9th January 2016 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Ten Tests Complete #20 - Resident Evil 4 (PS4) Spoiler Finished this masterpiece off for the 2nd time now. Despite a slightly lazy port and the distinct lack of a platinum, of which we all know about, it was still amazing fun to play through this game for a 10th, and then a 11th time. Date Completed - 23rd October 2016 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - A Heart Of Steel #21 - #30 Spoiler #21 - Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (PS3) Spoiler Although personally I am used to the Master System version of Sonic 2, the Genesis version is an undisputed classic, and I'm glad to get the 100% finally done after 6 years haha. The Chaos Emeralds were challenging though. Date Completed - 15th July 2017 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 9/10 Hardest Trophy - Conquering Time #22 - Sonic The Hedgehog (PS3) Spoiler Where it all began. Not only one of the best, but also one of the most important video games ever made. Trophies were easier than Sonic 2 thanks to exploitation of the save mechanic. How people used to do this back in the day without it, I do not know. Date Completed - 17th July 2017 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 8/10 Hardest Trophy - Fast Win #23 - The Playroom (PS4) Spoiler An interesting little pre-installed title utilising the PS camera. Some of the DLC's were fairly challenging, especially the Ninja one, but nothing that anyone can't get without the use of a guide. Annoying that it can't currently be deleted on any PS4 though after you've finished. Date Completed - 3rd Sept 2017 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 6/10 (Co-Op), 8/10 (Solo) My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Shruiken Master #24 - Joe's Diner (PS4) Spoiler I honestly don't know how this got a PS4 release, I've played better PS1 games. What content there is (which isn't much) is boring, repetitive and frustrating, the total game area is probably less than Nuke-town from Call of Duty, graphics are passable at best. Just don't bother with this, one of the worst games I've ever played, would be in my top 10 worst for sure. Date Completed - 7th January 2018 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 8/10 My Game Rating - 1/10 Hardest Trophy - Survive Joe's Diner! #25 - Ape Escape 2 (PS4) Spoiler Remember playing this on a PS2 demo disc about 15 (!) years ago, it was good fun. Also, according to this site, this is my 100th 100% completed title over a period of 9 years. Wouldn't have thought that my 100th one would be a PS4 re-release of a PS2 title, but there you go haha. Date Completed - 17th April 2018 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Perfect Score #26 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Turtles In Time Re-Shelled (PS3) Spoiler Never played the original on SNES, but it was a good fun, Golden Axe style 2D hack n slash. Date Completed - 7th May 2018 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - I Will Survive #27 - Pac-Man Championship Edition DX (PS3) Spoiler Much easier than your regular game of Pac-Man, due to slow-down when you get close to the ghosts and the use of bombs as well, so it wasn't to difficult, just a bit grindy with the time trials. Date Completed - 7th Feburary 2019 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Time Trial Completed #28 - Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse (PS3) Spoiler Really enjoyable 2013 remake of the classic Mega Drive/Genesis game from the early 1990's. Apart from a few of the collectables, it was not too difficult overall. A short, sweet, charming platformer. Date Completed - May 7th 2019 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Money Bags #29 - Daytona USA (PS3) Spoiler I remember playing this to death in the arcades when I was much younger and certainly before I could drive in real life and suffice to say, I didn't fare too well haha, but I did really enjoy it and how loud it was too. Date Completed - 30th June 2019 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 1/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - YOU JUST LOST YOUR... #30 - DOOM 64 (PS4) Spoiler Saw that this was super cheap on the store and decided to give it a bash as I'm always up for a bit of old school, especially seeing as though I never owned a Nintendo 64 back in the day. Had no idea that the trophies would be so relatively easy. Enjoyed it for what it was. Date Completed - 27th March 2020 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Escape Artist #31 - #40 Spoiler #31 - Kung Fu Rabbit (PS3) Spoiler Fun little platformer this. Not much to it, but good to chill and relax playing. Some of the later sections were a bit tough but wasn't too challenging. Date Completed - 11th May 2020 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 4/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - GRAND DRAGON #32 - Arkedo Series - 01 Jump! (PS3) Spoiler This was a fun little side scrolling platformer only made by a handful of developers and I enjoyed my time with it. It was very colourful and held up surprisingly well given it's age, even if it was very short. I will see if I can 100% the series eventually, although the others definitely look more challenging. Date Completed - 12th January 2021 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Treasure hunter #33 - WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS4) Spoiler Was supposed to be WWE All Stars 2, but it just missed the mark and didn't click together right. It's alright, it just doesn't measure up to it's predecessor. The difficulty of the AI certainly doesn't help the enjoyment of this game, they reverse almost every move attempted, gets very annoying. Date Completed - 16th November 2021 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Invincible #34 - Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon (PS3) Spoiler Very fun little game, glad to go back and finally finish this. Best way I could describe it is a short Far Cry 3 set in the 80s where the main character is a Duke Nukem/Deadpool hybrid character. Date Completed - 21st February 2022 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - The Only True Stopper #35 - Another World - 20th Anniversary Edition (PS3, PS4, Vita) Spoiler Oh my, was this one frustrating at times haha. I get it though, it was programmed and intended to be that way originally. While it doesn't hold up to modern standards being a 1991 title, I'm glad I went back and played this, it felt like I was experiencing a part of gaming history I never knew about before. Date Completed - 9th June 2022 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - The End #36 - Mahjong (PS4) Spoiler Very simple 100%, just complete 70 levels of basic MahJong. No difficulty increases, just a bit of a relaxing 10 silver trophy grind. Date Completed - 28th August 2022 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 2/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - CLEAR 70 LEVELS #37 - Feeding Frenzy 2 (PS3) Spoiler A fun PS3 port of an arcade PC game that only took me a mere 12 years to getting around to completing 100% Date Completed - 19th September 2022 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Fast Food #38 + #39 - Flower (PS4 + PS3) Spoiler Finally got around to finishing these off. Not much in the way of differences between the PS3 and PS4 versions, other than the camera was way worse in the PS3 version, weird. Oh, and the PS3 version took me nearly 13 years to finish lol. Date Completed - 27th + 30th October 2022 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 5/10 My Game Rating - 6/10 Hardest Trophy - Pure #40 - Bejeweled 2 (PS3) Spoiler Took me 14 and a half years to get around to finishing this, as I couldn't do the Dimensional Rift trophy, which required you to have 5 Hypercubes on the game board at the same time. Making Hypercubes basically involves matching 5 gems in a row. After seeing a published Trophy Guide though, I decided to give it another go and use the save reloading technique, and it worked!! Date Completed - 11th March 2024 My 100% Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Dimensional Rift Edited Sunday at 01:01 AM by SirDave1988

Can't even imagine getting the Final Fantasy X trophy within my lifetime.... Thanks pal, you too ?. Well, I had a lot of experience of the PS2 version of FFX, which was very valuable for me, but even then, I still needed a guide to make sure I did everything in the right order when I needed to do it. It is absolutely do-able, way more so than IX say, the battle system in it gives you time to think about your moves, which helps loads. The main thing is making sure you do certain things before they're locked out for good.
