The points will then be added to the players score, all regular points will be awarded at time of playing. Less Than 5 Hours - 1 pt 5 to 10 Hours - 3 pts 11 to 20 Hours - 5 pts 21 to 30 Hours - 10 pts 31 to 40 Hours - 15 pts 41 to 60 Hours - 20 pts 61 to 80 Hours - 50 pts 81 - 100 - 75 pts 100 + Hours - 100 pts Games with DLC Due to the fact that PSNprofiles tracks 100% completion times any games that have released DLC will not have their platinum time judged using the Top 50 times method. As an alternative any game that falls into this category will have their length determined by : 1. The time listed by the trophy guide on PSNprofiles 2. In the event there is no guide on PSNprofiles then the time listed on the trophy guide on playstationtrophies.org Platinum Based on Rarity Additional Points will be awarded based on Platinum Rarity percentage as listed below. Rarity is determined by the percentage listed on PsnProfiles. All games must be out for a minimum of 1 month, therefore any new games played (within the one month release) will have the additional points held until one month after release to determine accurate Rarity. The points will then be added to the players score, all regular points will be awarded at time of playing. Common Rarity - 1 pt Uncommon Rarity - 3 pts Rare Rarity - 5 pts Very Rare Rarity - 10 pts Ultra Rare Rarity - 20 pts 1. The time listed by the trophy guide on PSNprofiles 2. In the event there is no guide on PSNprofiles then the time listed on the trophy guide on playstationtrophies.org There are 3 categories for earning points in the league. 1. Regular gameplay In this category you will receive points based on the bronze/silver/gold and platinum trophies you earn from all games played within the duration of the league. The amount of points earned for the Platinum trophy will be determined by the Additional Point categories - Platinum Based on Time and Platinum Based on Rarity. You will only earn points once for each game you play ( therefore you can't play the PS3 / PS4 / Vita version of a game for multiple points. The only exception is where the game has a separate trophy list for each platform. There will be no auto popping of trophies allowed. 2. Golden Games Each competitor will nominate 4 PS3/4 unplayed games (0% or not on profile) . One game (unplayed by all competitors ) per month will be chosen randomly. This game will be awarded a 2x multiplier for all trophies earned in the game in the month PLUS 50 bonus points if platted in the month. 3. Backlog games Each competitor will nominate 5 games from their backlog (under 5% completion or not on your profile). The games can be played at anytime throughout the league and will occur a bonus of 100 points if the platinum is achieved. Additionally all regular points plus Additional points will apply ( Platinum Based on Time and Rarity ). The Time and Rarity of the platinum will be determined as of 1st of January 2017. About the time points would it be better going by the estimated completion time from trophy guides. The top 50 time on PSNP isnt a good representation of time as a 50 hour game could be a week or a few days. Also many games do not have guides (or accurate times). I take your point on real time vs game play time. Regardless though I think by using the top 50 times the only games disadvantaged are the 20hr and under (10hr and under will be most disadvantaged) . Or is it actually possible to get a 2 point plat trophy? I think the 10 point base + adjustments for time and rarity would be appropriate. Yep the the old 10 pt for a platinum is gone now so it would be technically possible to just get 2pts for the plat if it was common and under 5 hours.
