We’re less than one month away from the release of Gravity Rush 2, and I’m thrilled to bring you an update on some of the high-falling action that’s headed your way before launch. First and foremost, we have an original anime production ‘Gravity Rush Overture’ created by the famed anime studio Studio Khara that bridges the gap in story that takes place between Gravity Rush and Gravity Rush 2. I’m happy to announce that the anime will be available for all to see on our PlayStation YouTube Channel on 26th December from 4pm. The odds of my resolve crumbling and downloading this game is pretty high (I'd give it a 75% chance), however, I intend to wait until the full game comes out. At least those screenshots in the OP are beautiful. Can't wait to watch the animated short when it comes out next week! Up until I saw the news for the demo I didn't even realize that it's less than one month until the game releases. I won't play the demo since I won't be able to get GR2 immediately on release, but I will definitely watch the anime episode before I pick the game up. Cynthia-Roses Posted December 21, 2016 Share Posted December 21, 2016 I was so glad they re-released Gravity Rush on the PS4 because I didn't have a Vita at the time it came out (I do now) but now I have a reason to pick up the first game even more! This way you could pretend that you aren't watching an anime with CG-effects but instead watching one of the game's cutscenes that's sometimes drawn in anime-look, similar to Ni No Kuni. Still is an Animated Episode all in CG Which just show how lazy they were in doing this because an all animated OAV would have been better but, better than nothing i guess.
