HollowGirlx Posted December 23, 2016 Share Posted December 23, 2016 I jus got Sims 3 for PS3 , the disc is perfectly clean, installs updates fine, but when it installs the game to HDD , it gets to 100% and jus freezes, it dims out and jus stays there, forcing me to dashboard and exit game, I've tried deleting the game data, clearing cache, anything possible and Sims 3 is jus unplayable, EA does 0 testing and its not acceptable, and other people have the same issue all from when this came out, so any patches to fix? nope, jus a waste of time and money, GG EA u made a piece of trash and for the record I do love Sims on PC but wanted to play it on Ps3 too since trophies Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
totallycrushed Posted December 23, 2016 Share Posted December 23, 2016 Big games that want to install all data on the HDD tend to do that I tried to install GT5 on my newer PS3 and it froze all the time and I don't want to even try to install MGS4 fully to a HDD anymore. It sucks if the game needs that install to be playable, I'd advise to do the cache clearing again and reinstalling while offline. It might help. I have never had an issue like that before but I haven't played my PS3 in quite a while now. What size is your hard drive? Not saying it is out of space, just curious if it is the same that I have. I have been thinking of buying Sims 3 and Sims 3 Pets but if I can't even install it, I am not going to bother. its 250gb and def not out of space, i clean off old data quite often from games I moved on from or lost interest in and i dont really buy digital, and the hard drive is also quite new as well, and i rented and tried sims 3 on the xbox and it runs/plays/installs fine, i jus hate the xbox interface, its too slow/laggy for me as opposed to PSN interface Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
