2017 Platinum Plans

Well so far i have managed to get Modern Warfare Remastered and Tearaway Platinums.

 

I am going to try to finish off LBP3 next i think and maybe try a few RPGs like Tales of Zestiria and Dragon Quest.

I had eight pending platinums at the end of the 2016:

1. Assassin's Creed III-10% toward platinum 15% total

2. Need For Speed Rivals-11%

3. The Sims 3-77%

4. The Sims 3 Pets (completed New Year's Day)

5. Red Dead Redemption-30% towards plat, 45% total

6. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection-25%

7. 3D Dot Game Heroes-8%

8. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2-4%

 

I intend to get the remaining seven done by the end of the year. As for other things, not 100% certain. Rather not change my mind a million times.

Hoping to push through to 150 plats and beyond this year.  I'd like to clear some of the older backlog on my PS4 as well.  I need to get the Battlefield 1 single player out the way for the plat and finish Batman TTG before moving on to anything new.

This year also I'd like to go back and finish grounded mode in TLOU remastered after I had a HDD die on me.  Divinity Original Sin was a game I only started as my wife wanted a co-op partner but platting it looks like it would be a fairly beefy achievement.  This may even be the year I fire up P4G.  New games will always be coming along to add to the mix.

I am going through my backlog of games to try and be free of all my PS3 games (as well as PS4 i not 100% but close), as my worry is always that the servers will go down and ill never get my 100% but this year i want to set myself a few almost impossible platinum/ 100% but get up to 80, so far 57

Got a quite a bit of (supposedly) fairly long JRPGs in my backlog along with few that I plan to purchase. I don't know if I'll be patient enough to keep my word but it would be cool to clear 10 JRPGs in a row spanning a good chunk/most of 2017.

I think that's a good plan to be honest. I wouldn't worry too much about servers closing if you keep a fairly keen eye on this site and others but i am definitely going to try and clear up my PS3 lists this year.

 

The old COD games i am close to finishing, Brink, Flashpoint, Lightening Returns, Saboteur and others.

 

I am hoping to be close to 250 Platinums by the end of 2017.

I hear you Kratos! I definitely don't think i'll make the FF stuff completely. I wanted to set myself a BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) which are usually high and hard to obtain, but the trick with them is if you aim for something big like that, you'll generally fall somewhere further than you would if you just settled for something sensible.

Clearing my backlog at the moment. Trying to get it cleared before March 1st 2017 as that's the date I will buy Horizon Zero Dawn, Nioh and Resident Evil 7. 

 

One game in my backlog is The Walking Dead Season 1 on PS4 which will give me my first Platinum for 2017 and I will get my Uncharted 4 and Watch Dogs 2 Platinum at some point this year. Not sure what other games I will try and Platinum but let's hope there are many

Well, I got 51 plats in 2015, and 51 plats in 2016, so I'm gonna say that 51 plats is the goal again in 2017. On the completion front, I would like to break 80% for my overall completion percentage. I probably won't, as I also want to try a ton of new games right now, but it would be nice. After getting a good deal of UR plats, my plats have really skewed easy lately, so I would like to start UR hunting again (Titan Souls begins the quest). And of course, I always want to finish old projects. Specifically, I'd like to knock out some RPGs this year (Tales Collection, Final Fantasy collection, etc.).

 

And maybe the Star Ocean: The Last Hope plat? Nah - screw that piece of crap.

Right now, I only have plans to platinum one game (not sure) and then to reach my 100th Platinum, and to also make it my 10,000th trophy.  I already have a plan for which one it will be
