Leo_the_Lion25
I'm sharing this over here. The game is now crossbuy , if you already own one version of the game. You can purchase the other version for free. When it was first released on the vita, it wasn't crossbuy . At some point in time, it became crossbuy . opikal
Yea I almost bought the vita version, then all of a sudden it was free. Also the vita version is broken as hell. Glitchy sound, glitchy shadows, makes it hard to enjoy. Edited February 11, 2017 by opikal

Every time you go into loading screen there's a 35% it crashes the app on VITA.

Glitchy sound, glitchy shadows, makes it hard to enjoy. This really needs to be stressed. I've played the Jak collection, Borderlands 2, and pretty much everything else on Vita, and nothing has come close to how terrible the Dex Vita port is. It crashes about every 8 loading screens, and the loading screens themselves are frequent and about 30 seconds each. The hacking mini-game (which pops up *constantly*) is essentially broken, since the line-of-sight mechanic from the PS4 version doesn't work properly, so enemies constantly appear directly on top of you and insta-kill you. The game on Vita is the closest thing I've seen to unplayable in my past 5 years of gaming. Edited March 10, 2017 by NathanielJohn

I was going to play this one on both PS4 and VITA since it's crossbuy but after reading this looks like VITA plan will be deleted
starcrunch061
I wish I had deleted the game instead of starting it on the Vita. It’s absolute garbage there.

Would be great to know! No, because it's not a crossbuy between physical and digital. That wouldnt make sense either, It's like you buy a game and resell it or ask for a refund in order to get a free copy of the game digitally... However, there are companies that make mistakes like this such as the physical version of Dead Island: Complete Edition and Mighty No9 that gives you a digital code to download/buy the same game on PS3 or digital copy. Playstation All Stars Battle Royale gave a free digital Vita copy when you purchased a physical PS3 copy.

Nothing at all. I really enjoyed Dex on PS4. Fast-paced fun. The Vita version ruins all of that. Even if the game didn’t crash, the load times are absurd. It completely ruins the (theoretically awesome) fast-travel system.

Yes, like I said, some companies were stupid enough to give the game for free, like those I mentioned. I say "stupid" because a friend of mine bought a Ratchet game for PS3 on Cex and after using an unused code of the game for vita, he asked for a refund of the game. So, basically, he can play the game for free. I had some clever people that tried to sell games at my workplace, specially Dead Island on PS4. They paid 40€ and I was offering 5 for the game (selling it for 10 or 15). Then I explained that they weren't giving the full game like they bought, just a part of the game (Dead Island 1), Riptide and Retro were digital only. Dex doesn't have a digital code for Vita, if that's the question - I assumed he already got the physical copy.
