I also hope it gets patched but wondering at what cost?  I don't know how things like that work.

It reminds me of the old gameshark from PS1. But I think this is way too risky: the PS4 relies heavily on digital information, both from the game and the account. Who can say that this device is only tampering with the savedata?

Sony will probably add some kind of firewall to this in the next system update.

i hope this gets patched or something i dont like people hacking there way to a platinum, if you want it work for it i only feel like trophy hacking sould be allowed if there is one or two unobtainable trophies like black ops 2 platinum but thats it

Nah, this'll get patched out for sure once Sony hears this. There's too much tampering of data here so nope this is gonna be gone in a jiffy.

It's not just for trophy hacking is it? If you're playing Dark Souls 3 you might be able to edit your character's stats and give yourself infinite health, etc... I hope Sony will just say ''nope'' and make a patch that'll make this save editor useless.

Well for the people that buy it, it's all fun and games till Sony patches it. That was a fine $70 well spent lmao.

 

It also then makes buying games pointless.. congrats, you've just spent  ______ just to platinum a game in like 3 seconds, gg. Cause that's how you're "supposed to" play games now.

It looks like a Game Genie sort of thing for me where you can instantly max out your stats or have any weapon you want, infinite health, etc.

I kinda doubt they'll patch it out. You can still edit ps3 saves to work with the current ps3 ofw.

I had two Action Replays as a kid, one for my Gameboy and one for my Gamecube. Can't really judge todays kids for wanting to do the same just because it invalidates my collection of digital trophies.

Just enable the option to report hacked trophies for PS4 games and be done with it.

Vita reporting should be enabled too. Henkaku has a save editor in addition to direct access to the trophy folders on vitas.
