ShonenCat
I've played many. But the one I have the most magical memories of is Super Mario RPG (SNES).

LunarCatDragon
Definitely the Lunar games, Silver Star and Eternal Blue. Both games just get better with age because of their old school charm.

Next3Exits
I'm going to say it's a tie between Super Mario RPG on the SNES and Ogre Battle 64 on the N64
voodoo_eyes
The only RPG I played for years over and over again. Done the same later on with Baldur's Gate II, Icewind Dale and Icewind Dale II. Still my favourite game series of all time. RickTheRular
FFX was pretty good as well. The entire story had me drawn from beginning to end. Everything from obtaining the ultimate weapons for each party member to collecting all the aeons and mini games, I was enjoying every bit of it. Blitz Ball is where it's at!! The real surprise was that I found it in a back room at a Wal-Mart for like fifteen bucks. No one bought this game in NA.
