Horizon: Zero Dawn Trophy List

Literally by your logic, every game can have all bronze trophies and it'd be perfectly ok :|

Well yeah, I wouldn't mind that, for open world games at least. Only bronze means more trophies to reward stuff on - like Batman Arkham Knight giving a trophy to completion of each side quest. Contrast Assassin's Creed, especially Unity and Syndicate, where you can get the platinum with loads of side stuff not done. If only they'd taken less silver and gold trophies so more side missions could have been rewarded...

Personally, yes I'd say open world games can do with more trophies to show players have done each and every thing. Just one gold trophy for 100% completion and nothing else would be less rewarding than one bronze trophy for each of the fifteen side subquests if they all take a while to get through.

That's not the name of the platinum trophy.... it's just the trophy grade for it :P

Is it just me, or how is there 105 people who have the game and 5 Platinum achievers considering it's not out until Wednesday in Europe or Tuesday in NA?

Probably mostly reviewers and Youtubers. A lot of reviews have been published 4 days ago so they probably already have the game for about 1,5 weeks now.

I hope there are no missable trophies. They are never fun but it RPG's they are killer.

From the looks of the list this could be a possible missable trophy. Then again I don't know seeing some have the plat already.

I don't like missable trophies either.

Sorry if already posted but

Horizon Zero Dawn (PowerPyx) - Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 Approximate amount of time to platinum: 40-50 hours Offline Trophies: 56 Online Trophies: 0 Number of missable trophies: Possibly 1 (“All allies joined”) Glitched trophies: 0 (the number of kills in game stats may be a bit glitchy, but it’s just a display bug and doesn’t affect trophies) Does difficulty affect trophies?: No. Can do everything on easy.

Surviving Strats

Skills:

You can buy skills with skill points. You receive skill points by leveling up. There are 3 main categories.

  1. Prowler: This category focuses on stealth.
  2. Brave: This category focuses on combat.
  3. Forager: This category focuses on resource efficiency and machine overriding.

It's advised to buy the Silent Strike skill first (1 skill point). This skill will drastically help you to hunt down smaller machines. And it will deal much damage to stronger machines as well. Buy this first because you'll use it all the time.

Resources:

You can gather resources by pressing Triangle .There are 2 kinds of resources.

  1.  Medicinal resources: these resources will fill your Medicine Pouch.

  2. Crafting resources: these resources are required for crafting certain things in the game. Eg like weapons, munition, armor.

Al the resources can be used to trade with merchants. By these merchants you can also sell resources. Items that are onlymarked with "Selling for Metal Shards" in the "Used For" collum are safe to sell since you won't need them yourself. Every single merchant will also have a free Sampel Box. This will let you easily obtain some extra resources.

Make it a habit to gather all resources you find. Don't worry if you inventory becomes full. You can increase the size of your inventory by going to your General Menu and than going to Crafting. You can then select a type of inventory you want to increase. Like example the Resource Inventory.

Machine hunting:

Each machine has it own attacks, and it own weaknesses. You can toggle Focus Mode on to identify each machine weak points and by some machines you can highlight their tracks. When using Focus Mode on a machine, it will tell you of it's weak to  Fire or week to Freeze if the machine you scan has one of those weaknesses.

You can loot a machine carcass. Press and hold Triangle to Search the machine. Now you can press Cross to take the loot you want, or press Triangle to take all the loot. This is a quick way to gather more resources.
