Getting 100 percent sync is a chore...

First off I want to say that Brotherhood is probably my favorite Assassins Creed game from the past generation. Most people say Assassins Creed 2 is the best because of a likeable protagonist, a good correlation between modern day and the historical events, and overall a good open world game on it's own. But I like Brotherhood the best because it took what Assassins Creed 2 had and made it better. Good characters, more weapons, fun and varied missions, and a continuation of the main story and present day.

Unfortunately getting 100 sync which is required for the platinum for the PS4 version is a bit of a chore, mostly because of fulfilling that optional objective in the storyline memories which feels tacked on. I am currently struggling with the Romulus Lairs as they leave no room for error and have a very strict optional objective, meaning one good mistake will have you starting all over. I made several attempts on a couple of them and still haven't fulfilled the optional objectives for 100 percenting them, and I am getting pretty frustrated.

There doesn't seem to be any guides on Youtube (unless I'm missing one) on this one silver trophy since it was primarily in a DLC pack, and wasn't required for the platinum. But since most people have moved on from the Ezio games since they're several years old now there isn't a lot of attention for them. I just know the game makes you do the missions in ways that are rather frustrating.

The lairs actually have alot of room of error, you can check how much time you have left if you press pause. What i did was sometimes look at the time ledt and when i knew i wasn't going to make it i restarted

Yup, it's a pain.

I'm in the lucky position where all of my main-story missions are 100% aside from a couple of Romulus missions. (The ones with the time requirement.)

The trick is to 100% them on your first attempt, to reduce replays. I went for every single 100% I could during my 1st PT on PS4. I should be able to clean up this trophy in short order.

What I am not looking forward to, at all, is the collectible clean up. So many damned flags and feathers. While I agree that this game is better than ACII, it is the game that marked Ubisoft's descent into pointless open-world fuck-about-ery in some respects.

The Tank and Bomber Leonardo missions were a pain as well. With the Tank mission there is a glitch in the last area where the other two tanks can't hit you even though they have clear sight of you. The Bomber mission was just a matter of avoiding those pesky guards on the tower shooting their arrows. Irritating when you're 15 minutes into the mission and you just failed because a guard hit your bomber.

I still have the maze Romulus lair to redo. The sewer lair one isn't that bad, just a matter of not taking too many hits. Last one is in the Vatican area and is also a pain to 100 percent since it also has the eight minute requirement.

Apart from that, getting the optional requirement really isn't that bad in most missions. The problem is because of the jumping controls, Ezio likes to jump in a direction I did not want him to jump, and this causes me to have to restart to the very beginning. This includes missions where I have to stealth kill someone or remain undetected, I've lost count how many times I've failed because I jumped in the wrong direction due to the controls.

At least Ubisoft was nice enough to have you buy an in-game map of all the flag and feather locations. I hate when games force you to go on a collectathon when the damn collectibles don't even show up on the map. Feather collecting in AC II is a real chore.

The problem is Revelations is the same thing as Brotherhood, only there's no real reason why you're running around renovating the shops. By Chapter 4 I still had no clue why I was doing so, and I'm someone who follows the story slow and carefully.

Unity is the worst I've heard in terms of collectibles. Thankfully there aren't as many to collect in Syndicate.

True but as I said to the guy above, the jumping controls make the 100 sync requirement more difficult than it actually is. Finishing in under eight minutes is just a matter of memorization and trial and error. The maze Romulus Lair is a pain because there's several different branching paths with treasure chests, and near the end you have to fight a bunch of Romulus followers.

Amen. for the longest time on PS3 I had decided I wasn't gonna bother getting 100% sync because I wasn't gonna get the platinum due to the ridiculous online requirements- back when I first played the game the online was pretty well populated but I was uninterested because I sucked at competitive online play (and still do). Later as I got my boosting game on, I decided I would get the plat and went to for the entire 100% sync. The time limits in the Romulus dens took a few tries each but there was one mission in particular where you have to dress as a French guard to infiltrate a fortress and NOT TAKE ANY DAMAGE. The fight at the end was the worst, took me about 20 tries and a LOT of luck (calling in my Assassin buddies helped a lot but didn't do the whole job). I think that's the toughest one. Many people report having trouble with the Tank mission especially with the two tanks at the end, but you can very easily bitch out of it and stay just outside of the sync border at the entrance gate- you won't desynchronize and you won't take damage!

That one was a big pain. Not only do you have to clear the path for Bartolomeo's men (get too far from them and get desynchronized, not go quick enough, get desynchronized) you have to watch unskippable cutscenes and then get ambushed by "strong" Borgia guards. I tried running away but then they catch up to me and then I'm screwed. Then it's go back to the beginning and repeat five - eight minutes of the mission leading up to that point.

I don't know if any Assassnination/Courtesan/Thief mission is tough to get 100 percent sync on. Can't remember since it was two years ago.

Personally I hate boosting for multiplayer trophies for a mode that is mainly dead. So I will probably never get the platinum on the PS3.

Yeah none of the faction missions are all that hard I don't think. Certainly nothing as tough as tough as the mission we're talking about!

HATED boosting the game online as well but it was worthwhile in the end just to see that beautiful shiny platinum pop. It was one I really felt like I earned despite the boosting, which is why it has a space in my trophy cabinet. I set a goal of platinuming every Assassin's Creed game so I figure if I could get ACB on PS3 I can get any and all of the rest of them too!

The maze is really easy, just follow the torches that are lit, easiest lair in my opinion

The Collectables aren't to bad as long as you collect them as you play I wouldn't know for the PS4 because I already plated it once no need for a second time but when a I played the hell out of it it was a breeze getting everything the Romulus missions are a pain and the story sync aren't that hard the only two assassins creed games I could never plat is rouge and 3 didn't find them as intriguing as the other games haven't done syndicate yet because I want to plat it once a new game is about to come out don't ask me why I just decided to wait on it. But anyway the flags aren't to bad the da vinci mission where you fight with the tank was the hardest for me to get 100% if you need help with a part feel free to message me and I'll explain what I can the best I can possible

Brotherhood was basically the start of having a trophy for getting 100 percent sync. I know Revelations has a trophy for getting all the story missions at 100 percent (not sure if I have to do everything else that counts), III has it, Black Flag has it and so on. I haven't looked at Rogue's trophies so don't know if that has a trophy for completing all the optional objectives.

In my view it kind of feels like "Okay, we at Ubisoft are going to put this optional objective into this mission even though it doesn't make much sense". One such mission is getting ambushed by no less than 13 Romulus Followers. I can kill them soon enough but not get hit once? This was basically putting in a challenge that wasn't really necessary. I'm pretty sure most of everybody failed that optional objective on their first go.

Right now I have the flags and feathers to collect, beat up the five guys doing handstands and do all missions of the Da Vinci Disappearance with 100 percent sync. I'll be done with Brotherhood after that, but I may take a break from playing another Assassins Creed game and go to Far Cry Primal.

Sequence 4, mission 3. After you watch the S&M lesbian porno, you take on the Knight in shining armors role and grab the damsel in distress in your arms and your goal is to get her out of the area without detection with many guards patrolling back and forth. Basically drop her, kill people stealth, pick her up, rinse and repeat until victory. That's one retarded and boring combo of a mission.

True. The last Da Vinci Disappearance mission is a pain because you can't get hit once, and you have over 10 robed followers after you. Plus there are no less than three areas afterwards where you have to parkour your way up to get to the next room.

Just played the tank mission

WTF IS THIS SHIT

retarded maneuver, all time in the open, dodging is very out of question, failing objective instantly saves, mission is absurdly big, getting no damage in the tank only to destroy it at the end of the mission. WTF UBISOFT

Meanwhile, about done with story, romulus lairs and side quests. So close, yet so far away
