Popular Post Milktastrophe
*Analysis is primarily from the Ouya version of the game (the PS4 isn't as easy to reverse ;p). Here I (is there even anyone else that has even bothered playing this game more than once?) will try to uncover the mysteries behind this game. Unfortunately, I don't think the Ouya version has any achievements so it's not that easy to figure out the trophy requirements. Missions Apparently there are missions. This may be cut content since the missions are quite boring, but get a load of these: Mission 1 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 2 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 3 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 4 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 5 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 6 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 7 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 8 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door Mission 9 - Defeat at least 1500 Robots And Find Exit Door All Subsequent Missions - FIND EXIT DOOR Sounds like very Robot Destroyer-y right! Defeat 1500 robots in levels 1-9 then beat the game (just to be safe probably want to defeat 1500 robots in level 10 too). That would take so much time and be so boring, I really hope this isn't it. The thing is, there's supposed to be a place to turn in missions pressing down, like a regular pickup, but it's also supposed to play sound 15 (not yet been able to dump the audio so don't know what this is). I've already defeated 2000 robots in level 1, but don't remember if it played any special sound. Level Maps The stages are mainly the same. Though the Ouya version looks to have enemies pre-spawned and less spawn points in some areas. Note: enemy spawn points are the red icons. If I get bored enough I'll edit these maps to have the spawn points in the correct places for the PS4 version, just play a few times and you'll memorize the spawn points no problem though. World 1-0 (id: 10) http://imgur.com/070oYql PS4: more spawn points and more spikes in the thinner column. White sushi is on the red block and lower green sushi is 1-up. World 1-1 (id: 11) http://imgur.com/xRLWjSy PS4: more spawn points and some in different places. The empty gap in the yellow blocks near the start is filled in (Ouya has a billboard here). Also there's blue blocks and the iFly remote is behind them making the iFly pretty useless in this level (well, it's useless in the Ouya version too). Note: This is the last level of demo mode World 1-2 (id: 12) http://imgur.com/qIxC2hc PS4: Boss is located on the top left ledge. There's more blue blocks, but they're insignificant in this level. Blue key is up a floor, but you've got the iFly in this level so it doesn't matter where it is. World 1-3 (id: 13) http://imgur.com/NeRVIVj PS4: There's a spawn in the top left area in the middle of the four ropes. World 2-1 (id: 14) http://imgur.com/WU1ZiAj PS4: more spawn points through the level World 2-2 (id: 15) http://imgur.com/5h6dyuz World 2-3 (id: 16) http://imgur.com/u9shVsx World 3-1 (id: 17) http://imgur.com/MaMWwB7 World 3-2 (id: 18) http://imgur.com/vdAoszB World 3-3 (id: 19) http://imgur.com/XAEDcJj PS4: There's yellow blocks on some of the grey ones (have not investigated whether they are there and this is a glitch in the map export) Unused Maps: Test 00 (id: 6) http://imgur.com/hdU04pa Loaded after the denysoft logo instead of the game intro if the testingMode debug hook is set. World Town (id: 9) http://imgur.com/TArwJnJ Only accessible with the roomShortcuts debug hook. Story Screens (id: 20) The Ouya version has the same bug as the PS4 version where the same story screen is shown after levels 9 and 10. But there's two extra unused story screens. The Ouya story screens also have what section of the bible the quote is from. Also you get to see Zegeta's ugly face on Ouya. Level 1 - Zegeta talking http://imgur.com/l3nAaXJ Level 2 - Matthew 24:9 http://imgur.com/dHxV2Wj Level 3 - Revelation 2:10 http://imgur.com/GF77Q85 Level 4 - Revelation 13:15 http://imgur.com/t9mP1R4 Level 5 - Zegeta talking http://imgur.com/1eTqGHf Level 6 - Revelation 14:9-10 http://imgur.com/9Bq9xdv Level 7 - Revelation 14:11 http://imgur.com/hkeZHOT Level 8 - Revelation 16:2 http://imgur.com/lAP35Gh Level 9 - Revelation 17:14 http://imgur.com/ykI0SdV Level 10 - Revelation 14:14 again http://imgur.com/ykI0SdV Unused story screens (these would appear if there were 12 levels, could there be secret levels added in the PS4 version?): Level 11 - Revelation 19:20 http://imgur.com/tV4JZFt Level 12 - Revelation 14:13 http://imgur.com/Rs6by9N Punching And Strength Guess what, maybe the leveling up actually has a purpose. You start with heroStr = 1 and you gain +5 strength every level up! Except the regular robots have 100* health and bosses have 350* health. So you'll die from colliding way before you get even a fraction of the required punches in. Looks like it's supposed to be possible to punch a boss, but you actually can't because the boss's hit box is his head and you can't punch in the air. I think you are supposed to be able to jump attack the boss as well, but that also doesn't seem to work. FYI- Level 8 is the one to test punching the boss because you can approach from the left side without ever being on the right side of the boss. The boss only switches to alerted mode when you are on his right side. *Those health values may be different on PS4 since it takes 21 bullets to kill a boss and 1 bullet to kill a normal robot (the hitbox is pretty small so just use grenades instead) and heroBulletStr is supposed to be 30. Cash ($) - The Mystery Currency We know we can get gold from the flappy game and use it to buy ammo (but farming ammo is way easier so gold is useless), but what about cash? Well, there's nothing to increment cash in the Ouya version, however there's also nothing to increment gold in Ouya but it is obtainable in PS4. I suspect cash is not actually implemented. Zegeta's Birthday Zegeta is a freak because he has 2 birthdays: June 23 and December 12. Have not found these used anywhere. Tried setting PS4 date to June 23 but didn't notice anything different (though did not go past first level). Peculiar Strings Pick up the Robot head, collect them 4 research This text is for picking up the boss's head... but the boss head can't be picked up... Defeat 1500 Enemies to Exit Defeating 1500 enemies again. This is tied to one of those info icons, didn't see this used anywhere though. You need to have the key enter Apparently some levels were supposed to require keys to beat. I don't think picking up all the keys gives any trophies though. starcrunch061
I was wondering what your point here was, as the trophies are of course known. But looking at them, I guess no one knows what the hell is going on in this game. This is now interesting to me. I remember seeing this game on sale some time ago. Milktastrophe
I was investing the spaceship level code for the Ouya version and it looks like the asteroids will stop spawning after you've destroyed 500 of them (but I didn't see any logic for actually beating the level). So I tried the space ship level on the PS4 version since I've never really played it. For those that didn't know, Attacking Zegeta is not only the world's worst platformer, but it's the world worst shmup too. The hitbox of the spaceship is like half the screen, so I'll be pretty surprised if someone can get 500 asteroids in one go. Anyway, I wanted to double check if it let you continue the spaceship level after dying, but it doesn't, it spits you back out to level 1. This is where I found a bug in the game! Dying in the spaceship removes one life, however you don't get a game over from it, so it's possible to have negative lives. Unfortunately, this dev actually coded something correctly so dying with negative lives does result in a game over, so this glitch can't be used to get infinite lives.

Frontzie
I had a feeling that the Hebrew text at the splash screen had some hints we could use. I suppose this is correct. EDIT: The rest of the phrases are gibberish/not being translated correctly by Google Translate. Edited July 23, 2021 by frontzie see edit
