jackhnatejko
It'll be released on 22nd of August in North America and 25th in Europe. Any info on Australia release date? Quote Like the first game, Shadow of War is set between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It will be picking things up right where Shadow of Mordor left off, with Talion and Celebrimbor forging a new Ring of Power to fight against Sauron. The trailer shows some of the new enemies Talion will have to face, including a Balrog, the Nazgûl, and of course, lots and lots of orcs. The game will also feature an expansion of the Nemesis System from Shadow of Mordor, with an addition of new “Nemesis Fortresses” and “Followers.” Warner Bros. has announced a gameplay unveiling for March 8th. Along with the actual game, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has already announced four different versions of the game on offer. The Standard edition includes the standalone game; the Silver edition adds two Orc tribes to expand the Nemesis system further; the Gold edition builds on the Silver edition by including a season pass for the two upcoming story expansions (The Blade of Galadriel and The Desolation of Mordor); and the Mithril edition comes with the usual assortment of collectable statuettes, maps, and fancy cases, along with everything else included in the other versions. It’s a little disheartening to see so much content walled away behind deluxe editions at the initial announcement of a title, but that’s the current state of the industry. So... who's looking forward to this? Any thoughts on this sequel? Let us know in the comments. P.S. Mithril Edition looks fantastic, but expect the price tag to be around 300 bucks.
