PvP Experience?

So what is everyone's PvP experience in this game especially since they just added a trophy for getting to rank 1 in one week? I personally am finding being a casual gamer of this game to be at such a huge disadvantage compared to my opponents that it is almost 100% failure rate due to facing opponents with cards that have 2X Attack, Health, and Armor as well as abilities that far outstrip the ones that I have in addition to have 2-3 syngeries per card compared to my 0-1 per each card.

 

All in all the game seems to be heavily leaning towards pay to win and not looking forward to trying to get Rank 1 PvP with the latest updates.

 

Maybe I'm just whining but I have played enough of the game to have gotten all the other trophies prior to the latest batch dropped last night and PvP seems to have gotten worse and worse in terms of lopsided fights.
