That's more than I expected. I almost never go for "first achievers" since I almost always buy my games on sale, except for sports games (which I've stopped doing) and after no-liifeing for the FIFA 20 milestones and accomplishing what I did (I did not get an advanced copy, a few people ahead of me did) - I'm thrilled that I was as high as the 4th fastest at one point. I don't need any more accomplishments after that. In terms of the other fastest achievers, hilarious how my Tiny Brains one is up there for 2+ years of speedrunning. Everything else I just stumbled into or liked a game enough to power through it and end up on the leaderboards. Fun stuff!

 

Your list and trophy profile are pretty good.

 

I make the argument that getting on the First Achievers list is a lot more impressive than getting on the Fastest Achievers list. A number of games I got done really quick are old games I played some 15 - 20+ years ago back in the day, so I knew what they were coming in when I was going for the trophies.

 

I have a few indie/niche games I got done fairly quickly that have been around the past two to five years. My regret is almost nothing I have is a AAA game. You really have to know what you're doing, and unfortunately even if you get a copy of a AAA game early you got PowerPyx and Brian (PS4Trophies) who always finish their games well ahead of time. That's because the companies ship them the game weeks before they're even released, so they can make their videos on YouTube for trophy hunters like us to follow them. In that sense, trying to be on the First Achievers list isn't really fair.

 

A number of AAA games I found, like the Assassins Creed titles, you pretty much have to no life. That includes probably spending a 24 hour session just playing a game. Not something I will do since that is unhealthy and there will always be someone faster.

I do have only 2 games however I am terribly proud of them :

 

Jotun - 30th fastest achiever , 34th platinum achiever(out of 34 lol) - 7 months 1 week 

Guilty Gear - 6th fastest 100% achiever(out of 9), 1st 100% achiever - 1 day 17 hours

 

I guess I am only on this ranking because these games don't even have 50 users that completed them. Didn't aim to speedrun them honestly.

Self proclaimed #01 fastest platinum achiever for Resident Evil 7. Because the game now has DLC, there is no way to see who has the fastest base game completion times via leaderboard. I've only gone for fastest platinum once, and I ended up 3rd for Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. I planned it out and only had one shot, but ended up 5 minutes short of 1st place.

 

By virtue of not a lot of people playing them, I am:

 

11th for Nascar Heat 4

12th for Shalnor Legends: Sacred Lands

20th for Gal*Gun Double Peace

21st for Nascar Heat 3

 

Other games include:

14th for Uncharted 4 (I was 4th for a long time, but I guess a bunch of bots/speedrunners took over?)

15th for Assassin's Creed Syndicate (Absolutely no-lifed this game over a 3 day weekend)

 

That's probably it, anything else I wouldn't know about without checking every single game. I did happened to place in the top 50 for first to plat The Division. I am 29th and my two friends are 30th/31st. Was a lot of fun (then DLC came along, blech).

I managed to achieve that one solely due to being sick at the time and not feeling compelled to do anything else. I anticipate that as time goes by, I'll be able to expand this list with future titles. There are a few I've been contemplating speed running and perhaps even attaining the #1 spot, but we'll see. However, one title I can see myself accomplishing in the near future is Mulaka, but only because it's a relatively obscure title that has a sparse amount of players on it.

Updating my list yet again, adding one game in which I ended up first  Once again, heavy planning involved as well as a few test runs on dummy accounts (1 first-ever playthrough + 2 trophy speedrun attempts to be precise) helped my reduce the former fastest time by a whole 1 hour and 13 minutes

- Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale : 1 hour, 46 seconds

 

I made a few mistakes, which added about 5 minutes to my total, but I wasn't up for a 4th run It already was a good time, and I thought I could leave some room to challenge newcomers
