marv257
I think this is a little weird: When I search for "Type" or "Type:" the search results put out: - R-Type Dimensions - FF Type-0 HD - 2064: Read Only Memories Those obviously are gone searching for "Type:R", but Type:Rider doesn't show up until searching for "Type:Ride". This is by truly a very small issue(/bug?), but wanted to share it anyways. Greetings, marv257

Frankly I miss the way it used to work before the site upgrade. I have come across other games where you can't get it to show up unless you use a specific word or section of the title. Shadiochao
It's not a bug, it's just the way the searching works now. It tries to match complete words rather than sections within them and leaves you a one-character room for error. Because Type:Rider doesn't have a space in it, it's counted as a single word. I hate what has happened to the search feature, mostly because the original was already perfect. Even now I can take multiple attempts to find certain games, and that's when I know exactly what I'm looking for. I offered up this constructive criticism about it during the site's beta, but hardly anyone seemed to understand what I was getting at On 23/11/2016 at 0:57 AM, Shadiochao said: The search feature is awful. First, it unnecessarily takes me to a new page. The old search system didn't need to do that, so that's a step down already. Then, the search system itself doesn't seem to know what it wants. I tried to search for Demon's Souls earlier. It doesn't know what the hell I'm looking for if I search "Demon's" or "Demon". But if I want a game with Dead in its title, I get all sorts of things like Dyad, Eat Lead and Chaos;Head. In no particular order, arbitrarily split into four pages. So that's four more pages to click through than I would need on the current version, lightly sprinkled with some unrelated results for good measure. Great. I suppose it's improved ever so slightly since then, since searching for Demon's actually returns Demon's Souls now, but meh
