Is there any way to know how many fish I caught?

So, i've been fishing for over two weeks via levequests and i really wonder if there is any way to see the total fishe i've caught. Thanks

Open your Fishing guide, it shows your total at the bottom:

It seem that the trophy is buggy or the description is not correct, i've caught more than 1000 fishes and still don't pop.

Yea it was over 1100 when it popped for me.

The trophy is not buggy, but rather, it is mislabeled and the description is vauge. The only time fishing counts towards the 1000 is if you are fishing in Thanalan, the Shrould and La Noscea. Fishing in Mor Dohna and Coerthas does not count, only the three areas mentioned. 

 

Furthermore, if you look under the achievement tab in game gathering>fishing, you'll see that there are 5 achievements in each of those areas, fish x times in y level waters. The 1000 fish only count when a fish is counted on those achievements. So if you catch 20 fish in level 1 to 10 waters in Thanalan, it counts 20 fish but any more than 20 doesn't count. You have to have a combined total of 1000 fish over the 15 achievements related to catching x fish in y waters
