Shutout! Trophy tip

Hi all,

 

Just wanted to share something I discovered. After getting so close in doubles to getting this trophy and nowhere near on singles I was getting rather frustrated and so I thought I'd try something.

 

This trophy can be gotten in private match which is already known but I was put off doing this because it required 2 controllers which I don't currently have. This evening the servers wouldn't let me sign in and I could only play offline so I decided to try something using only my 1 controller and it worked fine! Steps to this method are as follows:

 

1. Simply sign in and play disc jam on your main account and click play offline then split screen then finally on singles.

2. Press the PS button and go to power options and click switch user.

3. Log in to another account on your ps4 (I chose one with a PSN account but not sure if this is required) 

4. Head in to disc jam on this account.

5. Press X to join splitscreen mode.

6. Switch back to the main account and start the game.

7. Build a rally up to 50 points against your stationary opponent.

8. Win 2 sets and away you go. Free trophy with only 1 controller.
