marcisaie
I haven't been able to find any tips online for how to beat the luge tour with 10 seconds remaining. Please, if you have any tips, they would be greatly appreciated. I can consistently finish the tour with 3-7 seconds remaining. The same part of the map where I always seem to lose some speed is when you go over those three bumps in a row. Sometimes, I gain speed. Usually, nothing happens. But maybe twice per tour, on the second smaller bump, my speed is reduced to 90. I read somewhere that bobbing your head up and down right before the bumps, like you are trying to get additional height, worked for someone. But this method was inconsistent enough that I'm not convinced. Any other hot tips? Thanks anyone!
shaneyboy619
Yeah, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be too much help out there for this game in general which sucks, but as someone who recently completed the tour with 11 seconds remaining all I can say that practice really was the key for me, of course try to get as many speed boosts as possible by drafting any possible vehicle in the right lane and try to take the inside track on any corners where it could save some valuable time, but really if you just keep at it and keep improving bit by bit then you should be able to get it before too long Oh and jumping over the van in the right lane on the final stage of the tour seems to give you more of a speed boost than anything as I would reach almost 150 after that. I also didn't bother bobbing my head up and down as that didn't seem to make any difference to me, sorry I don't have anything better to add but hopefully it's enough to help, it's more doable than you'd expect
xBurnoutx
Like Shaney mentioned, practice is key. I had quite a few runs before I finally managed to get it, drafting is essential and missing 1 or 2 key drafts will ruin your run. Also it seems when steering you will want to steer lightly and not heavy turns, heavy turns actually often make you lose speed when at some points light turning will even give you more speed. Also watch out with the mud on some places as I missed that when going over mud will also slow you down.
marcisaie
I managed to get the trophy today, thank God. Probably took me 30+ runs. I had a time of 54 seconds heading into the final course. Almost blew it too. I don't know about the head bob, but I seemed to lose speed less often when I moved my head downwards when I landed. Who knows though. Drifting is key, and you're right Burnout, don't turn too quickly if you can help it. This is a difficult platinum and trophy. Good luck to all who attempt.
OJ9999vr
wow this one is difficult, i can't remember getting one run without hitting stuff. The controls are a bit hard to get used to, so far i've only made one complete run with 1 sec remaining. About the head bobbing, i belive you angle the luge midair, then just try landing with the same angle as the road. Edit: After a weeks break i came back to it, began doing some time trail and no collision runs. This made my time go down to around 6 sec. Then i figured out, on the hills look slightly down at steeper hills, and a bit up at bumps. After a bit of practice i got a 9.70, and a few hours later a 11.4x. dansussex
Ok i did it and here are my tips.1) study the VR lUGE world record video on youtube - See where this gamer speeds up and saves time in each run and add this to your game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1wc1_Nol7A 2) refine your skills in time trial mode2) if you finish with less than 52 seconds left on Devils Dash you may as well start again. 52-55 secs left on the clock will help you immensely with the rest of the tour.4)I initially found Midnight Falls tricky, but I realised I was making silly mistakes and not taking advantage of many speed up opportunities in Construction Dash.5) In construction dash I avoided going under the yellow truck and the end of the dirt path (moving back onto the road), simply because it was too tricky and screwing up my tour. 6)for really tight areas to gain speed-switching quickly from left to right (such as a second vehicle right after a previous one), I used my hands on the headset to turn tighter. 7) I tried to keep my finish times within 5 seconds or so of point one, I slightly went over this but was confident I could make up the time in Midnight falls. So in other words, if you think you can make it up do so or restart. 8)keep away from patches on the road.9)gaining Air in certain places dramatically improves your time - over bumps in the road - see video.10) I cannot say that lifting up a bit physically makes any real difference to getting airborne. Maybe it does - it seemed to me the key was that you entry speed determined how much air you would achieve.
hore
I was really worried about this challenge, and after finally doing it on WW with 11.48, I feared the CN stack would take another dozen or so attempts, but voila - 13.43 first try May this serve as inspiration for future generations
GH200190
The hardest part i tought was the last part off stage 4 i was going under the last truck what costed me a lot off time. just replay the last 2 tracks in time trial and be confident with those 2 and master them. Than just go for those my end run times where. 53.13 41.37 28.09 and beat it with 10.28 very close but practice made it work
